Happy to see the plants taking off. Watering has not been an issue with the hot weather. Give them as much as they will take every 2-3 days. Gave them kelp meal (1tsp/gallon of soil) and some worm castings this week--about a handful worm castings per pot--dry amendments are very gentle and forgiving in soil. Fems: Both identified growing solo in 30 gallon fabric pots. Not pulling the 1st female much. I did gently set her under a small tomato cage slightly. 2nd female is growing regular--no pull--no pinch--nada!--just straight up. Males--As far as the male count--currently 6 males have been removed from the grow area.

25 Sep 2021 Today I’m starting Week 12 of this grow, and I couldn’t be happier. My 3 Ladies are looking great! I’m not seeing any negative signs that they’re not loving the increased nutrients. 👍🏻 so far, so good. I’ve moved up to step 7 of my 6 - part Flora Trio feed chart. It doesn’t change anything, so I figured I might as well. They will be getting the same amount they received the last feeding. They received: CALiMAGic 2ml, FloraMicro 3.8ml, FloraGro 3.8ml, FloraBloom 4.2ml, Floralicious Plus 2ml, and Liquid KoolBloom 1ml. The initial pH of all 3 gallons was 6.2. I added 2.2ml of pH UP to each gallon which adjusted the pH to 6.7 in all 3 gallons. The runoff ph was different for each (of course). C1 was 5.8, C2 was 6.0, and C3 was 5.7. 🤷‍♂️ Everything is going great, so…… If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. I read an article about “popcorn buds” yesterday, and the importance of pruning them to get the main colas to fatten up better. I figured I’d give it a try, why not. Most of the popcorn buds go into the trim bag anyway, so why not, what do I have to lose? Hopefully not my perfectly healthy plants! The worry is hurting the plants more than helping them. I trimmed all of the small, lower branches off, as well as many of the smaller branches in the middle that don’t really receive any direct light. The stack was quite big once I was finished. You can see it on the video log I uploaded today. The temperature in the grow tent today was 84F, with humidity at 54%. I have the best of hope for a wonderful grow, but I just hope that they respond well to all of the trimming I’ve done today. We’ll have to just wait and see. Happy growing Growmies! 28 Sep 2021 What’s up Growmies! I have good news…. My plants are still alive and doing well! I was a little nervous after the last feeding and pruning session, but my babies are doing quite well. The last three days have shown an absolute explosion in pistil development all over all 3 plants! Some of the nodes are showing white and pink pistils, and their growth is lovely. They seem to be responding well to the full nutrient levels, but there are some mild signs of nutrient burn, but only on a few leaves. Most of the plants are still looking marvelous. I’m very happy with how they’re growing and to how they have responded to my trimming 3 days ago. I haven’t changed anything in their feeding from last time, so I’m just going to list it out here for you all to see. They each received the same amount in their own gallon of water. Each plant took the whole gallon, and the runoff was as expected. Each plant received: CALiMAGic 2ml, FloraMicro 3.8ml, FloraGro 3.8ml, FloraBloom 4.2ml, Floralicious Plus 2ml, and Liquid KoolBloom 1ml. The initial pH for all 3 was: 6.2, so I added 2.2ml’s of pH UP to each gallon which adjusted the pH to 6.7 for all 3 as well. My new TDS meter will be here Friday, so all I have for the runoff is the pH. C1 was 5.8, C2 was 6.0, and C3 was 5.6. I’m going to stop fretting over the runoff pH because it really doesn’t seem to matter a whole lot. However, I’ll still keep track of it nonetheless. The temperature in the tent today was 84F, and the humidity was 48%. See you in a couple days. Happy growing! 01 Oct 2021 Today I finally received my new TDS meter, and it stopped working after the first use! I was like, “Damn! WTF!!” For real, no bullshit. It sucks. Anyway; I just felt like sharing my woes with you all. Most likely it’s just me typing to myself. Today my lovely ladies got the same that they’ve been getting for the past couple weeks. CALiMAGic 2ml, FloraMicro 3.8ml, FloraGro 3.8ml, FloraBloom 4.2ml, Floralicious Plus 2ml, and Liquid KoolBloom 1ml. The initial pH of all 3 was 6.2. I added 2.2ml’s of pH UP to each gallon which adjusted the pH to 6.7 for all 3. The one time my new TDS meter worked, the TDS of C1 was 711 ppm. It stopped working after that. The runoff pH was C1 - 5.8, C2 - 6.1, and C3 - 5.7. The temperature in the tent was 84F, and humidity was 47%. My girls are looking wonderful, but there is some nutrient burn as I mentioned the other day. It hasn’t increased, which is good, but some of the larger fan leaves look like they’re losing a little color. The pistils all over the buds are growing even more, and the light pink hairs are now becoming numerous. They’re very pretty and look healthy. I’m smoking their Mother right now, which gives me happy thoughts for a wonderful harvest of her children soon to come. 😍🤞 I moved them all out of the tent briefly today for some cleanup and repositioning. They look good standing alone as much as when they’re together. I moved the fans around to give them more space and to improve ventilation and light distribution. I also did some LST on C1 and C2. I tied some of their longer, yet lower branches up to make them look up to the light instead of being toward the side. 🤷‍♂️ we’ll see if it makes a difference or not. Today is the last day of week 12. See you in 13. Take care, and happy growing.

Week 1 Flower – Roller Coster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) Lights Flipped, Ride Ascending The ride has shifted — welcome to Week 1 of Flower for the Roller Coster Haze girls. We’ve officially flipped the lights to 11 hours on / 13 hours off, marking the start of their journey into bloom. While they’re not showing any floral signs just yet (no pistils or preflowers), this moment is crucial, it’s the beginning of the shift, and everything that follows builds from here. ⸻ Why 11/13 Light Cycle? Most growers run 12/12 — and while that’s great for many strains, we’ve chosen 11/13 for a specific reason: 🌒 Shortening the light period can help trigger earlier flowering and more aggressive hormonal shifts, particularly in sativa-dominant or haze genetics like these. 🌘 In nature, light hours gradually decrease, and this slightly shorter photoperiod mimics late-season sun, signaling to the plant that it’s time to reproduce. In our experience, this encourages a quicker transition into flower, sometimes with denser stacking and better resin development down the line. The trade-off? Slightly less daily photosynthesis, but with the right lighting power and nutrition, it more than balances out. ⸻ Nutrient Shift – From Start to Top As we flip into flower, we’ve also transitioned our nutrient formula to support the shift in energy: • Removed: • Aptus Start Booster – previously used to support early-stage root development and vegetative vigor. • Introduced: • Aptus Top Booster – same application rate (0.25 ml/L), but designed to stimulate early flower development, improve transition timing, and lay the groundwork for bloom stacking. Why this change? Because the hormonal shift has begun. We’re no longer supporting root initiation, now we’re priming the plant for floral identity, helping her internal systems prepare for the stretch, calyx development, and bloom site stacking. Our base feed remains: • Regulator – 0.25 ml/L • CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L • All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml/L • Top Booster – 0.25 ml/L ⸻ Growth & Structure Update These girls are branching like mad, spreading their wings and showing incredible vegetative structure just before stretch kicks in. Both phenotypes are looking stunning: • Pheno #2 & Pheno #3 • ~55 cm in height • Both with 8+ nodes, symmetrical branching, and healthy internode spacing. • Deep green leaves, upright posture, and zero signs of stress or deficiency. We’re expecting these girls to stretch considerably in the coming weeks, and we’re ready for the ride. ⸻ Environmental Snapshot – The Summer Stretch Begins Despite high temps, the girls are thriving. Here’s a readout of current conditions: • PPFD: 760 µmol/m²/s – measured via TrolMaster MBS PAR sensor, ensuring accurate canopy-level intensity. • Temperature: 31°C • Humidity: 50% • VPD: 2.23 kPa – yes, on the high side, but manageable for the moment. • CO₂: 632 ppm We’re aware that VPD is a touch aggressive, and we’re standing by for the arrival of the new AC unit to bring that back into optimal range. Still, the girls are handling it like champions, no curl, no droop, just upward movement and new growth. ⸻ Lights & Control Ecosystem Our lighting and environmental control setup continues to perform beautifully: • ThinkGrow Model One LEDs • Future of Grow LEDs • TrolMaster Tent-X Controller – managing: • CO₂ • Temp & Humidity • PPFD • Device sync • Spider Farmer GGS Controller for extraction fans • Dual 6” exhaust systems with carbon filters • One 6” filtered intake • All airflow dynamically managed via AeroFan + Spider Farmer extraction, allowing clean in/out cycles, keeping the air fresh and responsive. This is a precision ecosystem, designed to respond, not just run. ⸻ Final Thoughts – Lifting Off This may be Week 1 Flower, but it’s really the moment of lift-off. The girls are still pre-flower, yes but this is the space where momentum builds, energy collects, and the transformation begins. We’re shifting from vegetative growth into reproductive focus — and if this week’s energy is any sign, we’re in for a glorious bloom phase. The Roller Coster Haze journey continues , and it’s gaining speed. Just came back from my holiday after 2 weeks left the plants in the beginning of the 4th week. My friend almost killed them hardly watered so they are a bit back. I am here now so I will help them recover. Currently I will give 120 ml water per plant a day so 60 ml 2 x a day and the same with the fertilization days. Light schedule 20/4 and 600W plus ventilation at the same time when the lamp works. They started flowering also just need to recover them. Some yellow leaves can be seen due to lack of watering and one of them almost dried out all the leaves were wilt I needed to revitalize. I will try the best because these are auto flowering plants so every day matters they rush to flower! Anyways they are fine and healthy just needed someone who knows how to treat them properly. Fertilization days : Monday, Wednesday, Friday. 28th of June: I started low stress training with them in the early flowering stage, I wanna increase the yield I know this strain as i planted before. It will stretch double or triple its size from now. Tallest is around 30-35 cm and the smallest approx 15-20 cm.

This week can be simplified as EXPLOSION!! The plant doubled in size and I can see many main branches now, which is pretty awesome!! This is exactly what is LST is for, right!? I am pretty amazed for seeing this explosion in the 2nd week of flowering and cannot wait to introduce the booster when flowers are going to be a little bigger, in around 6~10 days. Now I'm keeping training her for at least 5 days, and then I'll stop so she can focus on flowering. At the e moment I'll stop training her she will also be able to have more space for herself in the tent as the other plant are going to be chopped pretty soon (other diary updated). So stay tuned and stay high nice people! Cheers!
