Welcome to my Crocketts Confidential diary. I am currently week 5-6 with 5 plants in a smaller 2x3 grow tent. I currently have a 150 true watt LED light about 20 inchs overtop. These girls are something different. Very short distance between nodes. The smell is also unlike anything I have experienced. These girls are putting off a smell stronger than my flowering tent, its crazy! Almost a earthy/skunky smell. Im excited to see how these will respond once we hit the 12/12 cycle. Before that though I want there to be a somewhat significant stretch in veg. UPDATE: I changed out the blurple blue/red LED for a one with more of a fuller spectrum, and honest to god they exploded within hours. Excited/anxious/nervous to see what happens over the next few days, I'm sure this tent will be full very soon now.

Tent has been modified for cooler temps. Temp is now around 75* with lights on. Lights 100% on and slightly lowered now they can handle it with lil to no heat. Molasses added to every feed along with Biologics. Plants may need one last feeding as leaves are starting to barely droop. Might leave alone if the plants are okay and start to get ready for their flush in a couple weeks. Maybe a tablespoon of fertilizer won’t hurt and go extra hard when it’s time to flush. Overall happy grow! Gnats have infested the tent so tents been sprayed with neen oil when lights are off and tent is officially sealed and closed for good.

Day 35: They went into pre-flowering this week, I still gave them vegitation nutrients since they still grow a bit in this stage. The leafs look healthy and green. I't is getting warmer outside now so hopefully they will stretch a bit in the preflower stage. Did some Defoliation and LST again. Until next week!

I had a long week and a lot happened in the garden. The plants were growing too slow and their leaves were closing like they were trying to protect themselves, some of the leaves ends were dropping downwards, purple stems and I also had tecnical problems; the GoGro ( auto feeding equipment ) valve didn't work and I ended up with a flood twice, which brought a few freaking little flies, and the lights were disconnected for 7 hours on sunday morning by accident. To solve this issues I had help from the folks here and some research online, I raised my lights up because it was cooking the plants, i adjusted the ppm giving more food to stop the leaves tip dropping, got Calmeg for the purple stems, pest control spray, I fixed the valve a gave a pretty good cleaning with Clorox in the tent. There were good things too. I did fimming technic to make the plants shorter and to get a more even canopy to get more ligh to them and more flowers. The girls are doing great, they are 4 feet taller now. I learned more about how they work and how to take care of them thanks to some free online books and lots of youtube. It has been hard work with lots of hours of dedication. I'm loving it. Thanks people from here. Thanks GrowBoss.

June 14th not a ton happened, I believe I watered them (It seems I am having to water every second day now as they start to get bigger) June 15th - still just growing away. I went out and got some different ducting so I could pull air from outside better with the ac infinity inline fan. I also received some insulated ducting from Amazon that is a hell of a lot better then the standard stuff I am using. I also grabbed a new 9 inch fan (still deciding the best place to place it, for now it is beside the door). I grabbed a larger oscillating fan aswell to keep air moving around. June 16th - decided I would do some lst and then I gave them some water. I have been feeding nutrients every second day. I have also on every 3rd watering been doing just ph’d water. The humidity seems to drop quite a bit within 10-20 seconds of the door being open hence the lower reading. I am sitting roughly at 45-55 depending on time of day. As for temperatures I’m still struggling to keep it down during the warm days and it seems the highest I am getting is around 29 since switching the lights off from 11am - 5pm June 17th - the girls seemed to have perked back up after yesterday’s lst. Not much new today just some growth! June 18th - Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures today. But not to much difference. I did feed the girls with some nutrient water today. June 19th - I again forgot to take pictures. They are just growing away and doing there thing. I did check for growth from the topped portion on the bigger plant, no growth from one of the 2 tops. So I indeed cut it to low… I won’t be doing that again haha. June 20th - finally grabbed something to deal with the heat since it is getting hotter everyday. I picked up a 10,000 btu air conditioner. I have it set at 23 degrees. I also moved the plants around and re-arranged some stuff. I took the inline fan that was taking air out and instead the ac output is going to there. I ended up having to make the vent into a 6inch vent on the trailer. Temps stay around 23 now. Humidity is still 45-55 depending on time of day.

In week 7 the 12 plants have filled out the space inside the HOMEBOX grow-tent very nicely and therefore its time to switch to flowering. I change the timer, which I put infront of the supply of my SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs, to 12/12 hours of light/darkness. This will induce the flowering of my babies and they can start to develop buds. The BIO NOVA nutrients work very well, which can be seen in the nice healthy green color of the plants. I follow the SOIL-CULTIVATION chart from the BIO NOVA website, but use only half the recommended dose, because my tap-water already has a very high EC-value of 0,8 when it comes out of the faucet. Since I have used REGULAR seeds for THE PURPS from BC-BUD-DEPOT, I have to check for males on a regular basis. Two plants show clear male pollen-sacks already now (see above in video) and have to be culled right away. I cut the plants off at the main stem right above the soil and take away the plants and throw them into the trash right away. This way I make sure NO pollen can mature inside the male pollen-sacks and be released later and inseminate my babies on accident. In the places of the male PURPS plants, I put a MAC and KK-plant into the AUTOPOT-system, so all 12 placed are filled again. Now its time to wait until the first flowers start to appear. 👍😎

She has her own room now! Inside this VIVOSUN 5x5 the canopy is being supplied with 35,000 - 55,000 lux (650 - 950 ppfd) by the spiderfarmer SE7000. I also installed a UV-B fluorescent light on a timer to run for 30 minutes before the se7000 turns on. I did some light defoliating and retied some outer branches to open up the canopy. Feeding following the general hydroponics 10 part table for late blooming/ripening - subbed liquid koolbloom for dry koolbloom at an introductory rate of 1/4 tsp/gal. Also added GH Ripen @ 4ml/gal.

Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. These changes bring the nutrient mix in line with what’s most beneficial at this stage. All this precise dialing in is easy to manage thanks to the TrolMaster system. From pH to nutrient scheduling, the TrolMaster ecosystem and ThinkGrow LEDs have been the ultimate teammates in this grow journey, giving me real-time data, fine control, and peace of mind. 💯 (Not introducing UV light just yet, but stay tuned as that’s coming soon for an added boost!) Looking Forward 🌟 Next week, we’ll be upping the reds, giving us an even greater chance of activating those flowering signals for a smoother, faster transition through the cycle. I’ll keep tweaking and fine-tuning every parameter to make sure these ladies get exactly what they need to thrive. Big thanks to the TrolMaster system for keeping everything in balance and optimized, along with the supportive Grow Fam following this journey! Your enthusiasm, advice, and support are a huge part of this grow’s success. Keep following for more updates, and stay tuned for what’s next! 🌿✨ P.S. Deep Dive: TrolMaster’s MBS-S8 CO₂ Sensor & Smoke Detector 🚨 The MBS-S8 CO₂ Sensor from TrolMaster is a powerhouse for growers, especially when it comes to optimizing plant growth and efficiency in a controlled environment. This sensor continuously monitors CO₂ levels and integrates directly with the TrolMaster ecosystem, giving you real-time data on CO₂ concentration. Ideal levels of CO₂ can significantly boost growth and yield during certain stages, so understanding and managing CO₂ is key. With the MBS-S8, I can control CO₂ levels precisely, keeping them within the optimal range for photosynthesis. This sensor is a game-changer because it adjusts CO₂ delivery automatically, giving plants exactly what they need without any extra monitoring from me. Meanwhile, TrolMaster’s Smoke Detector is an essential safety device, especially in spaces with electrical equipment, lights, and heat-generating components. This detector can be set up to alert me instantly via the TrolMaster app if any smoke is detected, allowing me to respond immediately to any potential issues. Fires and smoke are rare in controlled grow setups but having this safety measure provides peace of mind and lets me focus on the plants without constant worry. It’s an incredible tool for any grower prioritizing safety and proactive monitoring. ~July 12th-July 18th~ 🌡️Temp: 🌞78-84 , 🌚74-80 💨Humidity: 🌞65-85%, 🌚70-80% 💡Lights: 🌞18h/6h🌚, 24’ from 🌱, PPFD approx-275 🌬️Airflow: 2 small oscillating fans and a 200cfm inline fan+carbon filter ~Day 15~ Plants are still showing signs of a deficiency or overwatering. I’ll continue to wait to water but will add nutes next time I do. The new growth on the 3 plants look good and the smallest sprouts growth is looking good. Started ph balancing and dechlorinating my humidifier water just in case. ~Day 16~Plants seem to finally be drying out after the overwatering, the growth on the 2 biggest plants has been stunted and the mutated plant is still growing funky. Smallest plant is growing well. Dialing in on the humidity and temps well. Close ups of the discolorations on the 2 largest plants in the photos. ~Day 17~ Old discoloration not gonna get better but it hasn’t spread anymore so that’s good. The plants are still growing slow though which gives time for the mutated plant and the sprout to catch up at least. Woke up to the mutated sprout producing resin like drops from its lower leaves and it had a noticeable smell to it almost similar to a concentrate smell of thc. Prepping the 2 bigger plants for transplant tomorrow, filled 2 fabric 3-gallon AC Infinity pots with about an 1-1.5in layer of perlite at the bottom then Happy Frog and Perlite mixed in a 75/25 ratio layered over top of that up to the holes. Put the plants in the hole still inside their original pots so I could adjust the lights and get them used to their new places. ~Day 18~ Woke up to not much change with the plants other than some small growth in the mutated plant and the small sprout. Definitely time for a transplant and some nutrients so I prepped them for transplant. I mixed up my GH Trio along with some GH Cal-Mag and Ph-down all in distilled water along with a separate spay bottle of rooting powder diluted with Ph balanced distilled water to spray in the hole and on the root mass. The plants were very hard to get out of the small pots and the roots were sticking to the sides while the dirt was falling out around them so I had to cut open the pots and manually set them in. Not too messy but I was scared for the plants, I watered them both approx 250ml of the new nutrient mix along with the other 2 plants who got less. Will check back tomorrow. ~Day 19~ All the plants have exploded with growth since yesterday, the 2 biggest plants have perked up and grown a lot while the mutated has sprouted even more leaves and the little sprout now has its second set of leaves coming in. Everything looks great and I have more confidence in the grow now that I know the nutrients and environment is good for them. ~Day 20~ Lot of new growth continues and the transplant and feed seems to have worked really well. More leaves keep appearing and the growth seems to be going at a much faster rate as they grow older. Getting the other 2 plants ready for transplant tomorrow and I will feed them all again.
