But as we approach the final stretch, it’s a delicate dance of vigilance and care to ensure a clean and bountiful harvest. Here’s a deep dive into this exciting and educational week: The “Flush” in Full Swing The flush continues as we prepare the ladies for their final days. While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. She smell like candy

This Permanent Marker is a smaller plant, only about 4 inches tall. But what it lacks in size, it makes up for in those super distinct wide leaves that make it a standout. While it's a steady grower, it does have a big appetite, always seeming to need more nutrients. The other Permanent Marker plant is also around 4 inches, but it's growing much faster than the other one. Its super skinny, pointy leaves are what really make it stand out from the rest. At 1st I thought this plant was going to be a dud but is starting to out pace the other plant. Happy late turkey day grow diaries world!!!! It's now day 24 from seed for all the seedlings I have going. The past few days the plants have really started to take off. There roots have really started to dig in. Every other water I am still giving 2ml per gal of fox farm grow big. I keep having to tell myself not to add any more nutes other than that. I don't want to fry my plants but I also want they to start jumping. I'm quite excited for the coming week, I think the next 7 days or so is when the plant really starts to transform and look more like a pot plant than just some random little green thing. A few days ago I decided to move the plants from under my 55w cheep amazon light to under my spider farmer 100w newer version light with the good leds in it. The plants will hopefully be ready to up pot them here soon and get them in the large tent. Sometimes when growing multiple different strains it can be really hard to balance giving to much or to little light. You don't want the faster growing plants to get to stretched out waiting on the slower plants to catch up I spend Thanksgiving day morning transplanting the plants into 2gal pots. I am useing spme promix potting soil it's my 1st time tring this soil. It is actually doing really well the roots were all white and nice looking. I think next time I'm going to add some worm casting, kelp, granular mycos, and a little bit extra perlite. I just didn't have the money with christmas coming to splurge for all the extra stuff. I got rid of 2 plants 1 of the bubble og and 1 skunk apple runtz. There is only room for 10 pots in the 2x4 tent. I will peob only bring 8 of them to flower, always good to have back ups. Yesterday I also stuck the plants back under the 500w medicgrow mini sun 2 in my 2x4 tent. They did great under it the 2nd half the day I was happy they didn't get stressed. I had put them under that light a little early about 10 days ago or so. I am expecting in a week these plants will ge going crazy with growth

Day 36: I bend the branches even more, cut off the top leaf that covered 2 buds, one of them is very small, I hope to give it at least a little chance to grow. This is a victim of a broken branch.

Did some lst on one of the taller main colas because I started 2 more and needed the smaller light for them. I turned my 150w Marshydro the way it normally goes so it can cover both plants and tried to get an even top canopy for both plants to get the most out of the lamp. I think the 1 is gorilla zkittlez I was thinking stardawg at first but the leaves are very similar to the gorillaz. I keep worrying about giving higher doses of nutrients because it looks like I burned them a little bit feeding twice in 1 week. It’s hard to tell the difference between defeciency and burn sometimes which is making me want to switch to organic lol. The leafy one is starting to bud finally it seemed like even after pre flower was in full bloom it was still pushing out too many Leaves and almost no trichomes compared to the zkittlez. I’m thinking that one may be an afghan kush or something. It was really woody smelling hazelnut almost and now I’m getting some pine hints now that the buds seem to be getting back on track

The funky one has the biggest new growths coming out of the nodes this is week 6 some ph damage from acccaidental un Ph neem mix that I use I forgot to ph but that was about right after the begging of week 5 doing good now looking less ph burned and the new growths are getting big . Welcome to week4!🤠 Fixed her discoloured leafs, it was due to frequent watering🌊 She entered vegetative stage only after 3 1/2 weeks of growing, so very impresive!😯 And I'm using a humiditor to keep the air at 60%😋 See you very soon!🤠❤️

Transplanted to a bigger pot. (I know, not the best timing because the plant just entered pre flowering stage). The weather is getting better now

This is the second week of germination, from here I think she's about to start her veg. Hopefully by next week we will be able to top a few if not all the ladies in the garden. Yesterday was their first full watering, we only gave them 1 gallon of ph'd water.

Sep 27: did a Final Flush in preparation for harvest next weekend.

Wish the buds would have got a little bigger but feel like that’s particularly my fault for a short Veg but overall I am blow away by the outcome for all the seeds to just be random bag seeds! 2 of the plants are drying now 3rd one will be cut tomorrow & the other 2 got probably 2 more weeks! Will do a taste & smoke report and also give a weight as soon as they dry & cure a little bit but honestly couldn’t be happier with my first grow! Thanks for all the support & help along the way & happy growing friends!🤙🏼✌️🏼🌱 Update on 1st plant - dry weight 42g, still smelled pretty Earthy when I put it in the jar but the smell is definitely coming out now, extremely sticky & frosty buds❄️: 1:🏼🙏🏼 Update - plant 2 Dry weight was 40 grams! Extremely happy with the out come this is honestly some of the best bud I have ever smoked! Amazing to me this came from a random bag seed, it has a very citrusy flavor, smells & smokes amazing! Honestly a 10/10 in my book, wish I could knew what strain this was so I could grow it again!😫❄️✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 3 Dry weight 34g, smells & look phenomenal, the buds are much smaller & had the smallest yield so far but this is by far the best smelling so far! Will have a smoke update on this one soon, stay tuned friends & happy growing!✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 5 dry weight was 52g it dried a little faster than plant 4 which I will probably jar tomorrow!
