Removed 20l from the reservoir and filled it up with fresh nutrients. Added Yara Kristalon Orange, Yara Calcinit and a little bit of Haifa GrowClean to the reservoir. Adjusted PH/ORP, PH- adds P and ORP adjustment adds K. Topped it up with tap water every second day, the dehumidifier pulls ~12l/day, most of it should be from the plants I've got in my tent. I am struggling to keep ORP at ~100, might be a sign of root trouble. Nothing else to report. Values are average of the day. I made a DWC system from a water pump in a 5gallon bucket and an air pump outside the bucket. The water pump brings water up through a tube to replicate a drip ring and the air pump aerates the water in the reservoir. It's very quiet and seems to work well. I modified a design I got from my local hydroponics guy where I also got the net pot and peat pellet. I soaked the peat pellet in tap water that I'd left out overnight to evaporate out the chlorine. I put the seed in the hole in the top and pushed some peat over the hole. I kept it on a plate under a bowl in a drawer for a few days like I would do for the paper towel method. Then I put it in a rock wool cube. It didn't quite fit and I was worried that I might have hurt the root while forcing it in but it looks OK. Then I put it under my light and waited for it to sprout. Now that I've got a sprout happening, I'll plug in the DWC system and put in some starting nutrients. This is my first time running a hydroponics system after almost 10 years growing, so I'm excited :)

Just chopped last night. About 8oz wet weight. Did a good amount of wet trimming, will do a final manicure once it is dried. This grow has been an absolute blast - the girls were good to me and didn't give me much trouble. I am a man of variety, so I always try new things - so not sure if i will grow it again but if I had to, I wouldn't be mad at all :) Smoked some scissor hash it is sure was tasty! and strong - got me feeling reallllllly nice. Will update in a week or so when it is dried to report on the dry weight. And then some time after that I will report on the smoke once it cures :) UPDATE POST HAND DRY: The plants hung for 6 days, and have now moved into the jars. Dry weight of exactly 2oz. 51g buds, 5g trim. I had no idea that cannabis loses its smell a bit as it dries - so i got super worried at first, only to realize this is normal and the beautiful smell returned shortly. Will continue to update after curing for a taste/effect review. UPDATE ~ 1.5 Weeks into cure: Looking back it think I did too much dry trimming. It had been cold at that time, and I was paranoid about mold. It dried quite quickly, and I might have been out a day too long. I was aiming to get them in jars and have it sit at about 60-65% humidity - but when they went into the jars it never went higher than 54% and kind of settled down at 48%. But the buds aren't crispy by any means, so maybe my humidity meter was off. They do seem a little too dry though - and the buds are definitely quite airy. My grow light is pretty small, so I'm not expecting super dense buds. From what I've read, I'm worried they might have over-dried past the point of "curing"? Or maybe I'm reading too much into this, idk. This is all a learning process and I'm enjoying it regardless. It was my first grow so I definitely have room for improvement within my current setup. I couldn't wait to try it so I've been sampling throughout the curing process. The flavor and scent profiles are definitely changing, and for the better - but it doesn't have that same "dank" smell it had when she was a living plant. Not sure if that's normal, but probably just didn't have the best drying process. Obviously this early, I'm not expecting amazing taste and smell, so let's see how some more time does. I will say it gets me stoned, for sure haha. It's got a nice dark green, purple color too it with a decent amount of thichomes visible. Honestly, the smaller plant (#1) that I stunted early on has a better scent/taste already, versus #2 that looked so good. Not saying #2 is a bust at all either. It has this earthy, almost cheesy flavor profile. Interesting. Back to the effect - it worked to the point where I feel laser-focused writing this update haha. It definitely has a hybrid effect, with a nice euphoric uplift, while helping me relax and ease tension. I'll try to keep updating this as it cures!

Starting to fade a little on this last soil grow for a while. She’s started to fill in and I estimate about two more weeks before she gets the chop.

This week, I'm going to keep closer tabs on daily activities. All plants are showing signs of deficiencies. Monday 1/18 - "Flushed" all plants with Clearex. I did about 2.5 gallons per plant and I normally water about 1. I think in general, I'm going to up my watering from here on out if they survive. Tues 1/19 - No watering. Still got a good bit of moisture in the pots. All three plants look a bit healthier. Wed 1/20 - All plants healed by Biden lol. Just in case that fails, I top amended with FFOF mixed with like 2 tbs of Dr Earth, spread across soil for all 3 pots. I watered 3, 3gallon plants with 5 gallons total. Apx 1.5 gallons per plant and they all ran off. Plants looking healthier than they did pre-flush, but I think i'll need to go ahead feed the full amount of Dr Earth at the start of week 9. Thurs 1/21 - Plants are looking pretty good. Critical Kush leaves are turning a bit purple, could be phosphorus def. Friday 1/22 - Normally I would have watered, but the top 2 inches felt damp and the moisture meter shows 2-3 towards the bottom. Gonna give it another day Sat 1/23 - Feed and watering time! I went ahead and did 4 Tablespoons of Dr Earth Life in each 3 gallon pot. The most I've fed to date. This week seems to have been recovering fairly well. Check out the video for a decent tour. In the video I said I fed 4 teaspoons, but it was tablespoons. 😵

LSD-25 by far my favorite plant I've ever grown. It's colors are so beautiful, it's growth is exciting to watch. Fastbuds really out did themselves on this one! I love it.

It is harvest day for fast flowering number 7. Some big super buds that smell great and were very heavy. 5 hangers of dense buds to dry. Will be back for smoke report once dry, and trimmed. Beginning of week... Beginning of first flush week! So excited!!! I put 4mL of FloraKleen into 3L of pH'd water.. Going in: 160 PPM.. Runoff: 700 PPM.. I may run 1 more flush of FloraKleen through the medium in the AM.. Will be updating on the runoff as I go.. Just makes better sense to check runoff to me.. I know some people dont do it.. And claim its pointless.. But I think runoff tells you ALOT.. I think the runoff reading is just from what was built into the medium still.. I just like to make sure she's getting nice and flushed for a good while.. And if the trichomes arent where I want them to be at the end of the 2 week flush I will flush for another week.. But only if needed.. Anyways.. Hope these 2 weeks fly by cuz the week before this didnt at all! Lol.. Next day.. Today is day 2 of flushing.. Used FloraKleen once again.. This time the runoff came out at 640 PPM.. Gettin there lol.. Tonight I'm going to just run 3L of pH'd water and same tomorrow morning.. Will update in the AM Later that night.. Lol.. This time the runoff came out at 750 PPM.. I'm guessing its just more nutrients that were built up in there.. Jeez.. So tomorrow I am just going to flush pH'd water in the AM and in the PM.. With more updates on how that goes.. I also lowered the light down to 12 inches from the tallest colas.. According to the PPFD chart Mars Hydro has, the tall colas (but outside of the footprint) should be getting close to 800 PAR and the shorter (but in the middle of the footprint) should be getting.. Roughly around the same I suppose.. The inside branches are still about 14 - 16 inches from the light.. Wish I would have been able to keep the canopy more even.. But I went with a LST technique that helped me keep all the branches instead of removing some.. Like instead of bending the plant over (to make a "T") to where some branches should probably just be removed because they are going straight into the medium lol.. But this time I tried to bend her over a little different (to make an "X") so that all the branches wouldn't be going straight into the medium.. Idk.. something I've been trying to figure out on my own lol.. But I think I prefer the "T" because it is easier to keep each branch, and it's twin, fairly even throughout the grow.. But I'm still happy asf how this grow has gone so far.. Should have lollipopped a bit too.. But I still enjoy smoking every last bit of these ladies.. And if they are too popcorn-ish, I'll just throw them in a bubble bag with the trim.. Still gonna be happy with the outcome either way!!! Autos are fun.. But I think I still prefer to control when flowering begins.. I know a 2×2 isn't ideal for this.. But I really wanna try to ScrOG a girl in this tent! Just to give it a shot and see how much of a difference it can make in yeild.. Anyways.. Will update tomorrow with the runoff and whatnot!... NEXT day after THAT (Almost mid week)... This AM the runoff came out 444 PPM.. Since I already mixed some pH'd water, I'm gonna use it later tonight.. With an update.. Lol Later that night... Runoff is still coming out about 400 PPM.. Decided to check the pH and the runoff is coming out at 7.. The fuck!? Maybe I forgot to pH earlier this week.. Idk. Whatever lol.. Mid week.. Runoff came out at 333 PPM this morning.. Just going to go back to one watering a day till harvest now. Hope I can get it down to 200 PPM or lower for the last week at least.. But still not sure if I will be letting it go an extra week or not.. We shall see how it goes till then.. The nug I attempted to pollinate didnt take.. Guessing the pollen was too old.. Trashed it.. It was feminized pollen but wasnt the greatest genetics either.. So no loss there.. But the nug looks kinda pathetic.. The pic shows it next to its sister nug and that one still looks good.. Maybe cuz Ive been fucking with it alot.. But whatev.. Shit happens.. May still keep updating the runoff daily.. May not.. See how I feel tomorrow lol Next day.. Runoff came out at 330 PPM again this morning.. Not bad, I suppose.. Alot lower than what its been before I started using this Brita filter lol.. May use Florakleen once more at the beginning of the next week.. Then just water till harvest. Just to see if I can get it down a little more. If not, I'm sure it'll be fine. The fan blowing on the undedside of the light slipped off the pole and was chopping away at one of the colas.. Luckily none of the buds were damaged.. Trichomes definately got knocked off tho lol.. And mostly leaf damage.. This girl smells so fucking amazing.. The colors are awesome.. I don't think I can find another strain to top this one lol.. We shall see tho... Almost end of week.. Runoff came down to 280 PPM this morning.. Niceeee.. I can live with that.. As long as it's not 400+ PPM I think it should be fine.. The main top cola is showing a nice amount of cloudy.. And the very bottom 2 stems are cloudy also.. But the rest of the plant seems moslty clear but also have some cloudy/milky along with them.. I can find a few amber in spots.. Will be updating with pics tomorrow along with some trichome shots!!!... End of week.. Today's runoff came out at 260 PPM.. Niceeee.. I tried to get alot of trichome shots but I just don't have a steady enough hand.. A couple colas have some amber coming it on the very top calyxes.. Some colas are cloudy.. Almost there!!! Not sure if I am gonna take this just 1 more week or 2 more weeks.. We will see how she looks at the end of the next week... As for now.. On to the next week!!!...

Easy trim the buds are sticky and the smell earthy & fruity very nice 👍 The buds are less dense 7-10 days on the dry racks then smoke report next year Take care 😎
