I’ve been dealing with fungus gnats. Sounds like a common problem I layer the ground with perlite and heavily put diatomaceous on top let it sit for two days vacuum the top layer off and repeat. Twice got all of them I can see and back to a regular feeding schedule daily. I have yellow fly traps I’m gonna put on the soil to help keep them down. I’m going to get a drip system. So there isn’t much saturated soil on the top for them to breed . To prevent this next grow

This week I started the regular fertigation schedule for the vegetative period. I'm getting very precise with the measuring of the nutrients, I'm using some industrial syringes for accuracy like Dr. Coco recommends. The TDS is high - I'm working on it. Ginger Nut Cookies 16th Jan 2020 Well she's still alive despite me nearly cooking her by leaving her out in the full sun for too long 😄 Should have remembered to slap on some suncream 😂 Anyway Shit happens and I only lost the first set of true treaves and i'll refrain from putting her out in the sun for now. The reason I'm keeping it on the 16hr light schedule is because I think it will be photo dependant & I'd like to see if it can get a bit of vegetation growth before it tries to flower. Otherwise I'll only end up with a miniature plant and that would only be wasting my time . If it does sprout pistils during this lighting schedule then it must be an autoflowering strain but I dont think it will. **** Great Aussie Music Videos **** Last week was Gotye with "Somebody that I used to Know" It went number 1 for awhile here and did quite well in the US I believe. The last day of week 7 vegetative stage and the next day I’ll change my light cycle from 18/6 to 12/12. I flushed my babies with tap water last 2 days ago and so they gonna be thirsty and tomorrow I’m gonna feed with flowering nutrients. So, I’m very excited with the flowering process of they gonna be.

Day64/Flower16 03.03 Optimized my setup. I can handle humidity better now. Just in time. Puuh. I also changed back to hesi nutrients. Plants are really thirsty now. Watering every 2 days. Actually using about 12 liters. About 3 liters per plant every second day. Plants are really looking nice. Super excited. Plants are super easy to train, amazing flexibility. You can almost do knots with the branches. :) Growers life is an adventurous life...yeah... Day67/FL19 06.03 Everything looks fine. Planning to water them everyday as long as i'm not busy. Trying to figure out the exact amount of hesi nutrients..

I think I'm off to a good start. This is the roughest part of a grow for me so far. One thing that I learned from my past killings was to not get obsessive and that's the approach. I've got a way better understanding of feeding now. I was confused about feeding charts, thinking that it was mix and feed. Even though I checked the PH and PPM (incorrectly a few times) I'd consistently fry my plants to near death, bring them back with plain, proper ph'd water and then re-fry the next feeding. It hadn't dawned on me that the nutrient mix while being in the optimal PH range, mixed in right order and correct measurements, my PPM/EC was way too high for the stage of the plant. Yikes, I was feeding a toddler 3 double Whoppers with extra everything. And XL fries. You burn and learn I guess. The little girl was starting to look hungry so I took a shot and fed light nutrients with some hydrogen peroxide (will update the chart soon getting sleepy). I also punched a lot more holes in the bottom of the solo cup. Few hours later her leaves perked up like she was giving me a high five. Leaves are looking good too with a PPM of about 211. It's going to be a warmer weekend so I figure I'll crack another seed and put my 5 gallon pot to use. Possibly a photoperiod?

Nothing much to report. She’s settled in and working on full flower. Cleaned a couple low hanging leaves, no more snipping past week 3. Up to every other day watering, roughly a liter. She’s been a breeze so far. Till next week.

Buds are getting denser, stickier and stinkier this week. Defoliated a few leaves from each plant throughout the week. Watered every 2 days with a 1/4 gallon to each. They got a mild compost tea beginning of the week to boost the microbial life and their final top dress towards the end of the week. Aerated Compost Tea Recipe (24 hour brew) 2 gallons rain water 2 cups Coast of Maine Lobster Compost 3 tablespoons GS Plant Foods Fish & Kelp 3 tablespoons EWC 1 tablespoon kelp meal 1 tablespoon azomite 2 tablespoons molasses Top Dress per 3 gallon container 3 tablespoons Dr Earth Flower Girl 1 tablespoon Down to Earth All Purpose 1/2 tablespoon Down to Earth crab meal 1/4 cup EWC Day 43 - watered with 50/50 mix of compost tea and rain water pH 6.0 Day 45 - plain rain water pH 6.4 Day 47 - top dress and plain rain water pH 6.4 Day 49 - rain water w/ Recharge @ 1 tsp per gallon and Natural Wet @ 1 tbsp per gallon pH 6.5 StayWeeded ✌️

1/14: Fed today. The Cheese is getting fat and reeking with a funky odor! The Zkittlez and Bubbleguns are fattening nicely as well, but they smell more like candy. 1/18: Fed today and rearranged. Increased UVB exposure by another 30 mins per day 1/21: Fed today.

Starting to flush just ph water.
