Welcome to Week 5! Mother Nature decided to test us a little bit this week. The sun hasn't been showing its face nearly as much, and the nighttime temperatures took a dip down to a chilly 10°C, along with some on-and-off rain showers. Resilience & Care: 🌧️ Despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions, the ladies took it all in stride and have continued to develop beautifully. I’m still keeping up with the LST on the trained plants, adjusting as needed to keep the canopy wide and even. As for the roots, they are staying happy—I’m maintaining a steady watering schedule of about twice a week. The Magic Moment: 🌸 The absolute highlight of the week: most of the plants have officially shifted gears and entered the flowering stage! You can definitely spot those early signs of bloom in the pictures. It’s always the most exciting phase of the grow when they finally start transitioning. Current Standings: 📏 Lemon Cherry Cookies: Still the undisputed giant of the group, towering over the rest at an impressive 60cm! Letting her grow naturally without LST has turned her into a real beast. The Rest: Amnesia Haze, Banana Purple Punch, and Bruce Banner are all sitting nicely right around the 40cm mark. They are looking thick, bushy, and ready to stack some buds! Fingers crossed that the sun makes a strong comeback next week to help fuel this flowering stretch.

Week 7 (Day 49) Flower- Another week in the books! Pretty easy going this week, two feeds, they were thirsty, and look like they are drying out already due to the low RH and thirsty buds… 😊 I thought that this might be a 10 week strain or so, but this week the trichomes have really become cloudy, with just a hint of amber in a small few. Last week they were all crystal balls, this week almost 50/50 from what I can tell… I think it’s time to start the flush process with just straight ph’d water. Getting excited and nervous at the same time, I’ve been nursing these girls along since June, and despite really not having any major issues, I am fully aware I could still F@$k it up when it comes to the dry and cure! Anyways, I’ll be looking for those tips and tricks Gromie’s 😊👊

Today is the start of GC's 4th week. I started tying her down...evening up the canopy a little bit. I usually get rid of the 1st and/or 2nd node, but hers are long enough I went ahead and kept them. Her canopy really opened up nicely, and everything is pulled down pretty evenly. She is going to be really nice. I haven't introduced any nutes except what is in the FFOF soil. I will start with a small feeding in the next week or so depending on what she tells me. So far I. Super impressed with 420 Fast Buds!!!!

Hello, my green journey companions! What a thrilling odyssey it has been, and here we are, standing on the cusp of the harvest. The time has come for the Last Report Before the Harvest for our beloved Jealousy in the Power Buds competition. Jealousy, in all her botanical magnificence, has gracefully faded out to black, and the emergence of those stunning black leaves is a sight to behold. It's like the grand finale of a cosmic ballet, where every leaf dons a cloak of darkness, contributing to the dramatic allure of our green empress. Now, let's talk trichomes—the celestial jewels of the cannabis world. As they shimmer like stars in the night sky, the majority have taken on a cloudy appearance, which is precisely where we want them. The cloudiness signals that the THC is at its peak, providing the perfect balance between potency and flavor. This is the sweet spot, where the magic of cannabinoids and terpenes converges to deliver an optimal sensory experience. The abundance of trichomes, akin to stars in the sky, is a testament to the genetic prowess and care that Jealousy has received. Each tiny crystal is like a botanical gem, contributing to the overall potency and character of the harvest. The trichomes are the storytellers of this journey, capturing the essence of the plant's journey from seed to bud. And now, let's talk about the olfactory symphony that fills the room. The mix of strawberry bubble gum and candy is nothing short of aromatic alchemy. I'm glad you have a good carbon filter; otherwise, my neighbors might start wondering if Willy Wonka decided to open a strawberry-themed factory next door! lol The joke aside, it's a testament to the incredible terpene profile Jealousy possesses, creating an olfactory experience that is both enchanting and mouthwatering. As Jealousy rests in the dark for 36 hours before harvest, it's like the calm before the storm—a botanical meditation where the plant consolidates its energy for the final act. The decision to harvest at day 63 is a culmination of careful observation, from the germination report to the present moment. Reflecting on this journey, it's been a rollercoaster of green emotions. From the excitement of germination to the strategic moves during the vegetative and flowering phases, every decision has shaped the destiny of our botanical queen. It's like watching a masterpiece unfold, stroke by stroke, leaf by leaf. And now, the traditional shout-outs. A grand salute to Zamnesia for providing the seeds that set this journey in motion, to Plagron for the nutrients that fueled the growth, to Grow Diaries for being the platform on which we share our horticultural tale, and to the incredible community for sharing in the collective knowledge that enriched our green adventure. To my fellow contestants and growers, may your own green odysseys be filled with as much joy, learning, and success as mine has been. Here's to a harvest that exceeds expectations, to the culmination of our shared green dreams, and to the anticipation of what lies beyond. Stay green, stay inspired, and keep cultivating those dreams! With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself and always do things expecting nothing in return, with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will respond in ways you can’t even dream of . Friendly reminder: all you see here is pure research and for educational purposes only. Day 40: They got recoverd from overwatering. Leafs got darker because I gave them more nutrients, but gained early signs of slightly overfeeding ( Burnt tips on leafs). I had to boost them to fix it because there isn't much time with autoflowers. Now i only have to adjust my nutrient feeding with just 10 to 15% and its all good. They did stretch again, some growers love it but i think it is ugly and you will gain weak stems. I have to do something about the heat soon, because i want my buds compact and not fluffy. This will happen due lots of heat. I also have to start give them cal/mag, i saw first stages of deficiency. Not a problem when you are early with spotting it. Nice lovely buds so far Thats all for now Day 42: I have been defoliating alot to get the air between the plants. There are still some leafs and branches i want to get rid off, but i don't want them to stress out to much. Also i have killed of 23 smaller plants to make more space for the others. This is always painfull but stupid if you don't do this. If the plants didn't stretch that far due heat and low placed lights, this would not have been the case. I would still have alot of small nice plants. This was more the case for the gorilla's but it had to be said here as well since the Cherry Cola's will profit from it as well. See you guys next week!

Week 2 flower (day 9) the plants looks healthy and they straching everyday more and more its going to continue stretching till 3 from my experience. I added second trellis net (scrog) and raised the CO2 enrichment to around 1200 PPM, lights is on arouned 1000-1100 PPFD, I raised the nutrients EC to 2.0, so far so good. I noticed that the plants want more water they’re always hungry the want more and more. I never grow plant that drinks that much of water. Hehe. *update: Week 2 flower day 12 the ladies are starching alot every day, I keep an eye on them and I lift the lights every day. Don’t want to burn the them, I raise the EC to 2.1 2.2 .

The final week! These Auto's are BEASTS!! No more nutrients just leaching with tap water Ph between 6 - 6.1 the taps ppm is 200 so I will eventually get an R/O system. Really packing on some weight!! Had to tie branches to other branches to hold them up. Did a final defoliation a little late in the week normally I would do it at the start of the last week.

Attempted a kind of mainline technique again, this time the plants have really responded to it, and have exploded with new growth after every watering. Last time i tried mainlining i stunted the growth badly (See "RQS Blue Cheese Fem" diary). I have never seen a plant respond so well to watering though, its amazing, i notice new growth within hours of watering, every time so far!

------------------------------------ ~SEEDSMAN PEYOTE ZKITTLEZ~ ------------------------------------ Description Peyote Zkittlez is an Indica-dominant hybrid strain bred by pollinating Peyote WiFi with the sweet-tasting Zkittlez. Peyote WiFi is itself a cross of Peyote Purple and the US Indica WiFi strain. Zkittlez is a 3-way cross of Grape Ape, Grapefruit and a third, top secret, strain. Peyote WiFi is an Indica-dominant strain which is a cross of Peyote Purple, derived from a single purple pheno-type which was back-crossed for several generations to cement its qualities, and WiFi, a US Indica strain created by crossing The White with Fire OG. This plant is medium-sized with large, broad leaves and takes around 75 days of flowering before it is ready to harvest producing very generous yields of highly potent weed - up to 650 gr/m2 indoors and 1500 gr/plant when cultivated outdoors. The THC potential of this strain is very high with plants attaining 26 - 28%. Zkittlez is a sweet-tasting Indica-dominant (80%) cannabis strain which produces high yields boasting high levels of THC. This is a very colorful strain displaying green and purple colors with bright orange pistils. Zkittlez is a 3-way cross between Granddaddy Purple, Grapefruit and Afghani. It is suitable for growing in all environments and takes between 60 - 65 days to complete flowering indoors. Outdoors it will be ready to harvest during late September in northern latitudes. Yields are very good and vary between 450 - 600 gr/m2. Zkittlez' scent is very sweet and entices with ripe tropical fruits and candy which also follow through in the taste as well. THC production is in excess of 20%. The effect is very uplifting, especially for an Indica strain. Therapeutically it is used to combat stress, depression and anxiety as well as for those with ADHD. Peyote Zkittlez will make a superb, highly potent and high-yielding Indica-dominant addition to all seed collections which is certain to become a growers' favorite. This is one phenomenal cultivar! 😍 She was given Compost Tea yesterday and today was still fairly heavy so I skipped watering and just removed a few leaves to maintain light penetration, turned her pot and sat and chatted with her awhile! 9/15- Well she really must have liked that last batch of Compost Tea as she looks exceptionally vibrant today! She's continuing on her mission of stacking her flowers, which are developing beautifully and have a delicious sweet citrus aroma to them right now. I did not water yesterday, so today I watered with 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that was ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and rotated her pot... Damn she is looking great! 🤩💖 9/17- Yesterday I top dressed her with 1/2 cup of Down To Earth Bio-Fish then watered it in with 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that was ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉. Her flowering is continuing beautifully and she's smelling stronger every day it seems! I'm staying on top of tucking leaves blocking light and turning her pot daily as well. 9/19- Five weeks of flower on the books! We're halfway there now, she's stacking her flowers tightly going into Week Six and she's looking phenomenal! 🤩 When I watered her today I added 1 tbsp/g each of Kelp Extract and Fish Emulsion (both liquid) to the 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water she received, which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 74℉. ~Thanks for stopping in! Things should be getting a lot more interesting in the coming weeks...Stay lifted and be Blessed! 😎🙏~
