I’ll start by saying I’m NOT using both bud blood and bud ignitor in one solution, I am using bud blood on the rear tropicanna poison plant and bud ignitor on the front one to test the outcome of them individually to see the best results! I tied down and defoliated twice in the week and have switched to 12-12 yesterday so they’re transitioning now and should be in bloom by week 7! So, what’s interesting this week? The main thing is the smell. They are starting to stink pretty nicely, so I’ve started using the ionizer. Everything except #3 smells more or less the same: mostly sweet chemicals, so I guess GG#4 is taking the lead there. Somewhere in the background you can catch some berries, but not right away. I don’t really know what Kush is supposed to smell like, but I had a chance to try DC Kush last year, and this smell reminds me of it a lot. Sweet, herbal, with that little bitter grapefruit-like edge. But the real star here is #3. Straight from the breeder’s description: blueberry pie. No, you don’t get it… Imagine one of those closed pies from cartoons. You move closer, and first you get that sweet baked smell. Then boom — blueberry filling explosion. And it keeps getting stronger and stronger until everything is covered in blueberries and there is no escape. Crazy stuff. The main thing is to catch it in time and correct it. Buds are swelling, stigmas are not dying off, so overall everything still looks fine.

Very straight forward week in terms of progress. All the secondary lines of the Dominican Republic strain were trimmed, and the plants were foliar fed for the first three days. As an additional note I switched to red and blue light to prepare them for flower.

Thats week 6 of flower in the bag. 3 (maybe 4) go! I wont lie I have been visiting the tent more often these days thanks to the beautiful aroma tempting me to have a look at their progress. The last 24 hours has been quite satisfying for me because the bud growth is now steaming ahead. I wish I had taken photos last night but I showed the girls to a friend yesterday and we could see all the bud sites peeking through but when I checked on them this afternoon the buds are exploding through with vigor! Ive taken another video and a fair few bud shots but next week I will be taking more photos to show you more than just top bud growth as these girls are stacking up! Ive always been really envious of other growers who top their plants multiple times and take the time to ensure the canopy is as level as possible but Im quite proud of my girls canopy and multiple top colas! Anyway, so all I have been doing is continuing with a water and seaweed extract feed, still about 5litres each and they had their last top amendment feed last weed which will last them to the end now and I want them to use up as much of the nutrients available in the soil before I start flushing in the next couple of weeks. For anyone reading who doesnt know about flushing, Ill explain. Flushing is a technique used by growers to get rid of as much of the added nutrients in the medium by 'flushing' around 3 times the volume of the pot the plant is growing in with normal tap water (ensuring the water is at the right PH). Essentially you want to flush the plant in 3 batches so that the medium has time to settle between each flush ensuring you get all the nutrients and minerals out of the medium. You will notice that the run off will get lighter and lighter with each batch of flushing which is the nutrients being flushed out. We do this so that the plant is forced to use its own nutrients which in turn I have found also fattens up the buds. This is the time when you start to notice a change of colour in your plants as they start to use up the nutrients stored in the leaves. Dont panic as these deficiencies are just a sign that the nutrients are being used up and you will end up with bud that will dry better and be less prone to mold issues as well as a smoother smoke and better terpene profiles. Just look at that frost... Thats it for this week! ✌️

week intel: we getting close to end of ripening , this week i raised drought , Nitrogen and E.C stress by feeding them 2 times per week and raised e.c to 3 to cause real stress that will help increase terpenes production stresses : Nitrogen deficiency Stress by removing the fertilizers that has N in them Drought stress via removing one meal in week high E.C stress around 1.7 and the other feeding day 3.0 , 2 times a week feeding: no more Nitrogen i feed them 2 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them high with Bio-Bizz Top-Max + Feeding Booster about 850 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause a medium e.c stress. day 3 : no more feeding this day day 5 : i feed them very high dose of Bio-Bizz Top-Max + Feeding Booster around 1500 ppm - 3 e.c to cause high e.c stress guide of the week : be patient in the last weeks, never hurry for harvest because its the time of ripening in last 2 weeks you should let plants to do their work last weeks of ripening is the time to break the limits we should cause 3 stresses as i said above Nitrogen stress , Drought Stress , E.C Stress

Just back from a vacation. Plants are looking amazing. However I did notice slower development of buds on the opposite side of the tent. I relate this to an issue with the swap out between H2O2 and bleach for sterilization of my reservoir and roots. I will be discontinuing bleach and using H2O2 if needed in fact I'm going to be adding a different product to the girl going forward I'm testing out a product called Hydro bio. This item contains microorganisms, humic acid, folic acid, sea kelp, and molasses. The guy at the grow store claims this item will also clean your Reservoir and the supplying tubes as well as keep the roots healthy. Let's give it a go stay tuned to my next girl to see that one with it right from start

Shes reached 4 feet tall this week😎🌿 Did some defoliating to unblock some of the bud sights.🌺 She took well too last weeks flush & is back on the recommended regimen. 💉 Cant wait to see how these 2 turn out. This is supposed to be a 7 week flower strain but probably gonna let go for 8 weeks flower.🤷‍♂️🏽
