🌸 Week 4 Flower Report: Growth, Challenges & Big Changes! 🌸 Hey, Grow Diaries Fam! ✨ We’re here at Week 4 of Flower, and what a week it’s been—packed with challenges, adjustments, and exciting progress! Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! This marks the start of a new chapter, and I’m incredibly curious to see how the plants react to these changes. Here’s the current nutrient mix: • System Clean: 0.5 ml/L • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L • RO Water Conditioner: 0.8 ml/L • All-in-One Liquid: 2.1 ml/L I’m keeping the pH at 6.1 and TDS at 556 ppm, and so far, the plants are thriving. This week also included a thorough system clean, ensuring everything runs smoothly as we enter the final flowering stages. 🌿 Bud Development: Pure Magic! The bud formation across all the genetics is nothing short of incredible. Every plant is thriving, and the canopy is lush, vibrant, and full of potential. I’ve raised the PPFD to 750 for this stage, with temps steady at 25°C and RH at 63%—keeping the VPD dialed in at 1.11. Week 14 (Plant Week 14) = Flower Week 5 Humidity management became more serious, so I installed a dehumidifier. I focused on keeping the tent dry and stable, so everything runs properly (less risk of mold). Defoliation continued gradually across Week 13 into Week 14: small cuts consistently over time instead of one heavy session. Today (end of Week 14) I did the final defoliation session. This is the last major trim; I’m not planning to remove more leaves going forward. Buds now have a stronger smell, and the resin is very sticky during handling. Plants kept stretching longer than expected, so I added new tie-down points and continued LST. Reduced light to ~60% after heavier trimming to reduce stress. Today I finished the final defoliation; buds are now noticeably more aromatic and extremely sticky/resinous.”

This week I’ve jus had em on ph ‘d water no nutes yet other than a little root stim, it was a busy time fo me this week do not been able to get in the grow room and give these girls the attention they need .

Another week has passed! 😎 Everything seems stable and healthy... no signs of deficiencies or nut lockout so far! 😋 Slowly changing the feeding into plagron with the bloom this week and green sensation on the next one. 💪 💚💛❤️

C’est vraiment magnifique de la voir fleurir. Elle démontre constamment une belle vigueur. Ont voit déjà que les pépites seront compact. Avec les nutriments organiques qui favorisent la production de terpènes c’est à tomber par terre. Moins fidèle à la pure skunk elle dégage quand même une odeur très forte , Extrêmement sucré et doux !!

Update 29/8/2021 Nothing much going on last couple of day's today the pots ran dry again so i've watered them and gave new nutrients. some leaves still start to turn yellow but i'm just leaving them as they go now. 1 plants is still not really showing any progress in growth.. the 2 others slowly seem to grow. Update 1/9/2021 Hey Folks, again not much action this week. picking some dead leaves left and right. but thats it. Really starting to think that 1 plant is lost. it doesn't show any more growth. we are slowly getting closer to the finish line. and man do i want to finish this.. and start a new cycle with all the knowledge I have now.😎 stay safe🙏

Another week for the first-time sailor. I started doing LST as I'm a beginner unfortunately my lack of skill took 3 leaves but the plants apparently did not feel the stress as they continue to grow and with the birth of new leaves. This week reduces the space for watering before 7 days to 5 days the growth is good but as everything in life can improve but I am happy with my performance and learning from my failures.

I had to change the light this week. To smaller lights because of some fan leaves was turn at the tips away from the lights

She's chunking up so much and just continues to get smellier and smellier! This plant's been getting compost tea and overdrive/ph perfect bloom only until end of this week, then I'll begin flush!

Added couple of pics. Today was feeding and final defoliation. LST adjustments were minor.
