This week has been time to put on weight!! They are getting so heavy glad put in secondary scrog net. Have only been doing water so plants can just pull what they want our the soil they are starting to fade on their own. They have some amazing kinda blue tent to the buds. They have a gassy sweet smell to them! This will be the last week I feel but still see some clear heads and no amber so shall see over next week!!

Well its just past week three and the plant is full on flowering. I've been trimming Sucker branches and now it's time for the plant to start its autopilot journey. Nutrient changes and then harvest for these girls. Expect them to thicken up in about 2 weeks. Then continue to pack on the weight until the end of harvest.

Fifth week completed. They are showing more and more deficiencies, so I starded feeding more. I also got Bluelab soil pH meter - currently they are around 6.2 - not bad - week ago runoff was adound 5 so I was worried - but 2 waterings of pH 7.2 did the trick. They are back on track. I hope they will eat fast enough to save more leaves till the end - I want to keep them 3 or 4 more weeks. Buds are bulking nicely - they get fatter by the day. And they smell amazing - even with my horrid temperatures - the heat wave is real - AC does not help much though without AC it would be like 40*C in the tent 😵 Till next week! Happy growing everyone! 💪

We're on week 10 and trichomes have just started going cloudy at a good rate 3 days ago, so its now time for the 10-20 day flush until harvest. The smell is getting super strong, its a very weird citrus, with a slight lemon hint(you can tell theres some diesel genetics in there), It almost stings your nose abit. Overall its not a bad smell just not as pleasant as some other strains but unique in a good way. Im not sure how im going to harvest this plant but most likely I will harvest some when all trichs are cloudy and some once a decent amount have gone amber, im gonna be growing some dank strains in future so this will be my more medical strain. I will be totalling all the yield numbers at the end, yield may be affected abit but I also want to see first hand how cloudy vs cloudy/amber trichs smokes.

Screw the stretch then. Full spectrum lighting from the top, the blue & red emitting from the "full spectrum" light only penetrates 1-2 layers of the leaf, the green wavelength will penetrate 4,5,6 layers, and the best ratio for flower growth is 1/2/1 R/B/G, and very little of the red and blue reaching lower parts of the plants or even the sides, flowers on lower parts of canopy receiving a majority of green will grow larf style buds, often lackluster, I supplement blue and red at the sides, I do not want to add more "full spectrum" this would double dose the green which penetrates deep. By the end of week, I'm looking at bud sites everywhere, the density is exceptional and above what i'm come to expect in week 1.5, it was the like plant skipped the stretch and went right to bud site production.

Day 53 has broken for the ladies, and I am very pleased with their progress. The buds are visibly getting stronger every day. A few brown leaf tips appeared, but at this stage I don’t care much for them. Overall, they still look very much alive. Day 57: Uppermost leaves are curling up. Could be they are saturated with light and I should reduce the lighting period a bit, could be that the water drop installment provided them with a bit too much water, although they don’t show any more fresh signs of over-watering or fertilisation. But I had to remove water that flooded the bottom of the tank … I’ll reduce their lighting period to 14 hours. Rest of the ladies looks very healthy so I don’t want to stress them too much. It would be better to raise the left light a bit but I cannot. So, although the label says they would grow taller, I can be glad they did not gain more height. Day 58: Buds are really getting massive, and they started to smell a bit more. They even gained 1 cm and tallest bud is now at 89. It’s a very sweet but deep odour, really enjoyable. Lady #2, while being a bit smaller, looks like being in winter. Sugar leaves are enormous on her. I added a detail photo from timelapse video showing some of the curled and slightly burnt leaves. They are not many, and damage does not seem to progress. Anyway, ladies are already late in the game and I am rather surprised they still look very healthy.

21/08/2023 I decided to trim the yellow tips on the large leaves because some rather concerning black spots were starting to appear on those yellow areas. I also trimmed the small yellowed leaves (even though they didn't seem to have these black dots) I am very pleased with the outcome of #3, I will now always use LST for my future grows and not ScrOG as I said last week. I don't expect to end up with huge buds due to the lack of fertilizer, which is why I plan to use Root Juice, BioGrow, BioBloom, TopMax, and BioHeaven from BioBizz in my next grow. I will also need an oscillating fan, having to move it around to prevent some burns on the leaves is quite annoying. I would like to find one smaller than 15CM, but I don't think it's possible. The only ones in this case are battery-operated and not oscillating. I don't know why the buds of #2 have such long hairs. 25/08/2023 I received my magnifying glass, it's not meant to be put on a phone, but I still managed to take these photos at x60 magnification (I have a x90 magnifying glass, but it's impossible to take good photos with it). You don't see much in some photos at x60 magnification, but like everything else, I will improve over the weeks.

Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. These changes bring the nutrient mix in line with what’s most beneficial at this stage. All this precise dialing in is easy to manage thanks to the TrolMaster system. From pH to nutrient scheduling, the TrolMaster ecosystem and ThinkGrow LEDs have been the ultimate teammates in this grow journey, giving me real-time data, fine control, and peace of mind. 💯 (Not introducing UV light just yet, but stay tuned as that’s coming soon for an added boost!) Looking Forward 🌟 Next week, we’ll be upping the reds, giving us an even greater chance of activating those flowering signals for a smoother, faster transition through the cycle. I’ll keep tweaking and fine-tuning every parameter to make sure these ladies get exactly what they need to thrive. Big thanks to the TrolMaster system for keeping everything in balance and optimized, along with the supportive Grow Fam following this journey! Your enthusiasm, advice, and support are a huge part of this grow’s success. Keep following for more updates, and stay tuned for what’s next! 🌿✨ P.S. Deep Dive: TrolMaster’s MBS-S8 CO₂ Sensor & Smoke Detector 🚨 The MBS-S8 CO₂ Sensor from TrolMaster is a powerhouse for growers, especially when it comes to optimizing plant growth and efficiency in a controlled environment. This sensor continuously monitors CO₂ levels and integrates directly with the TrolMaster ecosystem, giving you real-time data on CO₂ concentration. Ideal levels of CO₂ can significantly boost growth and yield during certain stages, so understanding and managing CO₂ is key. With the MBS-S8, I can control CO₂ levels precisely, keeping them within the optimal range for photosynthesis. This sensor is a game-changer because it adjusts CO₂ delivery automatically, giving plants exactly what they need without any extra monitoring from me. Meanwhile, TrolMaster’s Smoke Detector is an essential safety device, especially in spaces with electrical equipment, lights, and heat-generating components. This detector can be set up to alert me instantly via the TrolMaster app if any smoke is detected, allowing me to respond immediately to any potential issues. Fires and smoke are rare in controlled grow setups but having this safety measure provides peace of mind and lets me focus on the plants without constant worry. It’s an incredible tool for any grower prioritizing safety and proactive monitoring. I’m waiting for a humidifier to set the perfect humidity level for my plants so the first week will be a little bit difficult for them but they will be happy afterwards
