Sadhus # Cannabis Grow Journal - Eternity Grow Cup 2 (Zamnesia x Plagron) 2026
**Grower:** @Sadhusfrgrow
**Strain:** Sticky Broccoli (Zamnesia Seeds) - Feminized
**Strain Description:** Sticky Broccoli is an indica-dominant strain (90%), with an impressive THC content of 23%. It is known for its intense aromas that blend sweet, spicy, and floral notes that linger on the palate. The plants are compact, easy to manage, and offer high yields with an exceptional visual appearance, characterized by resinous and sticky buds. This strain is ideal for growers looking for a combination of potency, flavor, and ease of cultivation.
**General Setup:**
- Substrate: 100% coco (coconut fiber) for optimal aeration and controlled moisture retention.
- Pots: Seeded in 1-liter pots, final transplant into 5-liter pots to limit root stress and optimize space.
- Irrigation: Automatic Netadrip system for precise and uniform distribution of water and nutrients, avoiding overwatering and minimizing the risk of root diseases.
- Environmental Control: TrolMaster for automated climate management (temperature, humidity, VPD, PPFD) and irrigation, with real-time monitoring via the app.
- Nutrition: Plagron Coco line (A&B, additives like Power Roots, Pure Zym, etc.). No fertilizers added in week 1 to encourage root establishment; nutrient introduction in week 2 according to the Plagron schedule adapted for coco (progressive target EC).
- Lighting: Day/night cycle adjusted for the vegetative phase (18/6 likely in week 1).
- Goal: Participate in the Eternity Grow Cup 2 contest aiming for an optimized, healthy, and productive grow.
- Initial Notes: Out of 5 seeds planted, 3 successfully germinated (60% rate). By accident, 2 seeds germinated in the same 1-liter pot; decision made to keep them together and braid them to create a unique structure, promoting a dense canopy and better light penetration. This will add a playful and experimental element to the grow while testing the strain's resilience.
## Week 1: Germination and Establishment (January 18-24, 2026)
### Context and Goals for the Week
This first week marks the beginning of the grow, focused on germination and seedling establishment. The seeds were placed in pre-moistened coco substrate with a low EC solution (0.8-1.0) without added fertilizers, to encourage robust root development without the risk of burn. The base EC comes from adjusted osmosis water with a slight cal-mag buffer if necessary, maintained between 0.8 and 1.0 to simulate a natural environment. The TrolMaster system was set up for precise monitoring, with parameters adjusted for sensitive seedlings (moderate light, high humidity, controlled VPD). The automatic Netadrip irrigation delivers small frequent amounts of water (2-3 cycles per day) to keep the substrate moist without saturation.
Goals: Achieve stable germination, observe the first signs of growth, and prepare for the transition to the vegetative phase in week 2 with the introduction of Plagron nutrients.
### Germination and Plant Observations
- **Day 1-3 (January 18-20):** Seeds of the 5 seeds were planted in 1-liter pots filled with pre-rinsed Plagron coco. Method: Wet paper for initiation, then transfer to substrate. Germination observed in 3 out of 5 seeds by day 3. The two non-germinated seeds were inspected; no signs of viability, potentially due to genetic variability or suboptimal storage. Interesting note: Two seeds accidentally germinated in the same pot (error during transfer). Instead of separating, the decision was made to keep them together to experiment with a braiding technique. This will involve intertwining the main stems once they reach 10-15 cm, promoting a compact structure and better light distribution. The seedlings show bright green cotyledons, with no signs of stress (no yellowing or wilting). Average height: 2-3 cm.
- **Day 4-5 (January 21-22):** The 3 emerging seedlings are developing well. The two in the shared pot show synchronized growth, with visible roots on the surface indicating good rooting. No pests or diseases detected (daily inspection under magnifying glass). The Netadrip irrigation is adjusted to 50-100 ml per pot per cycle to avoid excessive leaching. Runoff EC measured at 0.9-1.0, confirming no salt accumulation.
- **Day 6-7 (January 23-24):** Accelerated growth; first true leaves appear on all seedlings. The duo in the shared pot measures about 5 cm each, ready for light initial braiding next week. Overall, the plants are vigorous, with a healthy green color. No transplanting this week to minimize stress; transition to 5-liter pots planned for week 3 once the roots are established.
### Environmental Parameters (TrolMaster Data Analysis)
Based on screenshots from the TrolMaster app for the "Coco Test" setup (parameters recorded for the week, adjusted for seedlings). Note: CO2 values at 0 ppm likely indicate a disconnected or uncalibrated sensor; in reality, ambient level estimated at 400-500 ppm without supplementation. The "Day" and "Night" columns correspond to light cycles (Day: lit period; Night: dark). These parameters are stable and optimized for the seedling phase in coco, promoting moderate transpiration and effective root absorption.
- **Temperature (°C):**
- Average Day: 23.0 °C (ideal for root growth without thermal stress).
- Average Night: 21.9 °C (slight drop to simulate a natural cycle).
- Max Day: 24.3 °C; Max Night: 22.8 °C.
- Min Day: 21.1 °C; Min Night: 20.4 °C.
Overall stability: Excellent, with variations of 3 °C, avoiding shocks that could slow germination.
- **Humidity (%):**
- Average Day/Night: 69.39% (optimal for seedlings in coco, reducing the risk of mold while maintaining hydration).
- Max Day: 76%; Max Night: 75.3%.
- Min Day: 64.5%; Min Night: 65%.
Observations: Constant humidity, aided by the coco substrate which retains water well. No excessive condensation noted.
- **Light Intensity (PPFD):**
- Average Day: 342.3 PPFD (moderate level for seedlings, avoiding photostress; target 200-400 PPFD in early veg).
- Average Night: 0 PPFD (complete dark cycle).
- Max Day: 361 PPFD; Max Night: 0.
- Min Day: 20 PPFD; Min Night: 0.
Notes: Light adjusted via TrolMaster for uniform distribution; seedlings are responding well without excessive stretching.
- **VPD (kPa):**
- Average Day: 0.86 kPa; Average Night: 0.81 kPa (within the ideal range of 0.8-1.2 for veg in coco, promoting healthy transpiration).
- Max Day: 1.06 kPa; Max Night: 0.97 kPa.
- Min Day: 0.62 kPa; Min Night: 0.6 kPa.
Analysis: Stable VPD, calculated via TrolMaster (based on temp and hum), indicating a balanced environment without risk of deficiencies or over-transpiration.
- **CO2 (ppm):**
- Average Day/Night: 0 ppm (sensor likely inactive; ambient assumed ~400 ppm). No supplementation in week 1.
- **Nutrition and Irrigation:**
- EC: 0.8-1.0 (without Plagron fertilizers; osmosis water + slight buffer). pH solution: 5.8-6.2 (optimal for coco).
- Irrigation: Automatic Netadrip, 2-3 cycles/day, runoff 10-20% to rinse salts. Total volume per pot: ~200-300 ml/week.
- No additives; Plagron schedule will start in week 2 with Cocos A&B at 1.5 ml/L + Power Roots to stimulate roots.
### Issues and Adjustments
- No major issues: Partial germination (3/5), but the viable plants are healthy. The double seeding adds a creative challenge.
- Adjustments: Increased monitoring of runoff pH (target 5.8-6.0) to prevent blockages in coco. Calibration of the CO2 sensor planned for week 2.
### Plans for Week 2
- Gradual introduction of Plagron nutrients (Cocos A&B at EC 1.2-1.4, plus additives like Power Roots and Pure Zym according to schedule: ~1.5 ml/10L A&B, 1 ml/10L Power Roots).
- Continue braiding on the double pot.
- Potential increase of PPFD to 400-500 if vigorous growth.
- Photos of the plants to be added for visual documentation.

## Week 2: Early Vegetative Development (January 25-31, 2026)
### Context and Goals for the Week
This week consolidates vegetative growth after germination. Introduction of Plagron nutrients to boost root and leaf development, with EC gradually increasing from 1.0 to 1.3-1.4 to avoid burns. The TrolMaster system maintains a stable environment, with adjustments for optimal VPD promoting transpiration without water stress. Netadrip irrigation set for short cycles (3 min) delivering ~100 ml per pot, 2-4 times a day, with runoff of 15-20% to flush salts in coco.
Change of plan: The second plant from the shared pot (the weakest, showing growth delay) was removed on day 9 to concentrate energy on the two remaining. Techniques applied: FIM cut (topping at the 4th node to multiply the apex), light LST (bending stems with clips for a flat canopy), and minor defoliation (removal of 2-3 fan leaves to expose emerging secondary branches). Goals: Stimulate a bushy structure, even out light, and prepare for a stress-free transplant in week 3.
### Germination and Plant Observations
- **Days 8-10 (January 25-27):** The two remaining plants show robust growth, with 4-5 visible nodes and a height of 8-10 cm. Removal of the weak plant on day 9: It measured ~4 cm, underdeveloped roots; eliminated to avoid competition. Introduction of Plagron nutrients (Cocos A&B at 1 ml/L, Power Roots 1 ml/L); EC solution at 1.2, pH 5.9. No signs of deficiency (uniform green leaves). Irrigation increased to 3 cycles/day to support growth.
- **Days 11-12 (January 28-29):** Accelerated growth post-nutrients; new leaves emerging. FIM applied on day 11: Precise topping above the 4th node to encourage 4-6 new apical shoots. Light LST initiated: Stems bent at 45° with soft ties to expose secondary sites. Minor defoliation: Removal of shading basal leaves to stimulate lower branches. Plants responding well, no wilting. Height: 10-12 cm; roots visible on the surface, indicating good rooting in coco.

Irrigation refined for a wet-dry balance: Shots of 150-200 ml (~6% substrate moisture) every hour (6-12 per day), followed by a 15% dry back to stimulate roots and prevent pathologies. Lighting optimized with sunrise/sunset simulation (gradual ramp) + 30 min IR (infrared) overlapping the main lights for a full spectrum and natural transition.
Techniques: Intensified LST (bending and tying for a flat canopy), selective defoliation (removal of shading leaves to stimulate secondary branches), and installation of a first trellis to limit height to 15 cm and promote a bushy structure. Goals: Achieve a span of 35 cm with 5 solid nodes, with no signs of issues (stable pH, slightly lower runoff EC indicating effective absorption). BAC foliar spray scheduled on day 20 for additional prevention.
### Plant Observations
- **Days 15-17 (February 1-3):** Plants transplanted into 5-liter pots; quick recovery with no transplant stress (dense and white roots covering ~70% of initial volume). Robust growth: Height 12-15 cm, span 25-30 cm. LST and minor defoliation applied to expose lower nodes; healthy leaves (span 14-16 cm, petiole 7-8 cm). No signs of deficiency or excess (runoff EC 1.4-1.5, slightly lower than input for optimal absorption). Irrigation: 6-8 shots/day, 15% dry back measured via TrolMaster (average moisture 67%).
- **Days 18-19 (February 4-5):** Accelerated development; 5-node structure visible, with vigorous secondary branches due to previous FIM. ## Week 4: Advanced Vegetative Growth (February 8-14, 2026)
### Context and Objectives of the Week
This week marks the end of the intensive vegetative phase, with preparation for the planned 12/12 switch in a few days. Plagron nutrition pushed to EC 2.0-2.5 (Cocos A&B 2.5-3 ml/L, stable additives) to support increased biomass, with tank pH maintained at 5.8. Irrigation refined: Cycles of 2 min/h × 14 (total ~2.8-3.5 L/pot/day), 15% dry back for oxygenation and prevention of root pathologies. Lighting optimized for high DLI, promoting maximum photosynthesis without stress.
Techniques: Selective defoliation (removal of shading leaves for aeration), FIM to multiply colas, LST relaxed (loosened ties for natural growth while maintaining a flat canopy). Cloning planned to preserve potentially elite phenotypes. Objectives: Maximize pre-flower vigor, with significant defoliation to come (removal of everything below the first trellis to concentrate energy on upper buds). EC/pH runoff slightly lower than input, indicating effective absorption without buildup.
### Plant Observations
- **Day 22-24 (February 8-10):** Vigorous plants, span ~40-45 cm, height restrained to 18-20 cm by trellis. Minor defoliation and FIM confirmed; LST relaxed to allow lateral extension without excessive constraint. Dense, white roots (inspection via transparent pot). EC runoff 1.8-2.2 (slightly below input), stable pH 5.7-5.9. Irrigation: 14 shots/day, 15% dry back measured (moisture drops to ~60% before recharge). No signs of stress; deep green leaves, span 18-20 cm.
- **Day 25-26 (February 11-12):** Explosive growth; structure at 6-7 nodes, robust secondary branches thanks to FIM. Complete LST relaxation for flower preparation; additional defoliation for light penetration. Cloning initiated on day 25: Apical cuttings taken, placed in propagator with Power Roots. Stable VPD, promoting healthy transpiration. Runoff analysis: EC slightly lower (optimal NPK absorption), stable pH without drift.
- **Day 27-28 (February 13-14):** Plants ready for switch; span 45-50 cm, height 20 cm. Last light defoliation; everything is healthy, no pests or deficiencies. Plans for significant defoliation post-switch: Removal of leaves/branches under trellis to focus on tops. Clones rooted ~20%, to be monitored.
### Environmental Parameters (TrolMaster Data Analysis)
Based on TrolMaster captures for "Coco Test" (averages week 4, days 22-28) and live dashboard (February 15, 2026), with graphs showing stable trends over 24h/week. CO2 not measured (ambient ~400-500 ppm; target 900 not reached). Increased PPFD for target DLI 35.
- **Temperature (°C):**
- Average Day: 25.2 °C (dashboard 25.8, target 26 for end of veg).
- Average Night: 23.1 °C.
- Max Day: 26.5 °C; Max Night: 24.3 °C.
- Min Day: 22.8 °C; Min Night: 21.7 °C.

- Goal: Optimize flowering for the competition; clones taken for preservation.
- Updates: 2 plants; generative steering applied to focus on buds. Attached photos show graphs (stability pH/EC/temp/humidity with visible dry back cycles), parameters week 5, flo setpoints (temp 27/25°C, hum 70/65%, CO2 900/500 PPM), live dashboard (night: temp 22.5°C, hum 67.3%, VPD 0.89, PPFD 0, pH 5.84, EC 2.07, moist 36%).
## Week 5: First Week of Flowering (February 15-21, 2026)
### Context and Goals for the Week
Switch to 12/12 completed on day 29 to initiate flowering, marking the transition to generative steering: Reduced runoff (10-15% vs 20% in veg), lower target VWC (~30-40% average for light water stress), and increased dry back (20-25% to stimulate roots and buds). Nutrition adjusted to EC 2.0-2.5 to support initial stretch without over-fertilization, stable pH at 5.8. Lighting raised (lamp height ~90-100 cm anticipated) to accommodate rapid growth.
Techniques: Heavy defoliation and lollipop on day 30 (removal of leaves/branches under the trellis to concentrate energy on tops; educational tips below). Clones taken (cuttings in propagator with Power Roots). Goals: Manage vigorous stretch (~20-30% height increase), observe pre-flowers, maintain health without pests. Runoff EC/pH slightly lower (increased absorption in flo).
**Educational Tips on Defoliation and Lollipop:**
- **Defoliation:** Selective removal of leaves to improve air circulation, light penetration, and reduce humidity (mold prevention). In early flo, target 20-30% of shading leaves; avoid over-stressing (recovery 2-3 days). Benefits: Better photosynthesis at bud sites, yield +10-20% if done well.
- **Lollipop:** "Cleaning" the bottom of the plant (removal of lower branches/leaves under the trellis) to focus on upper colas. Ideal in week 1 flo; increases bud quality (less popcorn), improves airflow. Tip: Cut gradually, sterilize tools; observe response (if wilting, reduce intensity).
### Plant Observations
- **Day 29-31 (February 15-17):** Switch 12/12; strong growth, stretch initiated (height +10-15 cm). Heavy defoliation/lollipop on day 30: Removal of ~40% lower foliage, focus on upper canopy. Strong plant measures 53 cm tall × 50 cm wide; the other ~48×45 cm. Clones taken (3-4 cuttings/plant). Generative steering: Less runoff, low VWC (moist ~36% average), dry back 20%; roots responding well (white, dense).
- **Day 32-33 (February 18-19):** Vigorous stretch (+5-8 cm/day); visible pre-flowers (white pistils). Lights raised to 90 cm for PPFD uniformity. Robust plants, deep green; rooted clones ~30%. No issues (IPM maintained).
- **Day 34-35 (February 20-21):** Max height 53 cm; width 50 cm. Strong growth requires daily monitoring; bud sites swelling. Effective steering: Increased nutrient absorption (runoff EC ~1.8-2.2).

- **Jour 36-38 (22-24 février) :** Stretch vigoureux ; plante strong atteint 80 cm haut × 55 cm large (l'autre ~75×50 cm). Buds sites gonflés, pistils abondants. Pulvérisation Boom Boom Spray : Réponse positive (feuilles plus vertes, vigueur accrue). Ajout CalMag/silice : Pas de carence visible (préventif réussi). Plantes saines, sans nuisibles (IPM efficace). GrowOps IA suggère baisse RH pour VPD optimal ; implémenté.

Sadhus ## Week 3: Third Week of Flowering (March 4-10, 2026)
**Note: Update is 2 days late due to intensive monitoring of parameters via GrowOps and TrolMaster for precise optimization.**
### Context and Goals for the Week
Third week of flowering with a focus on generative steering to boost bud formation. Reduced runoff, low VWC for controlled water stress, increased dry back promoting dense buds. Stable nutrition with the start of integrating Green Sensation (Plagron) to enhance flowering, Enzymes (Plagron) for root decomposition, plus CalMag (0.5-1 ml/L) and silica (0.5 ml/L) for stem/cell robustness. Foliar spray Boom Boom Spray (Biotabs) on day 36 to boost bio-stimulants (amino acids, natural hormones) and improve foliar absorption. No physical intervention on plants (rest post-lollipop). Integration of GrowOps AI: App analyzes TrolMaster data in real-time, suggests optimizations (e.g., lowering nighttime RH for ideal VPD, deficiency alerts via photos). Goals: Manage final stretch (+20 cm/week), observe bud formation, maintain generative steering.
**Educational Text on Crop Steering:**
Crop steering is an advanced cannabis cultivation technique that involves "guiding" the plant's growth by alternating between vegetative phases (leaf growth, roots) and generative phases (flowering, dense buds) through environmental and irrigation adjustments. In generative steering (like this week), we apply moderate water stress: pronounced dry back (20-25% VWC), short/rare irrigation to push the plant towards reproduction (more compact, resinous buds). Conversely, vegetative steering promotes growth through frequent/wet irrigations. This optimizes yield by manipulating VPD, EC, light (DLI 30 for flowering). Advantages: Better stretch control, increased resin/terpenes, without excessive stress. Based on sensory data (like TrolMaster), it's ideal for hydro/coco grows like here. Next week: Smooth transition to vegetative steering for balance.
### Plant Observations
- **Days 36-38 (March 4-6):** Vigorous stretch; strong plant reaches 1.20m tall x 55 cm wide (the other ~80x50 cm). Bud sites swollen, abundant pistils. Boom Boom Spray application: Positive response (greener leaves, increased vigor). Addition of Green Sensation/Enzymes: No visible deficiencies (successful preventive). Healthy plants, no pests (effective IPM). GrowOps AI suggests lowering RH for optimal VPD; implemented.
- **Days 39-40 (March 7-8):** Strong growth (+5-7 cm/day); dense canopy post-lollipop. Clones rooted ~50% (vigorous, ready for transplanting). No intervention; monitoring via GrowOps (AI alerts on low VWC for generative).
- **Days 41-42 (March 9-10):** Max height 1.20m; formed buds, early resin. Excellent health, deep green; generative steering boosts density. Flowers starting to show clearly, no pests. Plants in great shape, no signs of stress, deficiency, or excess.
### Environmental Parameters (TrolMaster Data Analysis)
Based on captures week 5/6 (days 31-35, but extended to week 3 via graphs 02/23-03/01). **Week 4: Fourth Week of Flowering (March 11-17, 2026)**
### Context and Goals for the Week
We are fully entering the **bulk phase** (mass swelling of the buds). Smooth transition from generative steering to vegetative steering: slightly higher runoff, reduced dry back (15-20% VWC), slightly more frequent irrigations, and more stable VWC.
**Why this change?** The generative steering from weeks 1-3 forced the final stretch and initiated bud density through controlled water stress. In the bulk phase, vegetative steering maximizes nutrient absorption, cell expansion, and flower volume without limiting weight gain. GrowOps AI confirms this transition (VWC + VPD alerts).
**Little Educational Course: New Leaves and Small Buds Growing on Fan Leaves**
What you're observing ("leaves growing on leaves" + small buds on fan leaves) is a phenomenon of very vigorous growth, sometimes called "leaf-on-leaf growth" or local expression of foxtailing on the foliage.
Instead of focusing solely on the buds, the plant, boosted by vegetative steering + Sugar Royal + PK 13-14 + Green Sensation + enzymes, is producing new small leaves (and sometimes tiny floral structures) directly on the existing large fan leaves.
This is **positive** here: a sign of abundant energy, good uptake, and excellent health. The Sticky Broccoli genetics (indica-dominant but vigorous) can express this in bulk when conditions are optimal. Unlike stressed foxtailing (too much heat/light), this remains moderate and accompanies good bud swelling. We generally let it evolve (it increases local photosynthesis), but we monitor to avoid excess that could dilute the energy of the main flowers.
### Plant Observations
- **Day 43-45 (March 11-13):** The most beautiful plant goes from 1.20m to **1.40m** tall × 60 cm wide (the other ~95×50 cm). Appearance of new small leaves and structures on the fan leaves, in addition to the visible swelling of the buds. Abundant white pistils, early shiny resin.
- **Day 46-47 (March 14-15):** Strong bulk growth (+4-6 cm/day). Dense canopy, 70% rooted clones (ready for transplanting). Added Sugar Royal + PK 13-14: explosive response (increased vigor).
- **Day 48-49 (March 16-17):** Plants in great shape, zero pests, zero signs of stress, deficiency, or excess. Deep green, excellent health. Visible vegetative steering: fatter buds and densification in progress.
### Environmental Parameters (TrolMaster + GrowOps Analysis)
Very stable graphs (March 14-15). Active CO₂ enrichment (900 ppm day / 500 night).
- **Temperature (°C):** Average Day 23.4 °C | Night 20.4 °C | Max Day 25.5 °C | Min Day 19.6 °C
- **Humidity (%):** Average Day 64.27% | Night 60.37% | Max Day 70% | Min Day 60.6%
- **PPFD:** Average Day 756.9 (max 837)
- **DLI:** ≈ 32.7 mol/m²/day (optimal bulk)
- **VPD:** Average Day 1.03 kPa (stable and ideal)

Sadhus **Week 5: Fifth Week of Flowering – Bulking Phase (March 18-24, 2026)**
**Note:** Update is a few days late, but the TrolMaster + GrowOps data shows excellent stability and a successful transition into pure bulking.
### Context and Objectives for the Week
Week 5 = full entry into **bulking**. The stretch is over, energy is now massively redirected towards swelling the buds, producing trichomes, and accumulating mass/resin.
Steering: **confirmed vegetative** (frequent irrigations, runoff 20-30%, controlled dryback but less aggressive than during the stretch, VWC more stable).
Main objective: maximize the volume and density of the buds while maintaining perfect health until the peak of resin (weeks 6-8).
**Quick educational point + tips on the end of the stretch and transition to bulking**
- **End of the stretch:** for most hybrid/indica-dominant varieties like Sticky Broccoli, the stretch stops or slows down significantly between the end of week 3 and mid-week 5. Here, only +10 cm this week (vs +20 cm/week before) → this is **perfectly normal and desirable**. The plant has finished stretching its internodes and is switching to "filling" mode.
- **Why the buds are swelling now + trichomes are appearing:**
The combination of vegetative steering + EC 2.6-2.95 + PK 13/14 + Sugar Royal + Green Sensation + enzymes + CO₂ 900 ppm + DLI 32 + UV 45 min/day creates a hyper-favorable environment for cell division and the biosynthesis of cannabinoids/terpenes. Trichomes (resin glands) start to multiply and swell from week 5 in resinous genetics. This is the moment when you really see the plant "thickening."
- **Concrete tips to maximize bulking:**
- Don’t raise the EC too quickly (3.2-3.4 risks slight lockout in coco)
- Keep VPD day 0.9-1.2 kPa and night 0.8-1.1 → optimal transpiration without stress
- Gradually increase UV (45 → 90 min/day in week 6) to boost terpenes and THC
- Monitor runoff pH (ideal 5.8-6.2) → if it drops below 5.7, a slight pH solution increase of 0.1-0.2
- Photos every 2-3 days to early detect any lower yellowing or leaf tip browning
### Plant Observations
- **Dominant plant:** has clearly taken over. Current height **~1.5m** (only +10 cm this week). Stretch is over, very large and airy structure, dense canopy but well-penetrated by light.
- **Buds:** starting to really swell, calyxes are thickening, first trichomes visible to the naked eye on the upper buds (slight sugary shine). Pistils still mostly white but starting to curl slightly.
- **Overall vigor:** excellent, deep green, no visible deficiencies, no burn, no pests. The secondary plant is smaller but keeping up well. Clones still very healthy.
- Zero signs of stress, plants are in great shape and focused on floral filling.
### Environmental Parameters (TrolMaster + GrowOps – summary March 18-22)
- **Day temperature:** 23-25 °C (current target 23-25, leaf temp ~24-27)
- **Night temperature:** 18-20 °C (target 18-20)
- **Day humidity:** 64-74% → gradual decrease towards 60-70 by the end of the week
- **Night humidity:** 49-59%
- **VPD:** 0.8-1.2 kPa day/night (stable and optimal for bulking)
- **Average PPFD:** ~733-750 (max ~814) → DLI ~32 mol/m²/day (perfect)
- **UV:** 45 min/day (planned +45 min in week 6)
- **CO₂:** setpoint 900 ppm day (not measured precisely but active)
- **EC solution:** 2.6-2.95 mS/cm (recent slight drop to 2.6)
- **pH solution:** 5.8-6.0 (runoff 5.8-6.2)
- **Irrigation:** Frequent, 20-30% daily runoff
- **Steering:** Vegetative (confirmed)
- **Night dryback:** 8-12% (very controlled)
### Issues and Adjustments
No major issues.
- Slight EC feed drop (from ~3.0-3.4 → 2.6): intentional to avoid accumulation in coco during the peak of bulking.
- Day temperature a bit high at times (25-27 leaf) → monitor to avoid residual stretch or excessive transpiration.
- UV at 45 min → good increase planned for week 6.
### Plans for Week 6
- Continue vegetative steering + possible slight EC/PK bump if buds seem to slow down.
- Increase UV to 90 min/day.
- Slight selective defoliation (leaves that really block light on lower buds).
- Close-up photos to track trichomes and swelling.
- Prepare mother clones if final selection.
This journal will be updated weekly.

Sadhus **Semaine 6 : Sixième Semaine de Floraison – Phase Bulking (25-31 mars 2026)**
**Note :** Mise à jour hebdomadaire complète.
- **Température jour** : 20-23 °C (moyenne live 23.3 °C, cible 24 °C)

**Note :** Mise à jour hebdomadaire.
- **Température jour** : 23-25 °C (moyenne live ~23.3 °C, cible 24 °C)
- **Température nuit** : 18-20 °C
- **Humidité jour** : 64-74 % (live ~58.9 %, cible 62 %)
- **Humidité nuit** : 49-59 %
- **VPD** : 0.8-1.2 kPa (live 0.94 kPa → idéal pour bulking)
- **PPFD moyen** : 750-777 (max ~814) → DLI 32 mol/m²/jour (optimal)
- **UV Light** : 90 min/jour (maintenu)
- **Far Red Light** : 30 min en fin de cycle
- **CO₂** : setpoint 900 ppm jour (enrichment actif)

### Problèmes et Ajustements
**RAS total.**

**Note :** Mise à jour hebdomadaire.
- **Température jour** : 19-21 °C (cible 20 °C, live 20.3 °C)
- **Température nuit** : 14-15 °C (baisse nette pour ripening)
- **Humidité jour** : 48-58 % (cible 55 %, live 51.5 %)
- **Humidité nuit** : 29-39 %
- **VPD** : 0.9-1.3 kPa (live 1.16 kPa → bien adapté au ripening)
- **PPFD** : 550 (baisse progressive, DLI ~24)
- **UV Light** : 90 min/jour (maintenu)
- **Far Red Light** : 30 min en fin de cycle
- **CO₂** : setpoint 900 ppm jour
- **EC solution** : 1.5 mS/cm (live ~1.62)
- **pH solution** : 5.8-6.0 (live 6.27)
- **Runoff EC** : 2.5-3 mS/cm
- **Irrigation** : moins fréquente (transition générative)
- **Runoff % daily** : 20-30 %
- Cocos A + B
- CANNA PK 13/14 (dose légère)
- Green Sensation suprimer
- Pure Zym suprimer
- Sugar Royal suprimer
- Cal-Mag Amino 1 ml
- Silica Force 1 ml

Sadhus **Semaine 9 : Neuvième Semaine de Floraison – Phase Ripening Avancé (15-21 avril 2026)**
**Note :** Mise à jour hebdomadaire.
- **Translucides** : encore immatures (ils vont blanchir)

Sadhus **Semaine 10 : Dixième et Dernière Semaine de Floraison – Late Flower / Récolte (22-28 avril 2026)**
**Note :** Fin du cycle pour cette culture.
Very nice strain! Big frost, ultra-sticky and resinous buds, with a really pleasant sweet-spicy smell. The stretch is reasonable and the structure is compact.
Fresh weight ~780 g, estimated dry weight around 190-210 g. Excellent trichome quality (mostly milky with some amber).
Small downside: the buds are a bit smaller than I expected, but the density and resin more than make up for it. Perfect for premium flower or hash (dry sift / Ice-o-Lator).
I recommend it if you're looking for a resinous and flavorful indica dominant. Clean cycle, good vigor.
Rating: **8.5/10**

Sadhus **Week Harvest: Final Harvest – Sticky Broccoli (April 28, 2026)**
**Note:** End of the Eternity Grow Cup 2 cycle. Harvest completed in week 10 of flowering (slightly early). The entire grow diary is now complete.
### Context and Cycle Summary
After 10 weeks of flowering (week 14 overall), the harvest was triggered due to a botrytis outbreak on another plant in the same space. I could have waited a few more days to let the amber trichomes mature a bit more, but safety comes first.
The dominant plant (150 cm) produced a beautiful qualitative yield, with dense, extremely frosty, and resinous buds.
**Fresh weight: about 780 grams** (total wet weight of trimmed buds, excluding the large stems).
Update expected in 2 weeks for the **final dry weight** after a good curing.
### Harvest Observations
- **Buds:** Dense and compact, very sticky. Exceptional trichome coverage (mostly milky with some amber heads). The sugar aspect is stunning, the buds literally shine.
- **Smell:** Very pleasant, sweet, spicy, and floral, typical of Sticky Broccoli. Powerful even after the flush.
- **Resin:** Extremely resinous to the touch – perfect for dry sift or a little Ice-o-Lator.
- **Structure:** Nice overall density, even though the individual bud size remains on the higher end for the variety (not the biggest I’ve seen, but the trichome quality more than compensates).
- **Health:** Clean plants until the end, no visible deficiencies. The flush in the last 3 days (EC 0.7) helped a lot to clean the salts.
**Clones:** A few clones taken several weeks earlier were successfully repotted into their new system. They are well-rooted and ready to start a new vegetative/flowering cycle. The genetics are preserved!
### End of Cycle Parameters (week 10)
- Day/Night Temperature: 19-21 °C / 14-15 °C
- Humidity: 48-58% day / 29-39% night
- VPD: 0.9-1.3 kPa
- PPFD: 550 (DLI 24)
- UV: 90 min/day
- Final EC: 1.0 then flush to 0.7 (Terra Aquatica only)
- pH: 5.8-6.0
- Steering: generative until the end
- 48h blackout before harvest: applied to boost resin and improve trichome quality.
### Post-Harvest Plans
- **Drying:** 7-10 days at 18-20 °C and 55-60% humidity in a dark, ventilated space.
- **Curing:** Minimum 2-3 weeks in jars (regular burping) to refine the terpenes and smoothness. Update in 2 weeks with the final dry weight.
- **Usage:** Part for dried/cured flowers, and a small batch for **dry sift** + **Ice-o-Lator** (bubble hash) to enjoy the exceptional resin of this Sticky Broccoli.
**Final Educational Tip: The flush and blackout at the end of the cycle**
- **Flush** (last 3 days at very low EC): Helps eliminate accumulated salts and significantly improves the final taste (less chemistry, more pure terpenes).
- **48h blackout:** Simple but effective technique that slightly stresses the plant positively, increasing resin production and trichome clarity just before cutting.
It was a very nice cycle, clean and educational despite the interruption due to botrytis. The resin quality and smell more than compensate. Thanks to Zamnesia and Plagron for the gear!
**#GrowLegendary #Zamnesia #Plagron #EternityGrowCup2 #StickyBroccoli**
In 2 weeks I will update with the dry weight and first impressions after curing.
**Estimated Final Dry Weight**
With **780 grams of fresh weight** (wet buds, after initial trim but before complete drying), here’s a realistic estimate for this Sticky Broccoli:
### Reasonable Estimate
- **Expected dry weight:** **180 to 230 grams** (about **23-30%** of fresh weight).
**Why this range?**
- Fresh buds typically contain 70-80% water.
- After good drying (down to 10-12% residual humidity) + curing, usually **20-30%** of the initial wet weight remains.
- 20% → **156 g** (low estimate, if buds are very dense or drying is pushed)
- 25% → **195 g** (average estimate, most common for compact buds like yours)
- 30% → **234 g** (high estimate, if the buds retain a bit more moisture or are particularly resinous)
Your buds being described as **dense, very sticky, and frosty**, I would lean more towards the **middle/high of the range**: **190-220 grams** once well dried and cured.
### Factors That Will Influence the Final Result
- **Drying Quality:** Temperature 18-20 °C, humidity 50-60%, good air circulation without direct wind → gradual and uniform water loss.
- **Trim:** If you did a tight wet trim, the dry weight will be a bit lower than if you left more sugar leaves.
- **Bud Density:** The more compact and resinous they are, the less relative weight they lose (but they sometimes dry a bit slower).
- **Curing:** During the 2-4 weeks in jars, you will lose a bit more moisture, but the weight will stabilize.
### Next Steps
1. **Drying:** 7-10 days until the stems snap clean (not bendable).
2. **Curing:** Minimum 2 weeks (ideally 4+) with daily burping at the beginning.
3. **Final Weighing:** Once the weight stabilizes (after 2 weeks of curing),
**Week 10: Tenth and Final Week of Flowering – Late Flower / Harvest (April 22-28, 2026)**
**Note:** End of the cycle for this grow. Early harvest due to a botrytis outbreak on another plant in the same space. GrowOps data confirms a clean cycle end despite the interruption.
### Context and Objectives for the Week
Week 10 of 14: we were in **late ripening**. The goal was to finalize the maturation of the buds, densify the trichomes, and prepare for the flush.
Steering: **generative maintained** until the end, with a gradual decrease in parameters (night temperature 14-15 °C, humidity 29-39%, PPFD 550, EC 1.0).
The last 3 days: **flush clean** at EC 0.7 (pure water + minimal Terra Aquatica) to eliminate salts and improve the final taste.
**Little educational tip: Botrytis (gray mold) and management at the end of the cycle**
Botrytis is a fungus that loves humid, poorly ventilated environments and dense ripening buds. It often appears as gray/brown spots with fuzz.
**Prevention**:
- Lower night humidity (
