🌸 BlueBerry — Week 8 Flower | Shining Toward the Finish Line Here we are, my dear readers — Week 8 of flower. The room feels magical. Our BlueBerry girls, both phenos, are in their full glory — dense, fragrant, and sparkling with resin. From seed to now, it’s been a journey of patience, learning, and pure joy. The final stretch has begun, and you can feel it in the air — harvest is not far away, maybe one or two weeks more. ✨ The Girls Both BlueBerry #1 and BlueBerry #2 are magnificent. Thick colas stacking from top to bottom, glistening with frost under the lights. The pistils are slowly turning color, and the aroma is deep, sweet, and nostalgic — that unmistakable BlueBerry essence that makes this classic a legend. The trichomes are swelling beautifully, and bud density is impressive. The girls are holding up thanks to the yo-yos — these branches are heavy, bending under the weight of their own success. ⚙️ The Gear This week, let’s give a shout-out to the gear making this symphony possible: 💡 Lighting Setup We are running a mix of powerhouses — the ThinkGrow Model One and the ICL 300 inner canopy lights. Together, they create a perfect, even spread — deep canopy penetration from the ICLs and full-spectrum brilliance from the top lights. The inner canopy lighting has really proven its worth, driving light deep into the plant’s heart and boosting bud formation all the way down. 🌬️ Airflow & Extraction Two 6-inch extractors keep the air moving — one AeroFan, the other Spider Farmer, both with carbon filters for clean, fresh air. The Spider Farmer extractor runs through its own GGS controller, while the AeroFan is perfectly synced with the TrolMaster Tent-X system, ensuring ideal airflow at all times. 🎥 Monitoring & Control Our guardian eye — the TrolMaster camera — keeps a close watch, allowing remote monitoring of the girls in real time. The entire ecosystem (lights, fans, sensors, and camera) is fully integrated, giving us control and data precision from anywhere. 🌿 Environment & Feeding Temperatures stay warm — around 29°C — while humidity fluctuates around 55–60%. It’s hot, yes, but the airflow and light balance keep things steady enough for the girls to thrive. We’re continuing with our nutrient mix featuring Aptus Holland and Plagron products. The recipe is fine-tuned now — the balance between power and gentleness, giving the plants the final push to perfect those trichomes and terpene profiles. 💧 What’s Next As we near the finish line, we’re watching closely: • Trichome maturity is the main focus now — we’re waiting for that milky-to-amber dance. • Flushing is coming soon, preparing the soil and the plants for a clean, flavorful harvest. • Aroma intensifies daily — the room feels alive, sweet, fruity, and full of promise. 💙 Gratitude & Reflection From germination with The Cannakan method, through every transplant, every tweak, every experiment — it’s been a story of care and curiosity. Huge thanks to Zamnesia for these legendary genetics, to Aptus Holland and Plagron for their nutrient support, and to TrolMaster, ThinkGrow, Future of Grow, Spider Farmer, and AeroFan for helping make this environment as close to perfect as we can dream. And of course — thank you to everyone reading, supporting, learning, and growing with us. The haters, the lovers, the curious souls — all of you are part of this. 🌍💚 🌸 What to Expect (and Not) Expect swelling buds, deeper aromas, and trichomes that’ll make your camera cry tears of joy. 6/23 Due To The Two 8 Day weeks this week will only consist of five days to get me back on track. SEE LAST WEEK FOR DETAILS. I DID ANOTHER EIGHT DAY WEEK. I'LL DO THIS WEEK AS SIX DAYS. THAT WAY IM BACK ON SCHEDULE. WATERED 6/22. WENT BACK AT NIGHTCAND WATERED ANOTHER GALLON WITH 1/3 TSP Armor Si. I mixed the solution with kelp you kelp me but I dumped it out. I've mixed silica with other nutes before but I had read something earlier about bioavailability issues and I didn't want to risk it. My plants are the healthiest I've ever grown. I'm considering transplanting the large 10th planet that I'm light depping. I also need to develop my ipm and my nute schedule. Still gonna have to keep an eye onvthe water situation. Luckily I have a buddy in my corner that's co tinualkt Bern a great help. WENT BACK OVER AROUND NOON. BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE AND THE PLANTS WERE LOVING THIS SUN. I DEFOLIATED SOME BURNED LEAVES AND MIXED A SOLUTION IF KELP ME KELP YOU THAT I PLAN TO FEED TO THE GARDEN TODAY. IM HAPPY WITH HOW THINGS ARE GOING. WE HAVE SOME RAIN AND THINDERSTORMS COMING. I NEED TO GET MY IPM UP AND RUNNING AND THE NUTES ONLINE. I ALSO NEED TO DECIDE IF IM GOING TO TRANSPLANT THE LIGHT DEP 10th PLANET. Went back over to put the girls to bed at six and if was still 90 degrees. The water from yesterday had dissipated. The tops were dust dry. I mixed two gallons of kelp you kelp me and fed it to the garden. Afterwards I pointed qbd found a couple plants that were more open to the wind were a little lighter. I know tomorrow will be very hot. Maybe quarter inch of rain. However after that it will rain (showers) off and on for days. I wanted to make sure the girls had what the needed to make it through tjis heat wave until they get that rain. I had another gallon mixed up and I'm thinking I should've given it to them. Oh well. I'd rather underwater than overwater any day. I did notice a burnt top on the plant furthest from the tarp that the sun JUST BARELY TOUCHES when the rest are in shade. I'll just raise the tarp a little. These are tiny problems. Can't upload video until tomorrow. 6/24 Good thing u gave the plants that water. I know it wasn't much but we didn't get any rain. Suppised to get a qtr in today and another qtr in tomorrow. Then rain a couple more days. It's working our really good for my watering schedule lol. Yesterday the girls got there first dose of a bottled nute. They got two gallons of kelp me kelp you (1/3 tsp per gallon) and another gallon of just phed water. I was going to do another gallon but held off due to the threat of syring rain. Didn't get it bur it looks like the plants loved the kelp. It had reached 90 yesterday. They look better today. It's 70 at 9 today. I LST the 10th planet in the 3 gallon. It's getting huge. I should start a separate diary for those three light dep plants. Its cool as hell watching this. One of the purple punches is flowering pretty good. I probably should start another diary for them. I'll be starting to feed my plants soon. Wondering if I should pinch plants again. TUCKED THE LITTLE GIRLS IN AT SIX AND SHOT A VIDEO AND TOOK SOME PUCTURES. PLANTS LOOKED PHENOMINAL! GOT HOME AND AROUND SEVEN IT JUST STARTED RORREBTIAL DOWNPOURS! THE TYPE OF RAIN THAT BREAKS STEMS. I SHOULDVE PUT MY OTHET TARP UP BUT I DIDNT. I WISH I HAD. IM A LITTLE NERVOUS. I KNOW THESE GIRLS ARE STRONG THOUGH! TOMORROW. ILL ROLL THE RARP UP AND SECURE THE BOTTOM FOR FAST ACCESS. IM ALSO GOING TO KOOK INTO FINDING A TOP FOR MY CAGE I CAN USE IN INCLIMENT WEATHER. 6/25 That little qtr in of rain we were supposed to get turned into torrential downpours and high winds. Luckily no REAL damage. If you watch the video you'll see what I mean. I'm going to havecto be cognizant moving forward. Noticed a few chunks from leaves butvplants are still healthy. I'm surprised how well these girls withstood this storm. They are certainly resilient. The 2 purple punch 1 10th planet that I'm light depping are flowering nicely now. They missed all the commotion from the storm as they were inside. It's smelling good. I'm happy. 6/26 It's what a friend would say is "maineing") out. That mistcthe plants love. I'm surprised the plants are doing as good as they have been considering the wind. Will be adding nutes soon. Need to add extra supports too. Light dep 6/27 Brief periods or torrential downpours. Light depped 3 gallon 0lants are under an overhanfcwhete the hatsxrain can't hurt them but they still get sun. They are really starting to flower now! I'm going to begin feeding with a base nute and a flower nute I think. I'm thinking about giving the light dep some open sesame or something similar. I need to set up a nute program soon but the plants ALL look so healthy! And it's been raining! I've only watered like once or twice since they've been in the big pots. I've seen zero pests aside from a chunk missing from a grasshopper. Usually by now I'd have battled half a dozen things and be battling another half dozen. However I was posing from clones. These are seeds and boy don't I see the difference!

Pretty stoked where she decided to pop out. Gives me a little LST room. Gonna play it by ear with that constricted root space before I try anything drastic. 😅 Just keeping her humid and watered with 6.8ph + a tiny bit of root hormone. Probably start some organic nutes next weekend. Hope everyone else had an excellent contest growing week and the ladies are healthy! ✌️🌱

2/18: 4 weeks since we planted them. Some of the new nodes since topping are starting to come in. Also finally got to doing some lst. First time, so I didn't rlly know what I was doing all that much, but my main goal was to pull branches outward and have more light reaching all the nodes. I should definitely have topped and done LST earlier, but oh well, now I know for next time. I also removed some of the new fan leaves that were covering the new nodes. My roommate wanted to experiment with the smallest one so removed some of its big fan leaves. I don't really think that was the right call, but whatever we'll see what happens. Would also have loved to try mainlining but its also pretty late for that. It would have slowed down veg quite a bit too, and since we have to go home from college in early may, they have to be harvested by then. Gonna water later this afternoon as well. 2/19: Watered them last night. 0.75 gallons each. 4 tsp grow big, 6 tsp big bloom, 1.5 tsp calimagic per 2 gallons. I'm not sure why I didn't realize earlier I can just partially tuck the higher fan leaves under the lower nodes coming in. It makes the plant look droopy since big leaves are tucked, but I feel like it helps the lower nodes receive light and catch up, while being able to keep the fan leaves without cutting them. The small plant has 10 main nodes, and the rest have between 12-14, with many smaller additional nodes coming in under. I'm not sure how much I should try to grow these smaller nodes on the lower branches, or if I should just snip them off. Main focus right now is to get the nodes at similar hight and horizontal grow. 2/23: Watered this morning. Should have watered last night but my roommates were asleep and I was a bit too lazy to do it myself (took me an hour last time to do it all myself). I think I'm gonna start filling up a 5 gallon bucket instead of the 2 gallon one I was using, since I won't have to spend as much time refilling the water, nutrients, and get correct ph. Nutes doseage was 3 tsp grow big, 6 tsp big bloom, 2 tsp calimagic per 2 gallons. Roughly 0.8 gallons each plant. Ran out of big bloom for a few of the plants, but I don't think that should cause any big issues. Me and my roommate were debating if we should feed them nutes this water, or do straight water and calmag. Ended up feeding them since I didn't think we already have much salt buildup, but I think we will do a straight water and calmag flush next time. I also remembered we have a TDS meter, so I used it for the first time. Water in was about 750 or so ppm, and runoff was about 1350. I think thats kinda high for runoff, but like I said we will flush next time, and plants look healthy for the most part. Will definitely look more into that starting now. Also, the ph meter I had previously bought is complete garbage, so I had only been setting ph to around 6.2-6.5 with one of those visual mixing solution kit. I'd been doing this before mixing nutrients, and hoping that they don't throw the ph values off too much. I know this is pretty reckless and stupid, but it seems to somehow be working for now. I think it's probably a better idea we get a working ph meter so we can make sure levels are good after mixing in nutrients, but I'm feeling a bit lazy and frugal to buy a meter, so we'll see. Overall, plants look fairly healthy. They were a bit droopy today because I think I waited a bit too long before watering them, but oh well. One of the two plants that is a leggier and less bushy phenotype is turning pretty yellow however. I'm assuming it's a nitrogen deficiency but I'm not certain. Seems to have gotten a bit worse the last few days, but I'm hoping things will sort themselves out. Might also just up the doseage for grow big, which contains more nitrogen than big bloom. On a few of the other plants, the older and lower fan leaves also seemed to have some spotting resulting from calcium deficiency. Newer leaves all seem fine, and with the recentish addition of calmagic, I'm hoping this won't be an issue going forward. Have also been snipping very small nodes that are coming in on the lower branches. Not snipping them all, just trying to predict which ones have a chance at reaching quality light and developing into good colas. Anything I think will turn into larf im just snipping. Looking back on the last few weeks, there are a lot of things I have learned that I hope to carry over to our next grow next year. I should have started lst and topping sooner, I understand how much and often to water them much better now, and there are a plethora of other small things that I have learned. I wish I didn't cut corners on some small things and overall was a bit more attentive to details, but for how well it seems to be going, I really can't complain. I'm incredibly stoked about how this is going, and I still can't believe I'm growing these plants with my roommates in our garage as a college student.

Day 15 update; Morning; Was definitely a mistake to cut the leaves already.. I let the leaves stay on one of the 3 plants I have, and after it got repotted yesterday, growth have taken off completely.. It's 3 days younger than this one, and almost twice the size, having set the second set of leaves on the sidestems already. I'll add some fertilizer today, to the 2nd one I cut leaves on, and see how it goes, and then decide tomorrow if the other two will get some then or if waiting a few extra days is best. - It's looking incredibly healthy tho, for a plant that lost a bunch of it's roots yesterday.. It's hugging the light from the lamp with the rest of its leaves, even more than before. So hoping I didn't set growth back too much. - Added a video of the setup. It's nothing fancy, but should work nicely. Night; Still really healthy looking, and still hugging the light with pretty much every leaf, even the ones sprouting on the side have begun to do so.. Seems like it's starting to grow a little again as well, not much, but definitely a start to getting back on track. Day 16 update; She's definitely begun to grow again. Hopefully she'll catch up to the other two pretty fast. Day 17 update; There reqlly ian't much to say today. I think she's picking up the pace for growth, bit can't be too sure.. Day 18 update; There's no doubt that she's back to growing nicely again. She might even have a healthier green colour than before. Day 19 update; Morning; Pretty sure she's showing signs of the beginning of sexing this morning. A little earlier than I'd hoped, especially with the setbacks she's had. But she still got time to grow before flowering, so hopefully not a problem now that she's back on track. Evening; She popped a few hairs during the day.. I tried taking some better pictures, but damn phone camera just won't focus when getting closer than what I've uploaded, so I underlined the hairs slightly.. They hard to aee in the pic tho, but they're there. Night; She's set another couple of hairs at the top, they're very tiny tho and I still can't get a good picture. Growth is definitely progressing faster. Day 20 update; She's had a productive day. Definitely preparing to flower within the next week or so. Hairs should be pretty noticable on the top-down pic this time around, the way it looks close up, it could be suspected that she was already flowering. Day 21 update; Not quite flowering yet, but definitely very close from the looks of her top.. another couple of days, and she'll be there.

| Week 6 is finished and we are looking pretty good on Super Orange and Apollo Haze. Terps: ------- Orange has started to fairly loudly emit her incredible, warm, mandarine-candy (no sours, bitters) fumes. The terpinolene is playing tricks on me, never fully grasping the exact fruit or likeness in the profile. A warm, sweet & thick mandarine-syrup mixed into your local humidifier would likely emanate a similar scent. Apollo is trying to dominate the tent, but Orange has taken over with surpisingly intense trichome expression. The fact that the tent smells of her mostly means these terpenes are evaporating at present temperatures. I can either keep the temps stable (my week 6 choice), accept that many sensitive terps escape as they are built, but focus on a relaxed environment for the cultivars; or, I could just drop the temps right now and target high limonene / monoterpene retention (one of the secret sauce Haze effect ingredients). Cool distinctions we can make these days, huh? Apollo still retains a fairly 'rude' veg spice smell. It is detailed, balanced and tuned around an umami like sellerie, and most definitley not fruity. I was already afraid I would suffer another pheno or genetic expression as with 505 Headbanger (no fruit smell besides some citrus, heavy eucalyptus and mint notes, sweet after cure, some pine here and there) I did however happen to crush some trichomes on accident and to my surprise I got a heavy citrus-palette that is almost pure lemon juice. Think of all the citrus fruits you know mixed in a lemon juice cocktail, take a whiff and feel your nostrils burn! She is able to conserve the citrus contents well apparently, so I am hoping for more suprises as she ages and shifts focus and am happy with her state. Auto Cinderella Jack ------ ACJ still is a bit quieter and usually smells like fresh leaves. She unfortunately endured many invisible stress factors, like over-watering or wind & climate events (see those curled up, dry leaf tips?). Those interfered with the HST super-cropping / scrogging timing. As a result, instead of starting her flowering stretch, she turtled up. Every big leaves acts as a cup for growth underneath, she went from relaxed expansion to safety via density. In no way will she not flower happily at some point, but her situational difference decided over success of the training technique employed. Note: This cultivar often has a bushier pheno, but I have seen her do great and she would stretch nicely when -everything- was correct. Nanners: ----- The shocker this week was the discovery of undisputed nanner structures on BOTH SOH and AH. They developed exclusively on lower node branches, where you would usually see isolated bracts / calyxes covered with trichomes and 2 pistils or so. I removed what I could, but mentally, this now puts me in an awkward position. Now, the fun is out. Stress management is everything, forget about maximum plant performance. I wonder why this is. So far, I grew 9 42FB cultivars with zero nanners; and up to this point 5 Mephisto cultivars, out of which 3 produced nanners. But that is not enough data: All Mephisto cultivars displaying nanners have been leaning sharply into the landrace-sativa type. Only one cultivar was assumedly stress-pressured into hermaphroditism (OSHM / Mango, consistent light burn). Perhaps the plants felt their environment was a bit lacking in population density and sensing other females around, 2 cultivars started shedding pollen from their lower structures, leaving most flower-sites ready for actual outside pollination. Or, this is just wishful thinking. We'll see in week 7!

Man what a busy week. I left for a small vacation with the family and left the plants in the care of someone and luckly everything is still alive lol. Then today I almost forgot to post my weekly diary because I was busy build my new grow office and moving all the equipment in. The room I built is where all the plants well eventually end up ones my coco and perlite arrive. This washing machine strain is growing really strong. Not surprising seeing as how nice ripper seeds strains have bee so far. Only one plant of the 15 ive done has been a dud. Roots are at the bottom of the 1 gal pot and well need to be transplanted soon. Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone.

Last week of flowering. I would have to use a scrog to spread her further. I decided against that option becuase i like to keep the plant available at all times. Scrogging hinders this. So im keeping her down with some lines. Look at the stem. If it looks like this in veg, you know this lady is going to be huge!
