Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Ladies are on beast mode! Friday they got 4 cups of 4-4-4 Gaia green and 8gal of compost tea. I did some super cropping as there getting pretty tall and I don’t want them over the fence and at this rate there going to be! Hopefully if everything goes as planned I’ll have the boards or at least some to put up the next time I come home. We’re now into the 10 foot in diameter cages, a few branches started poking thru just the other day. These girls are going to be bigger then last year that’s for sure there already way bigger. We’ll see what next week looks like after some hst thanks for stoppin in.

We are almost at operational capacity .... last week of veg under this massive light for batch 001... included pic of veg tent which is technically batch 001.... Need help sexing the middle plant! it came from bagseed (black ice gelato) and I need to avoid crosspollination. over feeding but I'm glad i'm learning now ahead of next batches.. dialing in things nicely... happy with growth and health of the plants.... just a matter of time.... love the support so far ... please help me with identifying males if you can! :)

The girls are starting to wrap up their cycle. I have been watching the trichomes closely, and we are getting very close

Day 50 - Starting off the 8th week and she’s looking good. Filling in more and more each day. Gave her the first feeding of the week today and removed a couple dying leaves. Day 51 - No water today, she still needs to dry out a bit. She’s filling in fairly nicely and looking forward to seeing how this girl will turn out in the end. Day 52 - Gave the girl a full 3/4’s of a gallon of pH’d water. She’s definitely filling in a bit more each day. Day 53 - For the most part, she’s looking pretty good but she’s definitely got a little deficiency. A few of the leaves I defoliated seem to point to a cal-mag deficiency. So I’m going to give her good flush tomorrow and up the cal-mag a bit and hope that helps. Day 54 - Flushed her with a gallon of water and foxfarm’s sledgehammer. Gonna let her dry out quite a bit and then up the cal-mag and hope this corrects her issue. Other than that she’s filling in quite nicely. Day 56 - Last day of week 8 and she’s really starting to pack on now and looking good. Letting her dry out a bit more before starting feed schedule after flushing.

Nothing special to report other than she's smelling nice and spicy/sweet . It's a very easy to please plant and I have had zero issues so far See you next week 👍

6/22 Some pictures didn't upload but that's probably a good thing. As long as the video went up its good. I need to take less pictures. I'm glad I watered the plants in the back with a premixed gallon last night as we didnt get nearly the rain I thought we would. It's small showers throughout the day. The plants are getting enormous. A couple have revegged. Mostly the 10th planet. The others aren't anywhere near as impacted. Boy are some of these stalks thick. I chose to keep a couple plants that could be grown naturally without topping or fimming. I like to see the structure of the tree bit with humidity like this 98%rh it's easy to get botrytis. That's why it's good sometimes to have multiple bid sites so your proverbial eggs aren't all in one basket. But you do end up with a massive cola. I think that mk ultra with the big fan leavescis just going to be one giant bud. That's what it's looking like. Oh and today is the summer solstice. Longest day of the year.

Semaine 2 - Croissance Cette semaine, je suis satisfait de l’évolution de ma plante. Après la transplantation, qui avait nécessité une coupe et égalisation des racines ainsi qu’un topping, elle a bien repris. On observe une belle masse racinaire qui s’est redéveloppée, ce qui est encourageant. Il y a eu quelques signes de stress, ce qui était attendu, mais la plante est repartie correctement. J’ai effectué une légère défoliation pour aérer la structure et favoriser la croissance des branches secondaires. J’ai également ajusté légèrement les nutriments pour accompagner la reprise vigoureuse du système racinaire. Pour l’instant, je ne compte pas prolonger la croissance trop longtemps. L’idée est de laisser la plante gagner encore un peu en vigueur et développer quelques branches secondaires supplémentaires avant de passer à l’étape suivante. On continue de suivre son évolution tranquillement, mais pour le moment, les résultats sont encourageants. À suivre ! Week 2 - Vegetative Growth This week, I’m pleased with how my plant is progressing. After the transplant, which involved trimming and equalizing the roots as well as topping, it has bounced back nicely. The root mass has redeveloped well, which is encouraging. There were some minor signs of stress, as expected, but the plant is recovering properly. I performed a light defoliation to improve airflow and encourage the growth of secondary branches. I also adjusted the nutrients slightly to support the vigorous regrowth of the root system. For now, I don’t plan on extending the vegetative stage for too long. The goal is to let the plant gain a bit more strength and develop a few additional secondary branches before moving on to the next stage. We’ll continue to monitor its progress steadily, but so far, the results are promising. Stay tuned!

Week 5 - Same nutes from previous week. 2 more weeks of vega i think. Look ate the shape of the plant and the wires to hold she down. I have toped my plants 2 times over the past 2 weeks, and now all of their have the "H" shape in the base

everything in the second week of flower went well. she really stretched and the buds quickly started getting fat. also every watering i would notice a very strong odor of weed. december 22nd 2021: gaver her last half of gallon used in last feeding. also nothing was tested. ph tested at 6.6 last feeding and it usually comes out a little higher after a few days. january 1st 2022 i noticed the first trichomes.
