Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of flowering. Things are going good this week. I see a few yellow leaves on the bottom which is normal. It smells like sweet candied mango in here. Wonderful or should I say Delicious!! I am seeing some small, Thrips signs, on a few leaves, but nothing to worry about. They are over their trimming/pruning up stress now and are bulking up. I see the resin is in full production now. They are getting small amounts of food each day from the hydroponic system. And I hand watered with rain water yesterday. Each plant got 2 gallons. The reservoir lasts 6 days and 7 if I add the dehumidifier water to the reservoir daily. Easy Peasy. I read this article on hypochlorous acid and wanted to make my own rather than buy stuff to kill pests and handle fungus. I now have something I can whip up in 1 hour that can handle most problems I deal with inside and outside. The article said to use it at 1/2 strength inside and I would put plastic over the pots to keep it off the roots. Sounds good. We'll see. Be Great. Chuck.

Hi Growmies, Luckily she has made full recovery, in the tank below and up top :). OST of the root growth I. Observing, I would attribute to the combination of orca, rhizotonic and cannazym. Mainly the orca though ;). I will minimum give her 1–2 more weeks max until I flip her, as it feels like she should have a fairly short flowering phase. Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. I need to flush them and lay off the base nutes a bit. Week 4 for the sugar bombs 😁 another 4 or 5 weeks to go (depending on the phenotype) but we will notice when she's ready in the later flowering, for the rest everything is going quite good in my opinion, for now i must say that its a quite stable strain, no signs of nanners or any other trouble after applied HST which is good news!

Starting to stretch after 1 week flowering.

Every plants are all good health I decided to bloom 100%

She is fully in flower now and starting to stretch. She wasn't very thirsty, she only needed 2,4l of water this whole week. I again used 4ml of biobizz grow and bloom. I also removed a few leaves to make sure that every budsite gets enough sunlight, other ones I just tucked away.

These ladies were heavy yielding - just wish the PK booster did not stunt them, I feel they could have even been larger, the buds are sweet and sticky, they smell amazing, they are hard and resinous - they have a beautiful mix of dark and light shades of green with bright orange hairs, very pretty, my friends are already in love with this weed, hits you like a Sativa and as the high lingers mellows like an Indica, I can't, wait to grow this again! The is an urban legend that occasionally a purple strain emerges, and when it does the outcome is legendary, just another reason to try this strain!

This was a great grow and only my second one so far. I am starting to figure out more about my setup and just keep learning things. My final harvest weights were more than I expected and I couldn't be happier!

04/09/24. Time to start week 7. Not much to say other than about the girls themselves. I haven’t changed anything other than I think I’ve given them the last feed yesterday. I’m thinking they’ll be done within 2 weeks and I’ve read that it’s best to give water the last 2 weeks. Hope this is the right thing to do. The buds are thickening up and the pistols are getting pretty dark and starting to recede.. well.. on two of the girls that seem the most similar to each other. The middle plants much frostier, smellier, and skinnier buds- with lighter pistols. All are becoming colorful. It’s smelling very spicy with like rotting fruit or something currently. The smells very strong through the house. I don’t think these will be the biggest buds, but they are definitely dense af and lovely and smelly.. oh and sooo sticky wew Guess that’s it until the start of week 8 flower. We’re gettin close! My video for the week won’t load up for some reason. Idk what the problem is. Update: don’t be an idiot and run out of space on your phone. I made space and it uploaded LOL. Derrrrrrr

Welcome! Week 7 flower! I'm dying in anticipation. Part of me just wants to stare at it forever, because I'm pretty sure the color will get darker when its dried Pistols are turning orange top, so getting closer. I took a few videos this time. One shows the Mars Hydro lights, and my tents I'm using. The other is the best I could do to capture the beauty of this plant. I wish I had a tent full of only her. I cut way back on nutes, I only plan to feed one more time and will be checking the trichome color next week.
