Hey fellow green thumbs! 🌿💚 We’ve just wrapped up the fifth week of flowering with our Auto Fast Pete and Auto Northern Dragon Fuel from Super Sativa Seed Club. This week has been all about resilience and adaptation as our plants continue to push through the challenges. Let’s dive into the details!
🌟 Week 9 (Fifth Week of Flower) Progress:
Day 57-59: Bud Development and Resilience
• Auto Fast Pete: Despite the ongoing stress and burned leaves, Pete’s buds are continuing to bulk up. The aroma is rich and potent, filling the grow room with a delightful scent. The resilience of this plant is truly remarkable. 🌿🌸
• Auto Northern Dragon Fuel: Dragon Fuel is also showing strong bud development, with sticky, dense flowers. The burned leaves persist, but the plant’s overall vigor remains impressive. 🌱✨
Day 60-62: Growing with the Flow
• Nutrient Strategy: Continuing with the adjusted nutrient regimen, including increased CalMag to support the plants through the stress. Monitoring the plants closely to see how they respond to these adjustments. 🌿

Day 63: Observing and Embracing the Journey
• Auto Fast Pete: The buds are continuing to grow and mature. The plant’s resilience in the face of stress is truly inspiring. 🌿🌼
• Auto Northern Dragon Fuel: The bud sites are dense and sticky, and the plant is showing incredible strength. Despite the burned leaves, the flowers are developing beautifully. 🌱🌟
🌟 Care Tips:
• Light: Maintaining the 12/12 light schedule. The plants are adapting to this schedule, and we’re keeping a close eye on their response. 💡
• Autopot System: The Autopot system ensures a steady water supply, reducing the need for frequent manual watering. This system is great for maintaining consistent soil moisture, which is crucial during the flowering phase. 🌊
• Nutrient Monitoring: Continuing with the increased CalMag dose to address deficiencies. Keeping an eye on the reservoir’s TDS and pH levels to ensure the plants receive the right amount of nutrients and minerals. 🌿
• Environment Control: Maintaining a stable temperature of 31°C and humidity around 51% to create the perfect conditions for flowering. Adjusting airflow and positioning to optimize plant health. 🌡️💧

Auto Fast Pete:
• Characteristics: Rapid bud development, strong structure, early resin production, but showing signs of stress and possible nutrient deficiencies. This strain is still pushing through with impressive bud bulk.
• Future Expectations: Continued bud swelling and resin production. Monitoring nutrient adjustments closely to ensure a healthy finish.
Auto Northern Dragon Fuel:
• Characteristics: Robust structure, dense bud sites, resilience, but also showing stress signs and possible CalMag deficiency. The buds are still developing beautifully.
• Future Expectations: Significant bud growth and increased resin production. Close monitoring and adjustments will support a strong finish.

The first week of flowering is here, and things are finally looking much better!
Both plants have recovered well and are now growing much healthier.🌱
#1 has already started stretching significantly, really picking up speed. It’s exciting to see how quickly it’s developing! Meanwhile.
#2 spent about half the week still in vegetation, but towards the end, I finally spotted the first signs of flowering.
Now that both are officially in bloom, I’m looking forward to seeing how they continue to develop over the next weeks. On to the next phase! 😊

The Humboldt seeds Gorilla Breath is almost the size of the cookies. Even though she sprouted 3 days later.
And last but not least, the Aficionado French Connection Rosso Corsa. She sprouted 5 Days later then the Cookies but she's catching up. i'm really curious about this strain:) i'll keep you guy's updated

the waterworks come covered in some olie residue and i only did a few rinses. I think it kept the ph high for some time and i did a few more water cycles after complete setup. Everytime getting rit of more oil film.
I like the bucketd rinsed the leca pepples in high ph tap water and again it took me some time to get ph down but this time no oil residue :)
After a few days i felt i got ph under control so started the canna nutes schedule.

Week 11 - Day 1 : Pinched branches from subject 1 and 2. As seen in the videos uploaded.
Week 11 - Day 2 : Changed water schedule to water-water-feed, watering my plants with 4 Liters per plant every 3th day. Pinched branches recovered successfully.

Week 11 - Day 5 : Pinches branches of subject 1, take a good look and tell me what you think, had my first harvest of ladybugs in the garden and released them on my plants, noticed that I have very little spider mites on my plants. Posted week 1 to 9 on my diary.
Week 11 - Day 6 : Woke up to subject 5 being damaged, What could have caused this? Too heavy branches? Maybe an animal that accidentally broke the branch and took off.

she's a beast and has grown really tall just hoping the buds will fill out in the next few weeks, I grew this strain a while back but it looked completley different to this and was half the size, maybe that was because it was grown in soil ??

Its been a busy week in Fat Zappa's Garden, hence another late update.
I am no longer concerned about the gold patches on the plants, there has been a little more since the past update, particularly around the edges of some of the leaves but not much at all and it certainly doesn't appear to be anything serious so my fears have eased much in that regard.
The three older ladies in this grow are coming to the end of day 32 as I type this update, and have grown into fairly big plants over the past week or so. Despite having low stress training applied every two or three days they now stand around a foot tall. Not quite as tall as their Fastbuds label mate, the Wedding Cheesecake I am growing in Canna Coco and the same dry amendments, which stands an inch taller than these three sisters, but then she is nine days younger. These three girls are certainly more fuller plants though, and the past few days have seen the white hairs begin to appear, particularly on the bud sites, which have also began to turn light green, and the stem on one of these girls begin to turn more 'vine like' in texture.
Remaining on a schedule of about 2.5 litres of dechlorinated, aerated water of PH 6.4, day 28 also saw the garden revitalised by their usual tipple being replaced for an aerated compost tea of 2 cups of Worm Castings, 2 tablespoons of Alfalfa Meal, 2 tablespoons of Kelp Meal, and 1 tablespoon of Bat Guano in a cheese cloth bag, and placed in a UK 5 Gallon bucket with 2 tablespoons of Molasses mixed into the dechlorinated water I had aerated for 24 hours, and then brewed it for about 26 hours. It may just have been a well timed coincidence, but I do feel like the plants have shown a spurt of growth since receiving it, particularly the runt of these Mrs Banners, who received her first session of low stress training on day 30. Prior to this spurt of growth I was not going to perform any LST on her cos she just seemed way to small but has really filled out in the past week, although remains a very short specimen compared to her sisters, and the Wedding Cheesecakes who are 2 days younger than her.
I am starting to think something may have gone awry when I mixed my soil up, as the two pots which I struggled to germinate the initial seeds in, one which failed completely, have not seemed to thrive as much as the other four plants. When I mixed the initial mix into the 5 Gallon pots I did it in two batches, yet filled the all the pots a scoop at a time along a row so it does seem strange. I think next time I will mixed the medium with the dry amendments and castings a pot at a time to gain more control and see if things improve.
Also, in preparation for feeding the compost tea I did have a trim around the bottom of the larger plants as watering has become more difficult with all my wires and tucked leaves etc, which I immediately regretted, but actually, like I say, the plants seemed to have had a boost over the past few days so I am happy no harm has been done.
The lights are now running at the full 450w and set to around 25 inches from the top of the canopy. I have also increased the airflow through the intake fan, the canopy fans are both on high, my two 40 watt fans are now running on medium, and my AC Infinity T6 turned up to three on the OFF setting. My heater and humidifier remain on full on the environment has remained stable despite the ramping up of the light to full blast.
Lastly, day 32 began with a top dressing for all these plants, with the larger ladies showing signs of pre-flower. They got heaped portions of 1/2 cup of Worm Castings, 1/3 cup Dr Forest Organics 284 Bloom, and a table spoon of Dr Forest Organics Veg dry amendments which I mixed in as best I could with all my LST wires etc, and then watered at PH level 6.4. I'd like to mix the PH up a little more between 6.2 and 6.8 but it always seems to come out 6.4.

The girls are developing properly, frosting is beginning to be clearly visible.Also the smell has become clear and very intense.White Widow X Big Bud is the most noticeable.From today, the girls are switching to a different spectrum of light, UV light will be added.
