Well, what we feared, became a reality, one of the regular XTrakush plants is a male. This is why I planted two and I'm happy it seems to be only the one. But with the canopy going nice and full it hurt to get it out. Of course, I hoped to have two females but nature went its course. Considered leaving it in, to pollinate the others, or keeping it somewhere, but I do not have the space or light for it. Thus with pain in my gut, I went about getting her out. I notice a nice developed root system, very healthy, which was very hard to get loose. After shaking the soil off I have a rootball the same size as after my whole grow last time. I could lift the whole 57 ltr bag by lifting the plant. Sturdy stem, thick solid branches. This is what I was aiming for and it works. The soil again is proving itself to be a winner. The light this low gives some higher temps as expected, but manageable within ranges. The SP-3000 is performing really well and I cant wait to see the bud development coming weeks. I'm sure it will deliver a great amount of bigger buds looking at all the flower sites and the thick branches that support them. The plants seem to take the light well on only 45 cm. I've started adding the BAC Organic Bloom Nutrition. It is designed to work with the microorganisms I added with the micro life. With this I do a little bit of Calmag, but not so much, since I don't see any evidence of shortages, again proving my soil is dialed in for growing under LED perfectly. Bien pues arrancamos hoy día 30/10/23 la 2º semana de crecimiento. Las semillas se metieron en el táper el día 10/10/23 lo que quiere decir que llevamos 20 días desde que se empezaron a germinar. Durante esta semana se quedaran todas trasplantadas y dejaremos la 3º semana de crecimiento para recuperar el stress. En la 4º semana haremos podas. Planeo poner 1 malla de scrog a modo de guía, como si fuera los tutores a media altura de la planta. **UPDATE 30/10** Trasplante avanza, mas fotos añadidas en esta semana. **UPDATE 03/11** Trasplante finalizado. En cuanto terminemos esta 2ª semana de crecimiento podamos los bajos y hacemos pequeña defoliación. Hay que decir que la gama orgánica de BOOM NUTRIENTS me ilusiona, se ven las plantas verdes, sanas y las raíces pues de locos.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Not much to report on the Bubble Runtz, , she popped above soil on day 3 and is now on day 7 and is working on her 2nd set of true leaves. I started prepping the Coco Coir by flushing down to .4 EC and then soaking in water with an EC of 2.0 with Cal Mag and a PH of 6.8. I will let it soak until the seedlings are ready to be transplanted hopefully by next weekend or shortly thereafter. The weather in my region is perfect for cultivating seedlings as it is fairly hot and humid and I only have the Spectrum X running at 30% so it is not putting out much heat and I also have a humidifier running in the tent on low which is maintaining a RH of around 68%. I do have the AC Infinity fan kick on here and there just to keep some fresh air in the tent but no real issues with heat. This is my first run with Tastebudz genetics and super excited to try a cross of Bubble Gum and Runtz. I plan to build a mainline and flip as soon as all 5 mainlines are built, hopefully around week 7. This Medic Grow light is perfect for a 5X5, and the AC Infinity 8" exhaust does an excellent job of keeping the tent cool. I will set up an auto feeding system which consists of a reservoir, and some 1/2" tubing that is hooked to a submersible pump in the reservoir and set to feed for 1 minute every 6 hours through halo feeders connected to ball valves to adjust the flow. The runoff then flows via gravity to a 5 gallon bucket in the tent with a shallow pan condensate pump that pumps the runoff out of the tent when it gets above 3 inches to another reservoir. I have been growing fruit and vegetables for over 40 years and I have recently switched to high frequency fertigation in Coco Coir for my tomatoes as well, as I believe this growth medium combined with this technique is the safest, most environment friendly, and foolproof method of getting monster yields no matter what crop you are growing, and I have seen massive results in both cannabis and tomatoes. My goal is to have these ladies transplanted by around day 14-17, and have the first toppings done within 48 hours or so of transplant. I hope everyone has a safe and peaceful weekend. Week went very well, still watering every couple of days with plain H20 in the pro mix and perlite medium in a solo cup. I will be transplanting her to a 5.4 gallon airpot here in the next few days. The Strawberry Banana is loving the environment, at around 70% RH and between 79-83 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and around 70 degrees Fahrenheit at night. I am watering every two to three days with just a light watering around the edge of the solo cup. I have coco coir soaking in cal mag solution ready to go in a few days when she is ready for transplant. After transplant she will immediately receive high frequency fertigation every 5 hours or so from lights on and also receive supplemental UV/IR lighting from this Medic Grow Spectrum X. She is currently receiving the V1 Spectrum at 30% which is the blue/veg spectrum. "Regardless of experience, all growers aim to achieve the same results"... I read that in a grow magazine recently. At first I thought yeah a big huge yield, right? Well ya, and no. The best quality? Of course but I think there is more. Always learning something new. Doing just a bit better than the last time. It's been a good week and I hope the progress continues.
