Since the last thorough watering a week ago, they haven’t needed any extra water and have been growing nicely. But yesterday it was 38 degrees in Berlin again, so I took that as an opportunity to start watering the Autopots. I’m uploading a video showing the reservoir filling with water - be warned, though, it's extremely boring. Unlike other countries in Central Europe, there are currently no major forest fires in Germany. However, the heat means the air is unusually humid. Instead of seeping into the soil, rain evaporates straight away. In many places, people are already banned from watering their gardens because there isn’t enough groundwater. It just makes me so sad and angry. It’s good to have an indoor grow box where I can control some of the environmental factors. Otherwise, my little hobby would be in serious jeopardy this year. Day 50 Friday 17/05/24 I attempted to try mainline her, failed 😅 But I think I'm learning the fundamentals of this method. She seems to have exploded since I did it. The tops seem to have a surge of energy. Seeing sex all over plant now😁 female first tell signs are awesome to see 😍 Feed today. Day 52 Day 9 Flower 19/05/24 - Sunday. Water today with calmag- Finally seeing her slap them female pistils out, and turn a nice vibrant green on her tops indicating the pre flower/flower stage. Since trying the mainlining and lollipopping, she really has thrown out awesome new growth development. Continually pulling tops back down via lst to encourage an even canopy. Day 56 Day 13 flower 23/05/24 Light water with calmag Wow, this one loves pre flower stress. Her stretch is starting, I've stopped plucking and snipping till required now. The tops are throwing so many bud sites out it's incredible.

She spread her wings this week. Lower leaves widened and color deepened. I added more Bio365 around her base to support the stretch and keep her rooted. No top dress. No sprays. She’s growing in silence, absorbing the rhythm of the light. Every new node a sign she’s preparing. No water was added this week, and the self-watering reservoir was maintained.

This week I had to remove my red light (sad because red leds are the most efficient one in terms of pffd per wattage) the reason for that is bleaching of the tips. Scientists found out that cultivars start bleaching if u hit 600 umol/m2/s red light (just red photons and not every strain bleaches). Besides that I did nothing to them. From now on I will try to keep the temps low but with a pretty small day/night temp difference. Now preservation of terps and maturing are my points of interests. Some nice colours are getting through … that was supported by some nitrogen deficiency. This was Not on purpose but better than burning them with nutrients. (Nitrogen is required to produce chlorophyll, which is Green. If u reduce the nitrogen towards the end you can support other pigments to come through.)
