8/5 (Day 49)- The start of a new week! Last few days have been a little rough and I have unfortunately been unable to keep up the post. Dealing with a back injury so it’s been difficult just to keep up with the feedings. We are looking pretty good though and starting to feel a bit better. The last few days I’ve been slowly but surely trying to get a good defoliation in which I feel was needed very badly. Opened up a lot of place for light and airflow. Messing with the back left plant and OMG my hands got sticky quick! I leaned in for a close smell and all I can think of when I smell is candy, a very sweet smelling candy. It shocked me how sweet and yummy the smell was. All conditions for the environment are stable and kept in check. The girls are taking down 4-5 gallons a day now. Will continue to update this week. Thanks! 8/6 (Day 50)- Just monitored and checked in on everything today. Starting to feel better so not too worried about the change out in the morning. Gonna up the light and ppms a bit tomorrow then monitor very close the next few days. I think they should be good. Everything staying in check. 8/7 (Day 51)- Changed res and new fresh food for the ladies. I increased light power a little as well as PPMs. Going to monitor next few days, then when my back is 100% gonna do one last round of defoliation and trimming as well as put up the trellis net. I know it’s a bit late but the two plants on the right may need it. 8/8 (Day 52) - Just have been monitoring and refilling the res today. They are drinking 4-5 gallons a day. I also did a light light defoliation. I will be going through in the next day or so to do a bit more in depth defoliation to open up for more light and air. These girls grow and recover so fast. 8/9 (Day 53)- The two plants on the right are continuing to stretch quite a bit! The left plants seem to be short bushier plants, also im very sure I could have easily dont something to stunt them and not realize, but they seem to be pretty darn healthy. Did some defoliation, I've honestly been plucking leaves here and there everyday and focusing specifically on a plant when I feel it gets too bushy. They bounce back very quickly so that has been my method along with tying some branches down and bending here and there. 8/10 (Day 54) - Wow that back right girl is really growing. She has really been stretching the last two days. Just monitoring and adding to the res every so often. They are continuing to drink 4-5 gallons a day and all conditions stay in check. I did move one fan to get more airflow through the bottom of the canopy. I feel like I have constantly been moving things around this grow, trying to get a feel of what's best for the plants. ~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2201 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/29- Here we go into Week One of Flower! It's been a month since this pretty lady popped out of the ground and she's looking perfect with pistils popping out everywhere! Her 4g Gronest fabric pot was still heavy when lifted, and she looked happy, so I skipped watering today and will check on her tomorrow morning after the lights come on. Since being topped roughly a week ago, she has two new shoots that are emerging and she continues looking extremely healthy with excellent vigor and have a beautiful healthy green color! She's up to 9" =/- now and even though she's beginning to flower, she's continuing to stretch which I'm attributing to her having some Sativa dominate genetics in her....This girl has long legs! 12/31- Today was a 'dry day and all I did was refill the humidifier and some canopy maintenance, tucking shade leaves and gently bending branches. It's been a little over four weeks since she was planted in her amended medium and it's time to give the microbes a good feed so they can continue to provide her with all the macro and micro nutrients she needs so, yesterday she got a good watering with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with GreenGro's Veg, Flower, Green Aminos, Natures Brix and Granular Myco added to it @ 1.5 tsp/g and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 73℉. 01/02- Yesterday I watered her from the bottom with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann cal-mag to prevent any Cal-Mag issues before they arrive. I also have the HLG 650R set 36" above canopy and it's set at 60% power which is being controlled by a Trolmaster HydroX controller. The tent environment is on point with temp's running 70 when the light's off and 74℉ with the light on. I'm keeping the RH at 55-60% right now but will drop it as flowering progresses. Finally, I've been keeping the VPD in the tent running 0.85 - 1.05 which I'm happy with! 01/04- She's been doing well getting watered every other day and yesterday she received 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner which was then ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉. She's definitely a big girl and with her wide node spacing doesn't really require any defoliation, just some LST and watch her grow! She's maintaining great color, vigor and is progressing into flower nicely! (Monday) Trichomes are milky so flush week will commence. I’ll do a week of Florakleen only to get rid of any salts and nutrients in the root base and then just pure ph’d water for final week. Not rushing this as I wasn’t super happy with my last grow of Zkittlez because of my cure. (Thursday) Posted a pic of the first “dark and curly” as I like to call the amber trichomes. Smell has really shifted to a sweet, berry scent. The first time I’ve smelt weed like that.

The trichomes are cloudy and next week it will be harvested I removed some leaves and washed the plant (15 liters of water) It is just receiving water without nutrients... The fourth week of growth has begun, and our FBA 2504 from 42Fast Buds is thriving. After the transplant into a 10-liter pot, the plant has adapted well and continues to develop strong and healthy. Despite being an autoflower, we're experimenting with a 12/12 light cycle, and so far, the results look promising. The temperature remains stable, reaching up to 30°C during the day, with an average of 27°C–28°C. Humidity is maintained between 60% and 65%, providing optimal conditions for growth. The plant has grown noticeably, now standing between 20 and 25 cm, with well-developed foliage. We've started applying low-stress training (LST) to shape its structure, encouraging better light penetration and maximizing potential yields. Day 15: 3 nodes now visible on both plants. Day 16: Lights lowered. Canopy now at 20000 lux. At 22" from the canopy, my light is hanging lower than recommended by HLG but I am using a lux meter to ensure the amount of light isn't too much for my plants. I'm at home almost all day almost everyday so it's the perfect time for daily lowering of the lights and monitoring carefully. Day 17: Lowered light to increase LUX readings by another 50%. Canopy now at 30000LUX. One more lowering should bring us into optimal amount of light. Noticed a slight amount of curling on leaves last night so upped the ProCal just slightly. I make my mix using pre dosed calmag & potassium silicate water. I adjusted the final EC with this water to ensure calmag levels remain high enough to prevent the coco from "stealing" it in its own cation exchange points. Ended up adding Green Planet GPH Uptake to the lineup today for the PM feeding. Will continue at recommended dosage going forward. Also picked a foliar calmag. Made a foliar spray with recommended dose of GP Ocean Magic as well; adjusted pH to appropriate level. Did one application then ditched the Ocean Magic as you're only to use this as a foliar once weekly. Made calmag foliar spray and am now regularly using this in my mister. This will allow me to adjust with plain water as to keep the EC down and my nutrient mix stronger. Also had a revelation! Root Guard and GPH Uptake have very minimal impact on EC so therefore can be added after dilution as to insure a full dose of each of these are being applied at each feeding. Day 18: Ladies doing so great now in veg phase of growth. Calmag and Ocean Magic foliar application yesterday and continued Calmag applications throughout the day seem to have really given them a boost. Adding GPH Uptake seems to be a great addition to the lineup. It will take a few more days to truly notice the results.Looking like only a few more days until the Lamb's Breath sees its first round of LST. Noticing a bit of leaf curl on both plants. I have been fertigating with a litre of solution twice daily. I am going to reduce to once daily for at least today. Will try for smaller feeding tomorrow morning and see if I can still achieve the required 10-20% runoff with an EC no higher than 300 points more than inflow. Ceasing foliar calmag applications until plant stops showing signs of oxygen deficiencies, especially the Blue Diesel. Added a Wyze cam to the setup which is awesome. I can check the ladies all the time with out opening up and disturbing their environment. (THIS IS THE POINT WHERE LIGHT BURN WAS FIRST VISIBLE BUT I WASN'T AWARE!) Day 19: EC rose dramatically as i skipped evening fertigation (Day 18). This is NOT a recommended course of action. I was trying to adjust for what looks like oxygen deprivation to the root system of the Blue Diesel (IT WAS ACTUALLY TOO MUCH LIGHT!). I think this plant is lagging behind the Lamb's Breath a bit due to being bleached (TOO MUCH LIGHT!). I believe this may be the root problem (hahahaha!) and why it is a bit behind the Lamb's Breath. Droopy leaves are usually indicative of an over saturation of water in your media. I will fertigate 3 times today to correct EC issues. Still keeping EC to just under 1000 microsiemens. Reducing volume of solution given to the Blue Diesel by half. Day 20: Started LST on the Lamb's Breath. Slowly raising EC back up to ~1000 for the Blue Dream. Lowered the light by about an inch and shuffled the plants just a bit to get optimal light saturation. Everything chugging along at this point now. Day 21 & 22: Soooo I lowered my light too much. Started noticing signs of light burn on the LB. Watched some videos, read some articles then found my manufacturer's recommended hanging height. This HLG 100 V2 should be at 24" for veg stage. So thats where it got put back up to. Measured 20000LUX on the meter still which is within optimal range. I'm sure with the light up higher, the penetration to the lower canopy will be better due to the reflective walls of the tent. I removed the first pipe cleaner of LST on the LB to let it grow up toward the light a bit more. The one day of being tied down has had a dramatic effect on the production of branches lower down. I'll (probably) let it ride out for this week to allow unfettered growth before starting to tie down new branches. Days 23-26: Everything rolling. Figured out optimal EC is around 800 for inflow for both plants. Thinking this may be the optimal inflow EC for the Green Planet Line. Decided to pick up an HLG 65 V2 4000K light as well as an HLG 135w RSpec. Both are KILLER lights for sure. The 65 has really helped in veg phase. I would highly recommend it! Optimal light hanging height ended up being around 24" for the 65 which is manufacturers recommended height. Can't wait to see what the 135w fixture can do. Day 27: Switched lights to the HLG 135w RSpec today. Lowered light down to 90 watts so the lights aren't too much of a change from one day to the next. They are about 50% brighter than the HLG 65 V2 4000K when hung up to the maximum height my tent will allow. It looks to be a sweet light and the plants are getting new hues of green showing almost immediately.
