White Widow – Week 5 | First Signs of Pre-Flower 🌸✨ Light Schedule: 11/13 from seed Room Temp: ~30.7°C Humidity: 57–60% VPD: ~1.89 kPa Water pH: 6.0–6.1 EC: 0.6 Watering Method: Hand watering ⸻ The Story So Far This queen has a story worth telling. We started with multiple White Widow seeds, but due to an uneven heat mat (lesson learned!), only one seed survived, this very plant. She’s been with us from germination, through her careful transplant into a prepared super soil boosted with Aptus Micro-Mix, Mycor-Mix, and substrate buffer powder. From the start, she’s been under an 11/13 light shuttle, and while I expected earlier flowering, she surprised me, holding back, stacking nodes, and keeping compact. This week, in her fifth week, she finally shows her first clear pre-flower signs. ⸻ Her Look Right Now She’s not tall, but she’s perfectly built, beautiful leaf structure, tight internodes, and starting to branch nicely. The leaves are a deep, healthy green and carry the classic White Widow vigor. I took her out for a studio photo session this week, capturing top shots, side views, and close-ups of her perfect symmetry. ⸻ Feeding Update Up to now, she’s had: • Aptus Regulator • Aptus CalMag Boost • Aptus All-in-One Liquid • Aptus Start Booster Now that she’s entering pre-flower, I’ve removed Start Booster and added Top Booster to support the transition. Current mix: • Regulator • CalMag Boost • Top Booster EC sits around 0.6, pH about 6.0–6.1. Even though she’s in rich super soil, this light feeding supports her until the full soil biology kicks into gear. ⸻ Conditions Yes, temps are a bit on the high side at 30.7°C with 57–60% RH, giving a VPD of ~1.89 kPa. Not ideal, but she’s handling it well, no signs of stress. Hand watering continues, and I might keep it that way for the full run to maintain control and intimacy with the plant. ⸻ What to Expect Next Now that she’s showing pre-flowers, I expect a slow but steady transition. Being in 11/13 from seed, she might flower more compactly, with denser bud sites rather than stretching heavily. Hello Diary. It has completed its sixth week of flowering, a total of 9 weeks since Purple Punch sprouted. As you can see in the photos, the plants look beautiful, the flowers are large and hard, full of trichomes. I believe the yield will be better than I had hoped. The smell is very intense. I would also say that Purple Punch is quite resistant, along with them, as you know on "Farm", there is also one plant Watermelon Auto that has suffered a lot due to over-feeding, which cannot be said for Purple Punch. The treatment they receive is the same. Watering is every three days, I regulate or lower the p.H of water to values ​​between 6.1 and 6.5. And I do that with every preparation of water for irrigation. I stopped adding any additives the previous week so they get clean water. Let’s take a look at the review of the week. 26/03/2021 - Day 59. Watering. p.H. water I regulated to 6.4 Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 32% humidity. 29/03/2021 - Day 62. They seem happy and growing quite fast!

Я не прилагал усилий, растение само росло, справлялось с высокой температурой и стабильно росло. Хорошие показатели в скорости цветения! Даже в партизанском выращивании, ей понадобится не больше месяца для наращивания своих цветов и ещё один месяц для их доращивания и созревания. Этот сорт быстр и неприхотлив. Могу рекомендовать его новичкам, желающим получить свой первый опыт выращивания на открытом воздухе.

Well, I managed to do something that I really didn't expect :) the yield is small, just like the pot :) it was a wonderful trip ;) but from now on I will only grow it in big pots :) good luck to everyone :) I will add weight when it is ready :)

Hatte leider 5 tage massive hitze probleme mit viiiel zuwenig luftfeuchte. Aber 2 tage mit richtige werte und sie schlagen zurück. Alles weeder gut und jetzt schick ich sie lieber mal in den 12/12 modus. Da sie sehr zum spargeln neigen. In der letzten Woche zogen Geruch und Farbe zusammen mit den Bernsteinwerdenden Trichome nochmal an. Mega rot ist sie jedoch nicht geworden also wird wohl demnächst nochmal ein Samen in der Erde landen um die Suche nach der Lady in Red fortzuführen.

She is now in preflower showing budsite/tops. So far i counted 10. Still doing LST and did a light defoliation removing maybe 5 leaves. She is growing nicely with a decently even canopy. I have started 1/4 strength nutrients. Calmag, fox farms big bloom, and fox farms tiger bloom.

This week didn‘t started really well. There were big rainfalls all over germany but especially in my region. I had the plants in the greenhouse so they were safe but after days of rain the water started to drip into the greenhouse. I tried to keep the plants in dry spots but just saw that one of my plants had mold in her flowers. I immediately cut the piece with mold off to keep the rest of the plant safe. As I removed the leaves from the buds I carefully looked all over the buds and cut the mold and the area around it off. I also cut all the buds off the stem and will dry them seperated from each other and not hanging on the stem like last time. This way the risk of another mold infection after the harvest is lower. The next bad news is that the Painkiller looked really sad. Lower leaves were turning yellow or white and the leaves were hanging down. I decided to remove some big fan leaves and to cut off the yellow and white small leaves. Then I watered her good and gave her some self made nutrients out of nettles. In the evening the plant already stood straight again and looked good!

First time grower, criticism will be well recieved😀 Two plant ebb and flow setup in a 3x3 as a test run Top feeding until I can afford the rest of my setup🙄 Started seed in water balanced to 6.0 Sat. Feb. 29th Tap roots within 12 hours, directly into pre soaked rockwool cubes. Broke the surface march 3rd. Began 1/4 strength micro, grow, bloom and stress relief Using very hard water for the next couple days, roughly 450 PM out of the tap. Ro system to be installed march 6th Ro system now installed. Start of week 1 will be Saturday the 7th of March. Day 2: Turned the light down to roughly 50%, instead of raising it, due to the fear of light burn. Will look into it soon. Plants seem to have recovered after I decreased the light intensity. Fan and filter purchased. Alternating flush and feed cycles 12 hours apart to keep salt sats down. Day 3: Bumped light intensity back up to roughly 75% of the ts1000's capability or 700 "light units" from a cheapy 3way meter. Adding as much co2 as I can through baking soda and dilute phosphoric acid. Day 4: Exhaust fan with climate control installed March 10th Day 5: Girls exploded now that I have my salt build up figured out . Day 6: Light back up to 100% Day 7:little droopy on the one plant, gonna let them dry out a day Setup should be complete for start of week 2.(actually sick right now and having trouble getting supplies) Still need a flood table setup.

Again, a week has passed. I repotted the plants into their final 15L/4 gallons shoes with Plagron All-Mix. Plants are looking fine, not perfect, but okay. It feels like they are a bit overwatered and/or very slightly overfed because of the All-Mix. For now, I reduce the watering by 50%. Furthermore, I did a FIM on another Jack Herer (#3). The first FIM I did on JH#1 is looking to work out perfectly, as I can see the development of four new stems (check out the pictures). Great! The SP 3000's intensity was increased to full power, it's very bright. I am happy with the quality of the light. It does what it was built for and does it very well. Temperature and humidity stats are looking perfectly so far. I hope it stays like that, the days are getting warmer as summer comes our way. But my ventilation is currently running on intensity level 1/5, so we still have some room for maneuver. In addition, I will get a second oscillating clipfan soon. Next week I plan to FIM plants that have not been FIMed yet and let them recover. By then, most of the stress for the plants should be over and I can let them grow in peace. Stay tuned!
