January 14, 2020 (DAY 52) - Hey there growmies sorry for the one and only update this week, i got sick and just cant do it. i hope you all understand.

Flipped to flowering on these girls as the screens are now almost full across the 4x8 tent and we will still need to train them along the screens for the next 2-3 weeks. So working for a packed tent this time hopefully. Plants have been exploding in growth daily. Water was changed out and new water added with 3/4 Remo Flowering lineup and UC Roots at full strength. Smell is starting to get noticeable when you open the tent and is very pleasant.

Royal Queen Seeds Royal Cheese Automatic from Seed Supreme. Seeds soaked in water for 36 hours then directly into there final pots. They were standing at 1 inch 3 days later. Finishing out week 1 of the seedling and so far they look happy. 1-gallon & 1/2-gallon fabric pot sizes for there life! So excited for this strain!

New week

One plant is significantly struggling , brown spots on leaves, it is the tallest and all the spots are towards the top but it is growing a lot slower , no colour change on any of the buds , I have one picture of her. I don’t know what the problem could be all the other girls are fine and have been given the same feeding and watering schedule. However the other girls are very happy from here out it is plain PHed water till I chop. Couldn’t be more excited yet nervous ✌️🏻💚

Well there’s 6 weeks of veg down, tonight will be the first night of 12/12 with HPS bulbs in. I’m going to be running the lights from 9pm to 9am due to summer heat and hopefully the tent will run cooler at night. Everything was super cropped today to limit the stretch a little bit, she’s 95% indica so might not get to much stretch, I also don’t have a clue as this is my first photo run with the HPS. All light leaks to the room have been addressed with green bulbs in the room. I’m at least hoping to get an ounce per plant if more great just not really sure what to expect. I feel as tho there is still lots of N in the pots but maybe over the next two week they’ll chew right thru it. Maybe I should have lowered the lights but I’m just going to leave em at the top of the tent..... well that’s it for now, I leave tomorrow for work so the next time we see em they should have some bud starting hopefully!

Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap. Una ves sean transplantadas a su macetero definitivo(5 litros) se comenzará con riego automático, drip to waste, y protocolo Crop Steering. 20 Octubre(15:30): 9 semillas en remojo, solución de 2 partes de agua de ósmosis + 1 parte de peróxido de hidrógeno 3%, 5.8pH, 0.6EC, 28°C~30°C. Antes ser puestas a remojar se lijaron las semillas para favorecer la absorción del agua. 21:30: puestas en toalla de papel con la misma agua de remojo, dentro de un contenedor de vidrio hermético y sobre una alfombra de calor a 28°C~30°C, para aumentar la actividad metabólica. 21 Octubre: Pre carga del coco, con solución de nutrientes Athena en 2.0EC y 5.7pH, saturación hasta lograr drenaje, el drenaje fue de 1.5EC y 5.6pH. 21:50: Todas las semillas presentan radicula de distintos tamaños(1cm aprox) son inmediatamente pasadas al sustrato. 22 Octubre: 21:10, se aprecian todas ya brotando, se mantiene el ambiente en 26°C~28°C y 70%+ de humedad. 23 Octubre: 9/9 semillas brotadas, se ven algunos Cotiledones. 24 Octubre: (9:30)8/9 cotiledones abiertos, altura entre 3cm~5cm, etapa de plantula iniciada. Toffee n3 se atrofió por mala manipulación, espero que crezca aunque sea lento, si no, tendré que seguir solo con 8 plantas. 25 Octubre: Toffee n3 está viva!!! Estuve a punto de quitarla, y está mañana apareció sin su capucha, cotiledones afuera. Yujuuuu!! 26 Octubre: hoy tuvieron su primer riego con nutrientes Athena, 2.0EC y 5.8pH. Se regó hasta alcanzar drenaje, el drenaje fue de 1.9EC y 5.7pH. 27 Octubre: Se desarrollan a buen ritmo, algunas han estirado más que otras, alturas entre 4cm~7cm. 31 Octubre: Segundo riego, 120ml casa una, 2.0EC y 5.8pH, runoff de 2.3EC y 5.7pH. 2 Noviembre: Creciendo a buen ritmo, alturas entre 5cm y 9cm. 4 Noviembre: Riego 180ml cada una, 2.0EC y 5.8pH, runoff 2.8EC y 5.8pH, desde ahora se regarán más seguido, removí las primeras hojas, solo por comodidad para regar, de igual manera los primeros nodos y esas hojas se terminan podando pronto. 8 Noviembre: Riego 2.0EC, 5.8pH, 240ml cada una para aumentar el runoff, valores de runoff de 3.0EC y 6.0pH. Alturas entre 9cm y 14cm.

Hi Guys, This week has been pretty good, the plant at the bottom right just seems to struggle her way through everything, she has loads of roots, they keep growing but for what ever reason she look plain ugly and grows very slowly above the water which is evident when looking at the photo lapse I have uploaded. I bought a Torus PH Perfect capsule which is a chemical free way of stabilising the PH, since that has gone in the brain bucket, I haven’t had to make any PH amendments yet. You can see it at the end of the video. They have all been topped for the 3rd and final time around D32-33. I will train some tips down so they don’t become dominant, but other than that, they’re gonna have a free week or so of growth with no more slicing or cutting before I flip them😊 Hopefully the ugly one will have bounced back by then and I can push forward into the transition with 6 healthy bushes.

A big hello to all the cannabis growing gardeners...and all the other visitors that came across my grow journal. I'm a little bit late with starting this grow because the plants will finish around end of december or so, so i'm basically counting on a warm december :) This grow was supposed to start earlier, and I did germinate 11 seeds last month but only three of the lot sprouted out, it was totally my fault and i did abort that grow so we could start with a clean slate and at least four plants....so here we are ;) All three seeds popped after 36 hours in a glass of water, but thanks to my thick awkward fingers only two seedlings came out after planting in rockwool...my fingers are killers to most of my little sprouts :/ We were gifted Moby Dick seeds by Romy from Seeds Mafia to take part in the competition they are running. Definetly harvested to early. Buds are pretty small bud the smell and effekt definetly is better than i expected and looking forward to a real smoke review after curing.
