Man! I am definitely hooked on my new hobby. Harvested 96 grams of smokable bud and 93 grams of bud/leaves that I will be using to make dry ice hash. Took a third of that second weight (31 grams) to account for pure bud (which is more on the low end) and added to my 96 grams of good flower to get the 127 grams total. Made plenty of mistakes that I’m sure dropped my yield, the biggest being the lighting situation. Plants grew right into my light and even got bleached. The height of the plants made the outer colas grow past the high light areas, which made the buds very airy. But overall it was an amazing experience. I learned a lot of things, some that I have already incorporated on my second grow. And even with my drop in yield, I still ended up with more than enough flower to last me to my next harvest, so this was a great grow for me. Thanks to everyone who followed, liked, and commented. Your words were helpful and meaningful.

So this week is week 1 of transition, I have cleared about 40% of the girls fan leaves trying to make sure I get as much light penetration as possible I have about 16 main colas on a couple and between 8-12 on the rest looking for some solid results, going to add all the good stuff next week and lets get ready to watch the magic happen!!!

6/22 End of fist week in newly remodeled grow room! Clones did well with transfer from clone machine to grow rails. Got rid of the 3 inch neoprene Inserts for the sliced pipe insulation. Wrapping the pipe insulation around the root riot allows me to see the base of the plant and the root riot witch provides a good indication of moisture level in the rail. By zoning the high pressure irrigation, the pressure is running higher than the last round and I found my settings at 3 minutes every 30 min too much water. Added 10 minutes to root dry time to 40 minutes off. Seems to have done the trick and leaf curling has diminished. 😀 All set for new round. Get the last round of lids at greenbud.life Open enrolment till July 4th. Get signed up before then!

Day 22 and 23: Going easy breezy so far!! I released some ladybugs in my tents on these Chocolate Mint OG's 21st day. So far so good lol. Last night when I watered I gave a little real growers recharge to help with the recent transplant (it definitely gave them a boost!) Its mid summer here in MI and 84+ temps 😬 keeping the house and tents cool has been a challenge to say the least. Thankfully all my plants are in Veg and seem to like the heat. Except the Choc Mint.they are showing mild heat stress on the top fan leaves(at least that's my guess) Tent temps have been around 86 down to 84 daytime. I lowered them so they are 24" from the lights 🤞 hopefully that helps. Other than that, no problems. And some generally happy plants! The recharge and soil combo burned them a very little bit as well. Day 25&26 Nothing too eventful. I watered #2 on day 25. With some real growers recharge. The stuff is awesome! No nutrients needed if you have good soil! Day 26: snip 2 fan leaves from #2(the topped one) she was getting a little bushy. And tucked the other fans under to promote some lower branch growth. #1 I'm letting roll totally natural unless I clean up lower canopy to prevent pests. Day 27: Plants are doing great! #1 is really getting tall and # 2 is staying short and squat because of the training. We are letting #1 go naturally. Start of week 7! Week 6 went really well. The Blue Dream has show the most signs of nute deficiency, but it hasn't gotten any worse. She's also very sticky, with dense buds that are starting to fatten up. This lady is on an 8 week schedule, removed big bud and added overdrive to the nute lineup.

Hello GD Crew!!! I’m glad to finally be back with a new diary. A LOT has happened since my last diary. The large room I was using back then got infested with spider mites. For a while I thought I had them beat, but they came back with a vengeance. So I thoroughly cleaned my 2x4 tent and set it up in the opposite side of the house. However, that part of the house is also now my new man cave and was under construction until a few months ago (its still not completely done yet, but close enough). I have also switched back to LED lighting. I’m using a pair of Spider Farmer SF1000’s (100w) LED’s. I was using a 315w CMH fixture but felt I was getting better results with my old blurple ViparSpectra’s (both of which have died). Also, it was getting too hot in the tent with the CMH. To be completely honest the best weed I’ve ever grown was using a 1000w HPS, but that could possible melt a 2x4 tent and I’d be tripping circuit breakers all the time again. After a lot of research it looked like the Spider Farmer SF1000’s were the best bang for the buck in the LED market these days. They have the right components (Samsung LM301B diodes and MeanWell drivers) and have great specs. I was able to purchase them on Amazon Prime Day for $129/each (USD). For soil I’m using Coast of Main Stonington Blend Grower’s Mix. I had been previously trying to amend and reuse old soil or mix old soil 50/50 with new soil and in retrospect that was a mistake. The PH was totally unpredictable as were what nutrients were available or deficient. I felt like I was always trying to fix soil problems and one thing would lead to another. So, from now on its fresh soil in every pot. I’m using 3 gallon pots with self watering reservoirs at the bottom. In addition to the Coast of Main Stonington Blend I’m also using Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. I filled the 3 gallon pots with the Coast of Main Stonington Blend first, then dig out a hole in the middle about the size of a grapefruit and filled that hole with the Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. Then I planted the seeds about knuckle deep in the middle of the Seedling Mix. This seemed to work great, both pots had small seedlings appear in 5 days. This diary will focus primarily on FastBuds BlackBerry, but I am also growing a DinaFem Critical+ Auto at the same time. I’ve grown both of these strains a few times in the past with mixed results. But, I’m hoping this grow will be far greater than those in the past. My plan is to allow the Coast of Main Stonington Blend act as the ‘super soil’ it is supposed to be and not add any additional nutrients. I will however be adding RealGrowers Recharge on a regular basis (I love that stuff, it really makes a difference) and will probably also add some CalMag once in a while. But that’s all. Additionally, I do not plan on doing much training with these girls. I will LST bend them over at a 45 degree angle around the time they hit their flowering stretch, but that’s all. Bending at a 45 degree angle gives better exposure to lower branches and allows those lower branches to produce larger tops. Hoping for the best!!! Please feel free to comment and follow. Pineapple Express leaves are all losing color at this point, she’s getting close. Not sure how much longer to let this one go... she’s on day 57. Online recommended harvest date says day 55-65. Trichomes appear cloudy to me already but she’s shooting new white pistils everyday. The bud that was pollinated appears to be the most done. Its sugar leaves are beginning to yellow. The other buds seem a few weeks behind this one, I’m still trying to wait so the seeds fully develop. I don’t want to chop her too soon and not have fully developed seeds. The other buds I am trying tic heck trich’s on. Berry white is chugging along still, it’s still not as far along as the others but appears to be more frosty even though she’s a small plant. SCROG WEEK. Reservoir Nutrients at 1/4 strength. Calcium Nitrate 30 grams Jack’s Hydro 20 grams Magnesium Sulphate 22 grams 400 PPM Moved them from veg tent to the bloom tent and flattened them out. They are recovering, still a bit of work to do for cleaning it up. It’s so much work moving them, when I get more space for another tent, I’ll just keep them in their respective tents throughout grow... for now, I work. Been playing around with video making in spare time, uploaded a scrog tutorial.

2-1 Got her first water in new home. Was not watered in during x plant. Let her dry what she had first. 7ml EM1 will get a bigger dose soon. Just to kick things off. Around 1/2 tsp recharge, 1ml drops of balance. 1.5 ml Silica. Ph 6.0 500 ml. 2-3 Wish I would have watered 250-300. 500 was a bit much, should be fine. Looks very happy and perky. 2-4 Looks like she may have the fungus. Removed first leaves. 2-5 Peroxide spray at lights out. Slight possibility on 2nd set of leaves. 2-6 Removed 3rd set up leaves. Oh my goodness not again! Foliar spray, Canncontrol 300ml water .8 ml CannC. As a precaution. Enlisted Valiotoro, light may have burnts when lights came on from foliar. I dont remember checking. Focused more on if spread. 😂 Hope this helps. 🤞 Sad that the leaf removal will slow her down. .

Both are clearly in mid flowering. Starting to grow fast; every 24 hours I can see a difference in the bud size in both plants. I turned the light up to 100% now that it's using as much energy as it can.. I'll be checking for light burns daily.. so far so good. Both are very thirsty as well at this point.. went from feeding every 5-6 days to every 2 days tops. Doing a nute/nute/water feed.. these pics are day 2 of week 5 so taking more pics in a few more days Update: at 100% light burn started to occur. Caught it early tho. Put the light back to 80% and just brought a couple inches closer.
