This week has been sunny, hot and wet. I have not done a thing except to keep an eye on Miss Gorilla Cookies. It has been a hot and rainy week and I did not feed this plant this week. That is why I did not record Ph levels and PPM, etc this week. I have really wanted to give this diary an honest, straight up review of Gorilla Cookies growing in whatever Mother Nature threw her way. She is tall and thin but has a lot of bud growth. I am eager to see how big her buds will get. One thing that I have not been super pleased with is using Miracle Grow as a nutrient. This outside grow was an experiment using Miracle and not my typical Fox Farm nutrients. At this point in my grow, Fox Farm beats out Miracle Grow. @Hindugod and I have been growing our Gorilla Cookie plants simultaneously and his plants look thicker than mine do. His weather has not been as hard on his plants as I have had here in Virginia. He is also using different nutrients. Nice flowering stretch time to see some buds soon i guess. It has stretched nicely i guess during the flowering period. I have upgraded the tent size to 1m x 1m x 2m and seems to be better air flow and humidity levels. Also changed the hygrometer to a AirComfort bluetooth wireless monitor which gives great detailed information on temps and humidity as per picture added. Finally pistils have developed cant wait to see bud sites.

Hallo Growfreunde, da bin ich wieder mit einem kleinen Update 🤗😁. Heute ist Tag 5 nach der Umstellung auf 12/12. Der stretch sollte sich bald bemerkbar machen, aber sollte keine Probleme geben, Platz ist da😎💪. Ich habe diese Woche den Tank das erste Mal nachgefüllt, allerdings diesmal mit nur 20L, damit das Wasser nicht so lange steht. Es hatte sich ein kleines CalMag problem angedeutet, was sich aber schonwieder eingependelt hat. Entlaubt habe ich auch. Große Fächerblätter wurden entfernt, aber sehen tut man dass nach 2 Tagen schon nicht mehr😅😅. Ende Woche 2 werde ich nochmal lollipoppen und entlauben, danach wird nix mehr gemacht. Mal sehen ob der Dünger bis zum Ende reicht😅

Coming in a day early this week because tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Plants are growing nicely, pistils and colors and frost, all good stuff happening. None of the colas are fat and solid like a pinecone yet, but we're on track for a nice harvest. I'm thinking 4 more weeks.

For a while, was planning on transplanting the #2 pheno, but after a 5-month cure, the unique and smooth smoke of the #1 pheno was the ultimate reason for switch. --- Ca-Caw! Always pheno hunting! This is why we grow! --- Okay, anyways! - [18:22]: Time to transplant! --- Both 7-gallon pots have been pre-amended and ready for more roots! --- Alright let's go cutty! --- Placed both of the spare Heady OG clones in the propagation tray. - [18:25]: Gently removed the solo cups from both fabric pots (on the right side of the tent) leaving perfect holes. ------ Sprinkled 1/16tsp of Great White, --- Dusted the sides of both holes. --- Also sprinkled a bit around the top soil. --- Great! Time to transplant! --- It’s been two days since both have been watered. --- To loosen and unstick the rootball from the cup, I gently squeezed the sides before pressing the bottom upwards. --- Once fully loosened, I simply Vulcan-gripped the base of the plant and flipped her upside down. - [18:33]: Gorilla Goat #1 dropped straight out of her cup! --- Hmm. Not as rooted as I would hope, but roots look white and healthy! --- The original Garlic Budder #1 pheno easily slipped out of her cup! --- Similar the Gorilla Goat, she could have more roots, but that’s okay. Roots look healthy and that is all that matters! --- Did not break up the rootballs. --- Gently flipped and placed each clone carefully into the pre-inoculated holes. --- Pressed and evened out the top soil for both phenos. - [18:39]: Transplant done! --- Gorilla Goat #1 was transplanted into the back right quadrant. --- Garlic Budder OG#1 was transplanted into the front right quadrant. --- To prevent transplant shock and to help even out the soil moisture, going to give 2 cups of wetting solution each. --- Also adding in a few extra microbes. - [18:55]: Filled a pitcher with 6 cups of RO water. ------ Added 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] ------ Added 1/32tsp of Recharge ------ Added 1/32tsp of Stash Blend ------ Added 1/8tsp of Horticultural Aloe ------ Added 1/8tsp of Horticultural Coconut ------ Added 1/8tsp of Mycrobe Complete ------ Added 1/2tsp of WDG3000 Extra Strength BTI --- Mixed the solution and poured 2 cups straight into a pump sprayer. --- Misted Gorilla Goat #1's straw mulch with the wetting solution (back right quadrant). --- Took my time and tried to go evenly. - [19:15]: Repeated this process for the original Garlic Budder #1 pheno (front right quadrant). --- Using the remaining 2 cups of the wetting solution, misted the straw mulch for both Heady OG (front left quadrant) and TKO (back left quadrant) mothers. --- Ca-Caw!! Done with the transplant! Grow strong my veg queens! - [19:22]: As for the remaining veg clones, --- Decided to try to preserve the genetics in solo cups and basic clonal cycling techniques. --- Plan to take new cuttings in a few weeks or so and will begin the rooting process once more. --- Curing has really changed the way I currently hunt phenos and I really don’t want to lose another keeper pheno (recently regret not keeping a cutting of Garlic Budder #4). --- Oh! Also finally decided to fully give tissue culture a go! --- Another huge shout out to Laur and her independently ran business, Plants-In-Jars! --- If successful, learning tissue culture will be a huge ganja journey milestone by providing a sustainable way to preserve and maintain a diverse genetic library. --- Through continuous subculturing and micro propagation, I should be able to maintain unrooted explant cuttings forever. --- Then when needed, theses cuttings can be rooted and conditioned back into a clonal state and back into solo-cups for transplanting. --- Of course, I have absolutely no idea what I am doing, so developing a successful cannabis tissue culture protocol is going to be fun and full of failure, err, I mean, learning experiences! --- What can possibility go wrong right!? --- While learning (which will most likely take a bit), will continue to maintain the vegging mothers and solo cup clones. --- The ganja journey continues! Plant continues to show growth , slow and steady but maybe it will bust with growth one day, but otherwise I noticed to leaves kind of twisting and curling and such not sure why I barely water them to keep from being overwatered because I noticed the soil does retain water a LOT plan to transplant them in coco coir 50/50 mix fox farm cream of the crop but till then they will remain in Fox farm ocean forest( maybe the soil is overloaded with nutes for this strain) 😬(and me amending not making it any better)

Week 4 begin! Day24 girls are 30cm tall! Im feel a strong genetic! We will see after few weeks!

Two phenotypes - one purple and one white/green. The purple was very difficult to train and resulted in a couple inadvertent breaks - luckily it was repairable. The other trained very well, very flexible and worked very good for SCROG. Both produced heavily and are beautiful. The purple tends to be much more fluffy, with very long pistil hairs - the longest of any grow I have done. The white was super dense, very crystally and sticky. It will be very interesting to see how they smoke. Also, the purple tended to do very well with some nute mistakes I made as well as fluctuating pH in my water feeding. The white did not do as well in this regard but was able to get to harvest fine. Wet bud weight is prior to trimming. The buds off of these plants were HUGE!!!! Plant #1: (Purple): Wet weight - 76.58oz prior to trim; 15 colas; Terps: White - 60%, Clear - 20%, Amber - 20% Plant #2: (White): Wet weight - 71.65oz prior to trim; 16 colas; Terps: White - 70%, Clear - 30%, After 3 days of drying, took them down to trim for my jars. After a few hours filled mostly quart jars 3/4 full but also tried an Infinity jar and a gallon mason jar to minimize the number of smaller jars. Dry weights into jars: Plant #1: 14.79 oz Plant #2: 11.76oz I did pull them after a day to dry rack them for 12 hours due to a little bit higher moisture content then I would have liked ( 70%rH). Re-jarred on 6/1/23 and now holding steady at around 60% rH. Cure Check In (Week 2): 6/10 - 6/12/23: rH ~ 63 - 66%. Daily air exposure & fanning. Very smelly. Looking good - another couple weeks and will be ready.

Lavado de raíces

It is getting real bushy in there and i have some thirsty plants. Tent is getting pretty packed and the stretch is on. I might have to water almost everyday, I suspect them to be on the edge of rootbound. Should have went with 14 liter pots or might even 18. Smell is amazing and they are starting to get sticky when i pick fan leaves. Defoliation is coming at the end of next week tho. But it is really bushy i have been picking tons of leaves so far. Tempted to strip them sooner than 21 days into flower but we will see.

Que pasa familia, andamos por aquí, puesto que está farm cheese a cogido muy buen ritmo, esta será la última semana que la daremos de crecimiento, y en nada pasamos a 12/12.(floración). El ph está controlado en 6.5 , la humedad está por debajo de 55% y la temperatura no sube los 26 grados. Vemos un ejemplar que está ramificando bien, el led me está gustando mucho la flor crece más compacta.
