This week has been a good one! Not too much more stretch just simply filling up both the spaces with foliage and swollen buds! I’m now watering 6L every 3 days and she’s soaking it all up! Will feed strong for one more week then 2 weeks of flush :) Dehumidifier turned on and set at 40%, ambient air temp dropped to 23/24 day time and 18 with lights off, air flow changed up daily to really help her. Getting keen to harvest/cure/smoke and then put in the next round! 😊 I hope all my followers and readers are well and have great holidays! Keep growing, keep smoking and most of all keep smiling! It's been 4 days since I've watered them and there you have it #BOOM I can say at this point I'm excited on what's to come when I harvest this Gotti OG and Dtpg OG. This was a indoor veg and outdoor flower, these been outside since July 26 and has adapted to the outside like it's there natural habitat lol. There has not been any deficiency in there grow nor there leaves, I've been patient with a pattern water/feed scheduling every other day.

Fifth week of flower and it was time to defoliate the indoor units as they were starting to get bushy and block exposure to the lower bud sites. Quick work with the bonsai shears and they were ready to soak in the sun. I left the rooftop plants alone as I believe having additional leaf mass enables them to withstand temp and environmental fluctuations better. Whether or not this is the case, it was an experiment.

Week 9 Flower Report: The Countdown to Harvest Begins! 🌼✨ As the ninth week of flower unfolds, the room is a symphony of colors and frosty brilliance—a true gardener’s dream! But as we approach the final stretch, it’s a delicate dance of vigilance and care to ensure a clean and bountiful harvest. Here’s a deep dive into this exciting and educational week: The “Flush” in Full Swing The flush continues as we prepare the ladies for their final days. While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here. Big Momma has finally been transplanted, this is the mother plant of our East Coast Punchers and you can safely assume that she is a house favourite! I (TOH) have claimed her as my own, I was more than happy when I found a pile of boards that could be made into a single plant bed. I love repurposing and reusing, as you can see C.C. put together a small square bed that is tall enough to keep the dog from watering her himself… The bottom of the bed started with a piece of cardboard (brings the worms) followed by a good amount of soil from previous fabric pots (gotta reuse), the worm castings along with the fish shit was added and the top half of the bed was Stepwell Super Soil. A good dusting of myco4 was added to inoculate the roots, the bottom of the infinity pot was removed and she was placed on top. We had quite a good rain last night with a bit of a gust so she was braced by bamboo before bed, she has dropped about 3 inches so more soil will be added to top her up. Now the fun can begin, I look forward to grooming her into shape and the therapy she is sure to provide will be priceless for me because a busy mind is best kept busy! 💚✌️

8/9 The two half-feeds of Foop seemed to have turned the nutrition tide. The top dressing I applied (with mulch this time) should be kicking in over the next few weeks, but I'm leaning toward continuing to feed Foop once or twice per week to keep things moving along nicely. Flowering is now kicking into high gear... with the Pineapple Meatball being the farthest along and the French Macaron being the least. Ordered Lacewing larvae and wasp eggs (that are parasitic to caterpillars) on the way. Hoping to get them applied by the end of this week. 8/11 Insects deployed.

Chopped on day 62, danky, earthy, slight gassy smells. Rock solid buds.

This week has been alot better with managing the temps so that's was a good start, I have definitely seen some size on the buds since last week 😁 so I stripped alot of the fan leaves off now since the girls are in flush so should see even more size fro now until harvest, Happy Times Happy Growing 😁 🌿 STAY SAFE 😁

Partial harvest. Harvested about 50g early. Used my new harvest right freeze dryer to dry and cure the buds in like 12 hours @ 75F drying temp. Stopped the dryer early to retain some moisture. Will stop sooner next time as I still needed a bovida pack to rehydrate them a bit. Buds tasted and smelled better than anything I’ve smoked before(including Amsterdam grade weed). Insane clear flavours. Beautiful strain too, grapey like some excellently grown slurricane I had tasted before, sour and funky. Nice mellow high, very nice. You know you’ve been hit but you can still function.

8/5 (Day 49)- The start of a new week! Last few days have been a little rough and I have unfortunately been unable to keep up the post. Dealing with a back injury so it’s been difficult just to keep up with the feedings. We are looking pretty good though and starting to feel a bit better. The last few days I’ve been slowly but surely trying to get a good defoliation in which I feel was needed very badly. Opened up a lot of place for light and airflow. Messing with the back left plant and OMG my hands got sticky quick! I leaned in for a close smell and all I can think of when I smell is candy, a very sweet smelling candy. It shocked me how sweet and yummy the smell was. All conditions for the environment are stable and kept in check. The girls are taking down 4-5 gallons a day now. Will continue to update this week. Thanks! 8/6 (Day 50)- Just monitored and checked in on everything today. Starting to feel better so not too worried about the change out in the morning. Gonna up the light and ppms a bit tomorrow then monitor very close the next few days. I think they should be good. Everything staying in check. 8/7 (Day 51)- Changed res and new fresh food for the ladies. I increased light power a little as well as PPMs. Going to monitor next few days, then when my back is 100% gonna do one last round of defoliation and trimming as well as put up the trellis net. I know it’s a bit late but the two plants on the right may need it. 8/8 (Day 52) - Just have been monitoring and refilling the res today. They are drinking 4-5 gallons a day. I also did a light light defoliation. I will be going through in the next day or so to do a bit more in depth defoliation to open up for more light and air. These girls grow and recover so fast. 8/9 (Day 53)- The two plants on the right are continuing to stretch quite a bit! The left plants seem to be short bushier plants, also im very sure I could have easily dont something to stunt them and not realize, but they seem to be pretty darn healthy. Did some defoliation, I've honestly been plucking leaves here and there everyday and focusing specifically on a plant when I feel it gets too bushy. They bounce back very quickly so that has been my method along with tying some branches down and bending here and there. 8/10 (Day 54) - Wow that back right girl is really growing. She has really been stretching the last two days. Just monitoring and adding to the res every so often. They are continuing to drink 4-5 gallons a day and all conditions stay in check. I did move one fan to get more airflow through the bottom of the canopy. I feel like I have constantly been moving things around this grow, trying to get a feel of what's best for the plants. Had a lot going on this week so the plants didnt get any care or maintenance at all other than just checking on the water level a couple times. They need some major defoliation which I wanted to do this week but procrastination is the vibes currently. Will probably get some done next week.... the plants are looking good and most of them are bushing out pretty nice. They dont seem to be stretching as much as they normally do by this time, but they are transitioning to flower. Will probably do a flush and water change soon since they haven't had one in over a month. I'm just anxious to see some frosty buds at this point.
