- Luz: Bestva Pro 1000W / 18 h/d -FloraNova Bloom G.Hydroponics: 0.7ml/l - Bio Bud G. Hydroponics 2.5ml/l - Armour SI G. 🌱 Week 4 Veg: Thriving Despite the Chill 🌟 As we close out Week 4 of veg, I couldn’t be more impressed with how resilient and strong the Zamnesia Runtz are growing! Despite the freezing cold temperatures outside—evident in some snapshots of my frosty mint plants in the veggie garden—these beauties are thriving in their cozy indoor setup. The Aptus Holland Nutrient Spray: A Deep Dive This week, I treated the Runtz to a refreshing shower with Aptus Holland’s nutrient spray, a game-changer in plant health and vigor. Let’s break it down: • What Is It? Aptus nutrient sprays are foliar feeds designed to deliver essential nutrients directly to the leaves. They provide immediate uptake, bypassing the roots and giving the plant a quick boost in vitality. • Why Use It? Foliar feeding is especially beneficial during veg because it enhances nutrient absorption and promotes lush, healthy foliage. It’s also a fantastic way to supplement nutrients if the roots are growing but not yet absorbing nutrients at peak efficiency. • What Does It Do? Aptus sprays improve plant metabolism, strengthen cellular structure, and boost resistance to environmental stresses—perfect for battling those colder temps! • How I Applied It I used a fine mist to ensure even coverage across all leaves, aiming for the undersides where stomata are most active. Afterward, the plants looked vibrant and energized, ready to keep pushing those gorgeous leaves. A New Partnership: Grove Bags and TerpLoc Technology I’m thrilled to announce a new partnership with Grove Bags! Known for their TerpLoc technology, these bags are a true revolution in cannabis storage and curing. • Why Grove Bags? Grove Bags are designed to create the perfect microclimate for cannabis. Their TerpLoc technology helps preserve terpenes—the essential oils responsible for the flavor, aroma, and effects of cannabis—by locking them in while allowing oxygen and moisture to escape. • How They Work TerpLoc bags combine several unique layers: • Moisture Control: Maintains ideal humidity levels to prevent over-drying or mold. • Oxygen Barrier: Blocks excessive oxygen exposure, which can degrade terpenes. • UV Protection: Shields the buds from harmful light that can alter their chemical composition. • Why This Matters For anyone who’s spent months cultivating a crop, ensuring the harvest cures and stores properly is the final crucial step. Grove Bags will play an essential role in preserving the quality and flavor of this Runtz grow, keeping the terps intact for that unforgettable smoke experience. A big thank you to Grove Bags for joining this journey. I can’t wait to showcase their role in the final stages of this grow! Photo Magic: Nikon P900 & Sony A6000 Capturing the Runtz in all their glory is part of the journey, and this week’s shots were nothing short of stunning. Using both the Nikon P900 and Sony A6000 allowed for crisp, detailed photos that highlight the beauty of these young plants. From their vibrant green tones to the intricate structure of their leaves, these images tell the story of strength and potential. Week 4 Veg: What It Means Week 4 in veg is a critical time in a grower’s journey. By now, the plants have developed a strong root system and are focusing on building structure. This is when: • Leaf Development Peaks: Bigger leaves mean more photosynthesis and energy production. • Growth Accelerates: Plants use this time to set the foundation for flowering, with nodes spacing out and stems thickening. • Preparation for Transplanting: Root systems are expanding, making it the perfect time to plan for a move into larger pots, as we’ll be doing next week! Looking Ahead Next week, the Runtz will graduate to larger pots—not their final AutoPot homes yet, but an essential step for continued growth. This transition will help the roots spread further, setting the stage for a thriving flowering phase. Community & Gratitude A huge thank you, as always, to my sponsors and supporters: • Aptus Holland • Pro-Mix Soil • TrolMaster Ecosystem • ThinkGrow LED • Future of Grow LED • CannaKan Germination Station • Zamnesia and Plagron for making this Eternity Cup journey so special • Ziggi Papers • And now, our newest partner: Grove Bags To the amazing Grow Diaries community, you continue to inspire me daily. I’ve been blown away by the incredible work and creativity I’ve seen in other diaries—it’s motivating and humbling all at once. Good luck to everyone; let’s make this journey one to remember! 💚 Final Thoughts From the frosty outdoors to the warmth of my grow room, these Runtz are proving their resilience and promise. Each week, I’m reminded of why I fell in love with this strain, and the excitement for what’s to come keeps growing. Stay tuned for Week 5, where we’ll delve into the transplant process, nutrient updates, and more. Let’s keep learning, growing, and sharing the magic together! So in just the last week, the plants already doubled. GSC went from 11 to 22". Widow went from 8 to 14". Gelat.og went from 10 to 18". GSC seems to want to grow up quickly. Huge growth spurt. Flowered after 3 days. Flowers are developing well meanwhile the other two are just showing a few tendrils. Hopefully an uneventful week.

21 branches over 40 bud sites only to be handled with nylon gloves. Bent the top over slightly to allow better distance from the light she is much taller than I thought I allowed for. Not complaining lol. I stopped adding the fast grow a while back it just never stayed deleted. Also added an extra light down below to give light to the bottom 45watt led at 30 cm away from closest branch. End of next week I will be adding extreme boost and removing the monster bloom.

Well 84 days later ...in Flower its was finally time to Harvest . I sure had my challenges as a beginner and learned a lot by my mistakes and learning about fixing issues and keeping the environment Consistent . I did turn my 600HPS down to 400 as i was my plants were getting light burn and heat burn ..... lets just say i was learning all the way throw . it was exciting being my very first time . I started flowering too late late and they stretched and stretched ... i dont have much space ....lesson learned . I had to train them to grow sideways which did help significantly as did the lower my light to 400 watts ..my space is a square Meter and low ...... it was crazy but I really enjoyed it and there hanging ..... Personally I thought id end up killin them ...lol Thanks for the advice and comments they were greatly appreciated ... Happy growing .... Hope my next ones are Prettier ,,,,LOL Cheers

Volvemos a aplicar enzynabis

Week five marked the point where both Candy Hustle phenotypes shifted from building flowers to packing on serious weight.💚 Buds became noticeably denser, calyxes continued swelling, and resin production reached another level. Every day the plants looked frostier, with trichomes covering not only the flowers but also most of the surrounding sugar leaves. ✨ Environmental conditions were almost ideal throughout the week, with temperatures between 24–25°C and a stable 55% relative humidity. The plants clearly appreciated the improved climate, showing no signs of heat stress or nutrient issues. 🍃 Feeding remained simple this week. Both plants received one irrigation with BioTabs Bio PK 5-8, while all remaining waterings consisted of reverse osmosis water supplemented with CalMag. Water consumption stayed steady as flower mass continued increasing. 💧 The aroma became significantly more pronounced compared to previous weeks. The rear phenotype started expressing a very distinct Skittlez-like candy profile, while the front phenotype developed an incredibly sweet grape aroma that became stronger every time the tent was opened. At this stage, both phenotypes already show surprisingly different terpene profiles despite sharing the same genetics. 🍇 Bud stacking continued evenly across the canopy. The main colas thickened considerably while secondary branches kept filling in, creating a very balanced structure with excellent light penetration thanks to the earlier lollipopping. The amount of visible resin is becoming impressive, suggesting excellent bag appeal later in flower. ❄️ Leaf colour remained healthy throughout the canopy, with only a few leaves beginning to show the first signs of natural ageing as the plants directed more energy into flower production. Overall health and vigour remained excellent. 🌿 Environment Temperature: 24–25°C 🌡️ Relative humidity: 55% Watered with RO water + CalMag 💧 1× BioTabs Bio PK 5-8 Light intensity remained around 800 PPFD ☀️ Overall Impression Week five has been one of the most exciting stages so far. Both Candy Hustle phenotypes are frosting up rapidly, bud density is increasing with every passing day, and the terpene profiles are beginning to separate beautifully. The rear plant is leaning heavily toward a sweet candy/Skittlez aroma, while the front phenotype is developing an exceptionally sweet grape scent that already fills the tent. With several weeks still remaining, both plants look on track to produce dense, resin-coated flowers with excellent bag appeal and very distinct terpene expressions. 💚

You are back, we are so happy that you have no life just like me. Thank you for Zamnesia and Plagron for giving me this life tonight and making me feel productive, talking of productive if you want your plants to be more so then give them a visit. Now on with your next episode of "TFTC: The Experiment". {--💩===👻---💀===👽---[:(⚪⬜🔺) oO===Oo (🔺⬜⚪):]---👽===💀---👻===💩---} The whole bending the plants to create an even canopy is looking messy, but from looking at the plants that the biologist did this to, I realize that this is just how it looks, that they turn into little bushes, very cool. The three plants are growing quickly, keeping on top of their training takes a lot of effort. THe people were in a flurry of activity this week, lots of things were being done and it looked like there was some great progress. Having done the groundwork we now had a solid foundation to build from, there were a few storage areas and a barn that was built, the planting was under way and the community was thriving, there were issues however. The main complaint was over food, people now had enough space as we spent most of the day outside and only came in for equipment, food or sleep. After listening to everyone's complaints growing louder and more frequent, we decided to send out a party of people to forage for fresh food, anything that would make mealtimes more interesting. Another seven people were sent out including myself, we used the map I had drawn up to plan a route through areas most likely to contain things like mushrooms, tubers, and early herbs and berries. The world at this point thrived with spring activity, we found spring mushrooms, a few tubers and wild garlic that was forming large leaves on part of the forest floor. That night there was a celebration, people were soo excited for a change in food that it became like christmas for everyone, a massive mushroom stew was made using some of the dried ingredients and most importantly, fresh garlic. It was delicious, the fact that we had been working so hard to get the community going and surviving on nutritional pulp for the last month meant everyone was ready for the change in diet, it had a noticeable effect on people. The next day people went to their tasks with renewed vigour, they built, planted and planned with increased energy, we even continued to send out small groups to forage and maintain a stream of fresh foods to help our nutrition and mood. Watching my plants I realized that they might need something similar, they are in the tent now and thriving, yet they might need something to help in the new growth, so it was time to start using the nutrients that the guide had said for when the plants went into flower. After the first few fertigation's (I am learning fancy new words), some burning was appearing on leaf tips, maybe this is plant overeating, so I will experiment and look for the signs to tell me where the sweet spot is. It appeared important for the plants to have the right environment for optimum growth, much like people, they needed to have the right things round them so that they would survive and thrive, if we had opened the bunker door to a desert I am sure that people would not be as eager to be outside, or as eager to try and get the community running, in fact, one way or another it likely would have meant our death. I retired that night, wondering on the need for environmental conditions sustain any form of life, nothing can live in a place that is completely hostile unless an environment was created for them. SO I lay down in my Stasis chamber, away from everyone, just the bodies still down here… we should bury them soon. My thoughts on environmental design helped me drift off to sleep. {--💩===👻---💀===👽---[:(⚪⬜🔺) oO===Oo (🔺⬜⚪):]---👽===💀---👻===💩---} Still here? Good, let me tell you about our wonderful competition organisers Plagron and Zamnesia, they are wonderful. On to the next episode. I should have been a hand model, for farmers weekly or person wish smashed up hands magazine. There are a umber of photos missing, yeah you all know why.

Harvest day 70 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Until then, I wish you all a lot of fun with this update. Stay healthy 🙏🏻 and let it grow 👍.
