Flowering Week 20: Structural Surprises & Purple Promises Update: 28.07.2025 | Day 143 Hey Growmies, Apologies for the radio silence! Between vacation and kid adventures, the diary took a backseat. But the ladies? They’ve been busy. Here’s the catch-up: Emergency Support Mission - Durban’s weight crisis: Side branches cracked under their own mass – one even split the main stem! - Field fix: Stabilized with 4 stakes + speaker wire (ugly but effective). - Lesson learned: Next run = heavy-duty support before stretch. Strain Check: Durban Poison (African Queen) - Growth style: Less height (expected 2m+), more lateral explosion – new shoots daily make her look like 3 plants in one. - Flower status: White pistils stacking at branch tips. - Smell: Still discreet (neighbor-safe
for now). - Health: Vibrant green – zero stress signs. Blueberry - Surprise stretch: Nearly hit 2m (like a sativa!). Half Durban’s width but elegant. - Stem power: Thicker trunk than Durban – mini-tree status. - Color preview: Purple stems emerging! Buds may follow suit (fingers crossed). - Support needed: Prepping for heavy buds to avoid branch snaps. Care & Environment - Feeding: Pure Bokashi juice (no extras) – they’re thriving on it. - Pests/mold: None spotted. Dry summer helping. - Weather: About 20° C and really high humidity. Next Steps - Build 4-stake + twine support grid (multiple height tiers). - Monitor Durban’s odor spike as flowering advances. - Pray to the mold gods for a dry autumn (purple buds = mold camouflage). Week 20 Takeaway Never underestimate the weight of the branches and the effect of a little strom. I could possible fuck up my grow. Alright folks, as always: Catch y’all next week – no more hiatuses! – Smoking_Joe_Frazier

DovrĂ  stare appeso un giorno in piĂč molto probabile..altri 4/5 giorni e iniziano a pulire i boccioli đŸŒ±đŸ’„đŸ’Ż

***DIVINE SEEDS ***** *****OPIUM***** Sponsored grow Week 4 Germination April 6. Week 1 water only Week 2 water only Week 3 added recharge and* TPS1 increasing ppm to 570. Week 4 added calmag, did LST and defoliation. Before & after pics. Increase ppm to 685 This week 4/28-5/4 consisted of plain ph 6.6-6.9 water with recharge, calmag and TPS1. 4/24 updated my ACInfinity app and started using the advanced programming settings for early vegetation. This is keeping humidity in 70% with temps in 80. What I don't like is using advanced programming, the humidifier is at level6 . This spews moisture directly on my plants, into the drain tray and floor. 5/1 I did some LST and defoliation. Before and after pics above. Until the plants are big enough to go outside, I will be using my AC Infinity tent and equipment. Once outside, I will be watering with well water and recharge and any additional fertilizers or amendments will be determined at that time. Thank you @DivineSeeds Thanks for the likes and comments, I appreciate all the plant love💚. Have fun & love what you grow 💚 Sending love and light đŸ’« đŸ’«Natrona đŸ’« DIVINE SEEDS ***OPIUM*** Harvest:1000 g/m2 Divine Seeds developed Opium as a new champion strain, unprecedently powerful and loaded with unbelievable quantities of resin. Certainly, no average genetic base could be behind such brilliant parameters! Several Afghani Indica landraces, recognized as most potent and resinous, were bred together with a mighty Brazilian Sativa which Opium inherits its bright berry taste from. Then a great deal of work followed aiming for the highest THC level and endurability as well as a branchy structure that would provide maximal yields. Now we can proudly title Opium the best Indica you could dream of growing! Indoors these plants mostly stay mid-height (1.5 m), reaching up to 2.0 m out of doors. Depending on your height limitations, Opium flourishes universally in grow boxes, balconies, green houses and terraces. Due to its Afghani parentage, this strain can stand hot weather if provided enough water and some shadow. Responds well to any training techniques: ScroG and SoG, LST, topping and FIM, supercropping. The start of blooming is marked with a rush of growth, when plants stretch almost 1.4x. Expect heavy colas that often require additional supports. Whilst ripening, Opium gives off a pungent earthy stench with fruity and berry undertones, also a bit of pine. Ready for outdoor harvesting in October. The stoning psychedelic impact of Opium is like being hypnotized (unless you’ve had too much, then it feels more like a blackout). Stone-lovers will appreciate every minute with Opium: its spicy taste immerses your mind into daydreaming, while the body rests flat. Recreation with this psychedelic Indica means silent tripping from one insight to another. Mighty enough to kill chronical pains, Opium is also medically efficient against insomnia, nausea, appetite disorders, muscle spasms, headaches, irritation, fatigue, panic attacks, epilepsy. Best consumed at night time, the effects keep going for up to 4 hours. one thing i liked was it started to get a little purple but that didnt really come through in the end. also i like the fast flowering. what i didnt like was that it truly was a bitch to grow, and if this were a bingo night i'd have crossed out nearly all the possible deficiencies and pest issues you can get. After being really happy with the purple punch genetics this one has been l bit of a disappointment really. i'd love to see more information strainspecifically to come with the package of seeds. like for instance if its a heavy feeder, if it likes the lights close or far away, and how long the flowereing period usually takes. Probably not growing this again anytime sooon though.

End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed😳. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that’s gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We’ll collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it’s needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there’s an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we’ve been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we’ve rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I’m happy to say that there isn’t any one plant I won’t consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we’ll even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it’s just waiting around for seed👍. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Stay tuned - with a little luck, this cross is gonna be straight đŸ”„đŸ˜ŽđŸ‘Œ.
