Germinated in a glass of distilled water. This is the 6th seed I’ve grown from Fastbuds. All seeds had tap roots and were ready to plant within 24 hours.
I am using coast of Maine soil and an inch of clay pebbles.
Watered the soil with 1 gal of distilled water
and the seed was planted directly in a 5 gal pot in preparation for autopot spring pot system.
Seed was less than an inch deep and sprouted within 3 days. She gets misted daily.
At the end of week 1 the seedling is 2 inches tall.
Week 2 - Day 2
Turned on the autopot and used the nutrients listed above per gallon.
Week 2 - Day 4
I left for vacation today and will upload the last pictures I was able to take before I left.
Til next week!
End of week 3. She’s using the same reservoir as two older plants so she is getting more nutrients earlier. The mix per gallon is listed above.
I’ve just been tucking in fan leaves until week 3 day 6. I removed 4 big fan leaves covering the flowering sites, and she recovered well.
Til next week!
End of week 4, she is 12 inches tall. I really like her structure so I didn’t defoliate her again since last week.
She is sharing a reservoir with two plants in the second week of flower so she got flower stacker, and Sweet & sticky 2 weeks early. She’s handling it well with no signs of nutrient burn.
First week of flower and she’s starting her stretch. Did a round of light defoliation. I’m going to remove smaller flowering sites once she’s stopped her stretch. For now I’m going to let her do her thing unless she gets too big for the tent.
Heavy defoliation this week of fan leaves and flowering sites. I wanted to let her grow naturally to see her potential, but due to size and room in the tent I had to strip her.
I removed any flowering sites that were farther than 30 inches from the light.
I thought she would be stunted this week but she still grew 7 inches. Damn fastbuds.
Til next week!
Heavy defoliation this week on a really healthy plant. I added pictures of before and after the carnage. I also tied down some branches to fill open space and spread her out more. 8 hours later her leaves are back to praying.
Vertical growth has slowed down and she only grew 2 inches this week.. I expect her to stack the rest of the way.
Til next week!
