Once you get to this point in the cannabis life cycle, growing is easy. Using the Beanstalk line of nutrients allows me to only use water from beginning to the end of my grows. No mixing nutes, no teas, no anything. I adjust the pH of my water to the 5.8-6.5 range, but I’m not even sure that is necessary. I have never tested using water right out of the tap as it’s almost 9.0, but that would simplify things even further. Experience has taught me to simplify. This goes for all aspects of growing. I used to top and train my plants under a tellis. Then I would spend hours trimming and had jars overflowing with flowers that I was never going to smoke. Now, I go for a month of veg and right into flower. No training, no topping. In addition to allowing a much faster turnover, I can gauge the growth habits of my plants much more effectively. For example, you can see this Shiskaberry plant exhibits significant and abundant lateral branching. Not only that, but those branches are strong enough to support the weight of the flowers they hold. This means that this plant would be an ideal candidate for a ScrOG or LST setup where the goal is a ‘carpet’ of flowers. After running this cultivar several times, I also have an accurate flowering timeline and can approximate stretch to allow users to fit their grow. More on this in the future. For now, enjoy the end of week 5.

Harvest report for Ak47. Breaking ground to harvest was 91 days. Wet weight was 288 grams Dry weight =49g Power used for 13 weeks. 268.1Kw used on lighting. £80.43 at £0.30 a Kw Average 2.946 Kw a day =147 Watts power an hour during lights on. Dry weight from this grow. #1 49g #2 37g #3 46g #4 39g #5 51g #6 52g Total 273g True g/W 273÷147=1.85g/W This was one great grow and there are a few strains I'm really considering running again straight away. This strain is one that I want to grow again but give her a bigger pot. She has grown decent solid buds. One thing I have learnt during this grow is that the idea of cramming 9 autos into my tent was a stupid idea and trialling it with 6 plants was wise.

Day 51 welcome this past week I've had to deal with extreme temperatures that were somewhat Beyond My Control. I ended up having to put an air conditioner in my grow room because the temperatures outside were in the 40s. But even with the high temperatures my purple Bliss is doing beautifully and was giving me a lot of growth. I'm continuing to tie down the tops even though I am in transition to mitigate the height of the plant and to ensure that light hits every single top equally my hopes are that I end up with an even canopy of massive flowers.

Chopped and I'll hang them in the he dry tent and keep it around 60rh/17c for as long as I can. 🤑 Update: got the tent at 15c/61rh and wow the buds have a different type of firmness than before. I can't wait... So far my best grow of the 3

A little bit of defoliation in order for the side branches to reach better light. I usually don't go in to a heavy deforestation I just occasionally remove some of the big fan leaves in order to have better light penetration. So far the roots are going great not even a slight sign of bacteria or problems in the root zone. We have nice white roots and so far is all going great. Ill probably move them in a separate buckets in week 4. I'm not sure that I'll even have 4 weeks of vegetation becose some of them are starting to show the gender signs, so probably it will be like 3 weeks veg at maximum. I have heard that Athena usually are thirsty for CaMg so basically you have to add more. Plus I lower the pH to 5.8 and now the game is ON. I'll see in a couple of days but if I'm not satisfied probably I'll raise the EC to 600 with a little bit of higher CaMg for base. I don't even think that is possible to use LST effectively becose my plants are hard and woody and only possible way for me to deal with them is through scrogging. In fact im not going to experiment with cold light anymore full spectrum is the deal. So far I'm not touching the EC I'm waiting for the week to pass and to jump on even higher. It turned out that my clip fan was blowing the humidifier mist toward my flowers. I notisec that only two of the plants have this types of burbs and those are the once right next to the fan. I have changed the fan position and the dehumidifier positions and now I hope all will be fine. I have defoliated a little bit of big fan leaves and I hope in the end of the next week I'll have time to move the RDWC buckets becose I'm a little bit busy does days. I have lower the PPFD becose it seems that this is a bit to much for the flowers.

Let’s go Day 36 !!! This week went real great, girls built up a lot of structure, and stayed super healthy ! Today they got fed just water phd at 6.5 ! They been really loving that balance! I also removed a lot of under trim since we are going into preflower , so had to shave up those legs lol ! It’s really great for them , the love that airflow , but don’t take off too much or you could shock your plants so be careful ! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! ***** Week 11 growth - February 13 to 19, 2021 - Week 2 Flower ***** CL1 is staying more temperamental and will start to focus a little more on her separately trying to correct. She hasn’t been giving the most run off of the group so possibly a pH issue forming, could be a little too much water for her?? CL2 has been awesome! She was slower in Veg but her tips are up and she is stretching💪 Looking like she should stack a couple of those colas👊 Also, CL1 has more branching on her just due to limited access to her in the tent compared to CL2. 2nd SCROG layer in now....finally😞 Lots of work to do in cleaning up the lower leaves next week. Will do larger leaf strip and lolipoping when they start focusing more on bud development. Light is at 24” only pulling 310 watt, and the meter at the tops of the girls is roughly 28,500LUX. It is feeling like it’s a little strong for them but it’s close......the curling leaves is slowly increasing on the tops. Nutrients switched over to flower schedule and following week 2.....but so-called back a couple of items. Adding some other items beyond IPP line so backing off some of the ppm to compensate. Still only one “feeding” per week. Early flower so hitting the microbes a little harder this week and next and then slowly start backing off. I like Remo’s Natures Candy for sweetener because it has humic, sweetener and old school molasses, amongst other things to feed the microbes as they are in coco. Bud Fusion being used now for pk boost.........no more “red kool-aid”😂 Still adding Rezin from Green Planet becuase it seems to boost my trichome quantity.....Terpinator likely this week as well......increase some of the sulfer to increase aromas. Little more detail....... Feb 13/21 - Day 8 - 3.5L watering with CalMag @ 1ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml, Resin @ 1.5ml Feb 14/21 - Day 9 - 2nd SCROG added today.....finally. Plucked a bunch more leaves in the process - watering with microbes only today. Recharge has some molasses in it so just adding that. - 4L water for these girls with Recharge @ 1/2 tsp/gal - 320ppm and 6.0pH Feb 15/21 - Day 10 - today is big feed day....its been 7 days. - 3L each girl with all the IPP line as listed plus silica @ 1ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml. (Bud Fusion was 0.2gr/L) - 1325ppm and 6.0pH - Girls gave run off at 3L today so didn’t push past that. Feb 16/21 - Day 11 - some feed left from yesterday so added 6L of plain water to dilute it and watered into the girls tonight. - 3L full feed of nutrients for each girl - 800ppm and 6.1pH - CL1 is coming out of her funk.......or she has just been Hungary the last couple of days😃👍 - CL2 is looking like she is in flower with her thicker stalks, leaf growth in bud sites, bigger buds themselves....she is well into flower now. Feb 17/21 - Day 12 - 3L each girl with Terpinator and CalMag @ 2ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml, Recharge @ 1/2 tsp/gal - 775ppm and 6.1pH - increased light power to 350 watts. Now at 32,500LUX.......take it slow over the next week and keep creeping up. Leaves have a bit of a taco shape coming out and looking fairly serrated at the edges.....pushing the light intensity on the tops👍 - leaf colour on the girls is very good......tips are not burnt either. - CL1, cut two lowest branches from the main stem......they are not reaching high enough on the canopy........energy suckers😀 Feb 18/21 - Day 13 -3L each girl of plain water today - added beneficial bacteria and enzymes @ 1.5ml - 330ppm and 5.9pH - was looking for a little lower pH as I have not been checking runoff. - CL1 - cut off two lower main branches from her......they weren’t going anywhere......she has too many side branches anyway. - have to do a leaf strip this weekend......start of week 3. - light power increased again, 400 watts now. Feb 19/21 - Day 14 - day out day.......they have not had one in a bit. - humidity was higher today as door to grow room closed today to assist clones with more humidity. - CL2 is looking really nice. Bud sites getting larger and not thinking there is much stretch left in them to go. - CL1 has been slightly happier the last two days......added more air movement around her to help, So that takes us through two weeks of flower now. Not knowing these girls enough yet, I suspect feeding will stop at the end of week 6. That leaves four more weeks. I will treat the next two weeks like mid flower for nutes, and the following two weeks as late flower. Feed supplements accordingly. Mimosa girls will be taller but these two are holding their own. They are rocking ETS.......looking forward to seeing the bud swelling next couple of weeks💪👍👊🙏

Im Zelt läuft das Klima weiterhin ruhig und stabil und die VPD-Werte bewegen sich konstant im grünen Bereich. Insgesamt also sehr ähnliche Bedingungen wie in der letzten Woche. 🌱 Pflanzenstatus Die Ziellinie kommt langsam in Sicht, auch wenn noch ein kleines Stück Strecke vor uns liegt. Die beiden Pflanzen zeigen inzwischen deutlich unterschiedliche Reifestadien. Die Triangle Sherbet Kush wirkt schon ziemlich weit: kaum noch neue weiße Härchen, stark angeschwollene Buds und insgesamt deutlich mehr Harzproduktion. Die White Gushers 33 arbeitet dagegen weiter an neuen Blüten. Besonders an den Tops sind noch frische Pistillen zu sehen und die Buds legen weiter an Masse zu. Interessant ist auch die Entwicklung innerhalb der Pflanze: Die drei höchsten und kräftigsten Triebe foxtailen leicht, während einige der tieferen Seitentriebe bereits weiter wirken und teilweise deutlich weniger weiße Härchen zeigen. 🌼 Blütenentwicklung / Reife Bei der Triangle Sherbet Kush zeigen sich inzwischen klare Reifezeichen. Unter dem Mikroskop sind bereits die ersten bernsteinfarbenen Trichome zu erkennen 🔬. Außerdem stehen einige Blätter bereits kanuartig nach oben, und die Pflanze beginnt sichtbar, Nährstoffe und Farbe aus den Blättern in die Blüten zu ziehen. Die White Gushers 33 verfärbt sich ebenfalls zunehmend, wirkt aber insgesamt noch etwas später im Reifeprozess. Hier sind die Trichome überwiegend milchig, teilweise noch nicht ganz trüb. 👃 Aroma Beim Öffnen des Zeltes entwickelt sich inzwischen eine schöne würzig-fruchtige Gesamtmelange. Die Triangle Sherbet Kush bringt zunächst klar die würzige Kush-Komponente mit. Wenn man die Buds leicht berührt, kommt aber deutlich die bananige Note 🍌 aus der Sherbet-Abstammung durch – also ebenfalls fruchtig, aber eher cremig-bananig als süß. Die White Gushers 33 geht aromatisch eher in eine gasigere Richtung ⛽, mit etwas Funk und Frucht darunter. Also keine Candy-Süße, sondern eher ein Mix aus Gas, leichter Frucht und einem kleinen funky Twist. 📊 Fazit Aktuell zeigt sich immer deutlicher, wie unterschiedlich sich die beiden Genetiken in der Endphase entwickeln. Die Triangle Sherbet Kush wirkt klar weiter und reifer, während die White Gushers 33 oben noch weiter Blüten nachschiebt, in den tieferen Bereichen aber teilweise schon erstaunlich weit ist. 🔭 Ausblick Rein vom Eindruck her könnte die Triangle Sherbet Kush bald fallen, während die White Gushers 33 vermutlich noch etwas mehr Zeit gebrauchen kann. Da eine Teilernte hier nicht ganz unkompliziert wäre, bekommen beide vorerst noch etwas Zeit. Mich würde aber interessieren, wie ihr das handhaben würdet: Würdet ihr in so einer Situation schon separat die Kush ernten oder beide Pflanzen noch zusammen stehen lassen? Und wie macht ihr das generell in der letzten Phase vor der Ernte – gebt ihr euren Pflanzen noch eine Trockenphase 🌵 oder Dunkelphase 🌑, oder lasst ihr alles einfach normal weiterlaufen? Auch spannend: Zu welcher Tageszeit erntet ihr am liebsten? ⏰ Bis nächste Woche – bleibt sauber und gesund! 🌿 🌸 Flower Day 59 / 📅 Day 119 Overall 🌡️ Climate Outside you can clearly feel that spring has arrived. Inside the tent the climate remains calm and stable and the VPD values stay consistently in the optimal range. Overall the conditions are very similar to last week. 🌱 Plant Status The finish line is slowly coming into view, even though there is still a little bit of track left. The two plants now clearly show different stages of maturity. The Triangle Sherbet Kush already looks quite far along: almost no new white pistils, heavily swollen buds and overall a lot more resin production. The White Gushers 33 on the other hand is still working on producing new flowers. Especially on the tops fresh pistils are still appearing and the buds continue to gain mass. An interesting observation inside the plant structure: The three tallest and strongest tops are slightly foxtailing, while some of the lower side branches actually seem further along and already show far fewer white pistils. 🌼 Flower Development / Ripeness The Triangle Sherbet Kush already shows clear signs of maturity. Under the microscope the first amber trichomes can already be spotted 🔬. Some leaves are also starting to canoe upwards, and the plant visibly begins to pull nutrients and color from the leaves into the buds. The White Gushers 33 is also starting to fade, but overall it still seems slightly behind in the ripening process. Here the trichomes are mostly milky, with a few still not fully cloudy yet. 👃 Aroma When opening the tent a nice spicy–fruity blend fills the air. The Triangle Sherbet Kush first presents a spicy kush profile, but when the buds are lightly touched a distinct banana note 🍌 from the Sherbet lineage becomes noticeable — fruity as well, but more creamy banana-like than sweet. The White Gushers 33 goes into a different direction aromatically. It leans more toward a gassy profile ⛽, with some funk and fruit underneath. So not candy sweet, but more a mix of gas, light fruit and a slight funky twist. 📊 Summary At this point it becomes increasingly clear how differently the two genetics behave in the final phase. The Triangle Sherbet Kush clearly appears more mature already, while the White Gushers 33 is still pushing new flowers on the tops, even though some lower parts already look surprisingly advanced. 🔭 Outlook From the current impression the Triangle Sherbet Kush might be ready quite soon, while the White Gushers 33 could probably use a bit more time. Since doing a partial harvest here would not be the easiest option, both plants will likely stay a little longer for now. I’d be curious how you guys would handle this situation: Would you already harvest the Kush separately, or leave both plants a bit longer and harvest them together? Also interested to hear how you approach the final phase before harvest. Do you give your plants a dry period 🌵 or a dark period 🌑, or do you simply let everything run normally until harvest? DAY 28 flowering: Hi all Hope we are all fine and dandy in the grow diaries world this week. It has been a steady week this week with the ladies now focusing purely on bud site development . The only lady not really thriving is the smaller Mexican airline #1. It does seem she will be all plant and very little yield at this point but we will see it through. She isn't poor by any means but I do think she will have a inferiority complex within these beauties. Heehee Thankfully the other five ladies are powering on and producing some potential big bud sites. The stars of the grow are the Strawberry pie girls. These plants are huge and very, very productive . The lowers are developing some nice bud sites that in themselves look like beasts developing. They have really dense looking flowers that will no doubt become thick and possibly need some support on the side growth but seeing the stem strengths , they may be ahead of that issue themselves already. A perfect strain for an outside run for sure and with no training beside the tip spreading , they have easily now reached approx 4ft tall. The buds start really low on each limb with some node spacing initially large but the growing tips and main stem have a more stacked up bud appearance forming. I think they could possibly top my personal best for the autos at this rate. Both have about the same structure and bud building so I would hazard the same phenotype too. This is the second time I have grown this strain and the last one was very similar too. Very stable and should give some top notch nugs out. Six Shooter #1 is only slightly smaller than the Strawberry pie and has just as many productive side branches that want to show off too. Her sibling #2 was grown a lot flatter after the tip spreading and seems lost down low in the canopy now. She has a lot of buds tucked away but could easily be overgrown by the mexican#2 and Strawberry Pie #2 , if I am not pro active with her progress. As mentioned earlier, the Mexican airlines are both healthy and happy but the #2 is far more productive than the #1 . I do expect that the #1 will harvest a little after the others and that she may come through in the end. Overall these strains are genetic perfection this run . They have done their own thing with only the tip spreading being my intervention initially , and they have produced 6 perfect looking plants that are clearly different strains . From past experiences with these 3 strains , "The best is yet to come " with the development of their unique looking buds. Here comes some down and dirty bud porn only viewable to the faithful.!!! This week, I dealt with a fungus gnat problem. I used parasitic nematodes from Biocont. It looks like they are working; no new gnats are appearing on the yellow sticky traps, and even the weaker plant has started to stabilize.
