What to say about this week? For starters LST was started this week. Initially I used garden ties but soon after replaced them with 6” garden staples . 2 of the 6 girls began throwing pistals resulting from the LST starting around day 15 YIKES 😬. The Zkittlez & the Runtz both from (Expert Seeds ) began giving the 5x5 its first smells . The LST so far has been a pleasure no ooosy daisies so far & the girls are showing what they are made of . The secondary shoots have great potential to form a nice round bush that I can train out into an even-as-possible canopy . Today is day 21 & day 20 for this bunch . They are only using Gaia Green dry amendments for feedings but I decided to take some advice given to another grower & supplement my girls with some compost tea . NO I DONT THINK THEY NEED ANYTHING ADDITIONALLY IM REALLY HAPPY SO FAR WITH MY NUTES bbbbuuuuuttttttt in the short chance that my ladies may take a liking to an occasional tea & reward my pampering with large , long , frosty, stacked cola’s . . Thennnn I’m supplementing , I consider this all “4-play” for my ladies Ik a giver 🤷‍♀️😭 My only concerns are racing against this clock to get as much size & solid structure before flowering sets in I’ve really got my heart set on a certain outcome & I’m one for a good challenge. Finally , atleast as much as I can remember, I increased the dimmer knob on the light from 65% to about 78%. I won’t increase the watts any higher until bloom sets in fully & at that point I’ll be turning it to 100% raising it a maybe 6 inches & watching patiently for my girls to start praying 🙏 to it . Week 3 in the books !

These things have been chunking up very nicely in the past 2 weeks. The only 2 plants that I grew where i have pulled 0 buds with botrytis from!! These were the most amazing strains to grow from seedling right up to end of flowering!! I am 100% going to be growing many many WICKED GENETICS strains over this winter I cannot wait so much chem and sour and kush strains going to be an amazing winter for me and my friends!!! Like every time, I have a lot of springtails in my soil, hopefully it's not an issue. I added some strings to the Wedding Cheesecake because some branches are bending as the buds are getting bigger.

Grown out this week and got them ready for the early flower growth. Trimmed heavy and wired all branches away from each other. LST in full effect. Hoping it’s not too much trauma for them.. they proved me wrong. Bounced back with vigor and bright excitement! Eager to see these buds start forming 👀

2/4: Photo session day! These are the fastest, most vigorously growing plants in the garden, but also the slowest to flower.😕 I had a total infestation of Cattus (felis) which I documented in my photos. Eradication seems impossible, so I'm opting to allow a degree of predation, but hoping trichome production will, at least, deter them soon.😁 2/5: I fed everybody today with about 3/4 gallon and sprayed them down with Axiom harpin proteins for the last time this run. I made a DIY CO2 generator today using a 5 gallon cat litter bucket, a small aquarium pump, some air line tubing, and a bubble stone, plus 6 cups of sugar and 30 grams of wine yeast in 2 gallons of warm water. I put the tube where the CO2 is exhausted up against the back of the oscillating fan that aims down over the plants so they are being constantly forcefully bombarded with high levels of CO2(1300+ppm) from above. I set the ac infinity controller to allow the temps to climb up to 89f before the fan turns on. 2/6: These girls are taller than anybody else in the garden, and still stretching (unfortunately). Surprisingly, they're also the slowest to pop pistils. They are flowering, but slow as hell for an indica dominant strain. I probably should have left them all in the dark for a full day when I switched to flower to encourage them to flip faster. I bought some Gro-Pro pot risers to elevate the pots so that they will dry out faster..seem pretty effective. 2/7: I foliar fed with big bloom and tiger bloom today. 2/8: I ordered a second 6" AC Infinity fan to connect to my controller, some ducting, and a diffuser which I'll mount to the wall, down near the floor. The fan unit will be in another closet, adjacent to the garden closet, and I'll run ducting up through that closet ceiling into the attic, with a filter on the end to keep bugs and particulates out. For the next 6 weeks or so, it will provide a supply of colder fresh air. I did the math, and it will now only take about 1 minute and 40 seconds to completely exchange the air in the closet. Depending on the outside air temp at the time, it should take anywhere between 8 and 20 minutes for the closet to heat back up to 80f and the fans to kick back on again. This Spring, on days when it's not cooler than 72f, I'll disconnect the duct in the closet and stretch it into that bedroom, clipped to the window unit air conditioner output, cranked down as low as it will go. This Summer, I'm gonna just run a pair of the quantum boards and grow 4 or 5 autos in there, but this should help keep the temps cooler in summer as well, without dedicating an air conditioner to the grow op.🙏 2/9: I foliar fed them with grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom and checked moisture in their pots. They're due for a good watering tomorrow.

happy new year, everyone! plants are thriving, stretch is happening and the experimental is showing buds already (it's been switched one week earlier) 😊 --- another major defoliation done – Barney claimed that lateral branching is heavy and it's indeed 😂

After defoliating both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants after week 11 they now develop more and amore flower clusters, since the light can penetrate deeper int the canopy now. The plants are producing trichomes like crazy, even the bigger sugar leaves are covered in them! VERY FROSTY PLANTS! The flower clusters clearly form colas now along all side branches and both plants fill up nicely. The smell is now strong and sweet with a clear peach aroma to it, it makes me smile every time I look into the tent. The plants love the Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule and are getting the recommended dose every watering.

Hello growers, everything is getting super frosty, but i noticed that almost all hairs are turning orange allready, anyone knows why that is maybe? Other than that the girls are coming along nicely. My camera broke so i'm using my phone this week, sorry if bad quality Good growing everyone 👍😀

@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Seedling popped above ground 05-05-2020. It is a bit difficult tracking temperatures and humidity since shes growing basically outside. Humidity ranges from like 20%-90% throughout the day/night. Temperatures differ every day depending on the weather as this small plastic greenhouse does not really contain any heat. The timelapse is not optimal at this moment as the camera's time was off by 2 hours and starts/stops timelapses based on sun up-down. Timelapse uploaded, more pics on their way.

It’s really difficult trying to figure out the watering at this point. Besides that and the lighting everything else seems to be easier to control due to the technology. The human nature aspect and learning about my medicine and how the plants start to develop more growth and require different needs and attention in each stage is fascinating. It’s my first time and trying to mash up all the information I read online. Well anyways to everyone reading and doing their thing, thanks for all the support and here’s my part 2… Currently feeding distilled water every time I feel my fingers in the dirt are dry about 4” down. I’m scared to water till run off at this point as the roots are still young. I Fed 1/2 cup great white on 12/8 12/11 morning, showed first sign of vegetational stage(7sets of true leaves). 12/11 pm fed nutes(called advance and the guy was great very informative and helpful. Said for autoflowers to give half the dosage that is printed because those measurements are for photo’s) 2mil sense grow ph perfect a 2mil sense grow ph perfect b 4mil voodoo juice 4mil b-52 Mix all these into 1 gallon distilled in order from top to bottom. Then I fed 1/2 cup of that mix to each plant. Used cheap Amazon test kit 270ppm/ water temp 67 / water ph 5.75 12/12 am low stress training I forgot to mention that I increased the dimming from 4-6 on my light which gives the plants 420par ;) and I think 17000lux gotta learn how to use yet another cheap Amazon tool. Hey it works to give a general idea and as long as the numbers are consistent then why not use it as a reference.
