- Worried about overcrowding of leaves and not enough light getting through. Based on research it is not good to trim Autos but i found later in this grow that my plants were strong enough to trim and actually seemed to benefit from more light being able to get through to lower branches - Lots of growth still even though flowering has begun and due to it being an Autoflowering strain it will keep growing - Had a bent stem this week on one plant, splinted it and seemed to have regenerated -

This strain is fantastic to grow, another week down and flowering is really starting to show 🙏😁 untied them after last week's post and they have really reacted well. Humidity still isnt as low as i would like even with carbon filter n exhaust fan and a dehumidifier its sitting 58-62, all plants seem to be doing fine though thankfully. Pow, opened the door to the flower room and what a pleasant aroma I qas treated to. The Quick Critical smells great. Five weeks of flower completed and another one or two left. Buds are building nicely and putting on noticable size. The hairs are turning brown and the trics are getting cloudy. Leaves are turning yellow and figure that is from the plant consuming all the nutrients. I am getting the feeling, the moment I am waiting for is close. In my humble opinion and not based on any experience, I would think I have another week left before the first one or two plants are ready to be harvested. The other two do not have the same amount of brown hairs. After leaving the flower room I have the smell all over my hands and clothes, love the smell. June 29: looking good at the start of a new week. Hot again and risk of thunderstorms so the plants are up against the house tonight. Plant has reached lowest of three rungs on the tomato cage and I’m trying to get a few colas to go around on the outside. July 1: Happy Canada Day. Warm again today with a risk of thunderstorms. July 2: cool today (about 12 C high) so watered with 27 C water in morning to help keep things growing. Also topped fourth time to make the 16 cola manifold. This is the best way to shape photoperiod plants…all the work is up front and it produces nice uniform buds that are easy to process during harvest. Two stems on the piece that broke are healthy but smaller than the others. Should even out with time. Watered with full nutrient mix. July 5: looks good. I was gone for a couple of days after the last round of topping and just noticed today that I had done seven and had missed one which has now been dealt with.

Week 4: Started adding Humboldt Secret Golden Tree at 600 ppm. The plant started bushing out from the LST so I defoliated whatever green wasn't getting any light and to expose light to smaller nodes. I was planning on topping this week but to my surprise the plant had created a third axil/node and axillary branch.

Growing and flowering

Pollen was dropping like crazy as the male flowers got ripe and ready. The females got good and coated and fully pollinated. I harvested the males to collect and preserve the pollen. Some dried and I veiled it up. But the bulk majority is still drying up. I left just the bottom portion of the male kicking for some extra pollen well the females throw off. The diary will now begin to focus on the pollinated females. The journey to beans is well under way! Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

She looks and smells so good

Explosive week of growth! These ladies more than doubled in size in just one week!! Coco loco by Bush doctor is absolurelltely, positively, THE TRUTH! no nutrients added, and these girls are absolutely beautiful lush green. Already building heavy stalks! Just LOVING the T5 VEG lights!! Absolutely CANNOT wait to see how these beautiful bitches rip under the HID lights! Still no training. Which is completely out of the normal for me. I train ALL of my autos. I believe I have decided to try them straight ul this run, under intense light. I will use only very light LST and defoliation toward flower. Both of these strains can be finicky about stress, so were gonna go very low stress but high attention on this grow. (Leaf tucking and defoliation) Also, check out my blue dream matic grow that I have runnibg simultaneously. Employing the same tactics on those. One strain will go under 1000 watt hps.. The other strain will go under a brand new HLG 650R.

Temp is now a bit lower.. and letshope she can get some weight on her those last weex!
