🌱 Day 57 - Start of the Second-to-Last Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, Grow Friends! Today marks the start of the second-to-last flowering week—Week 9 overall, and Week 5 of flowering. 🌿 I’m getting more and more excited as my first grow nears its end. As I approach harvest, I’ve decided, based on my research, to stop feeding nutrients and stick to just pH-adjusted water for the final two weeks. 💧⚖️ Watering Routine: I’ll keep the same watering schedule—1 liter every two days, which is about 10% of the pot volume. 🌱💧 This should be enough to flush out the remaining nutrients, ensuring a clean finish for the plant. Temperature & Humidity: The temperature remains stable between 19-23°C, which I believe is ideal for this stage of the grow. 🌡️🍂 No more high temperatures to worry about! The humidity is fluctuating between 45-58%, and I’m keeping a close eye on it to stay below 60%. 💧🔍 Everything seems on track for now. 🌿 Plant Health & Growth: The plant still looks very healthy overall. 🌱💪 However, I’ve noticed that in the past three days, there haven’t been any visible changes in the size of the buds. 🤔 It could just be that I’m not seeing the growth clearly, but the only noticeable change is the daily opening of new flower calyxes. 🌸 Harvest Preparation: I’m already getting my equipment ready for drying after harvest. 🛠️ Once it’s time to cut, I’ll be hanging the plant to dry for the first 10 days. 🌿✂️ I want to make sure everything is set for a smooth drying process. Stay tuned for more updates, and as always, daily photos of the plant will be posted! 📸🌱 Day 62 - Last-Minute Decisions with Urgent Changes 🌱 Hello, my grow friends! Due to the trichome pictures I took on Day 61—which you can check out too—I’ve made an unexpected decision to harvest my plant a bit earlier than planned and make some changes. 🌿 Watering and Flushing: The last time I watered was on Day 61, using all the usual nutrients at the doses I mentioned before. But after seeing the trichome pictures, I decided to start a light flush today. I gave the plant 4 liters of plain water to begin flushing and will now only water lightly on Day 64. After that, no more water until harvest on Day 67. 🌑 Dark Period: From Day 66 to Day 67, I plan to keep the plant in darkness. I’m not entirely sure if this will make a difference, but I’m curious to try it out. ✂️ Defoliation: The plant is doing well, and I’ve done a thorough defoliation. I removed all leaves that aren’t sugar leaves or directly attached to the buds to improve air circulation and reduce the risk of mold as I approach the end of the grow. 💭 Trimming Decisions: I’m still undecided about whether to do a wet trim or a dry trim. Based on what I’ve read, especially regarding the yield from trim, I’m leaning towards dry trimming, as it might give me more usable trim material. I can feel the plant entering its final phase, and I’m getting really excited about the results and what the next few days will bring. Remember, I post a video update every day. Plant is growing fast now. The hot days are back, but we are still going strong.

These ladies are perfect! They smell really nice , fruity and sweet! They are getting bigger every day , but not that much buds on them as I expected. Hope they gonna grow few more weeks ))

So I started flower this week we've been flowering now for about 5 days I have around 10 or 12 tops around 26 to 28 in away from a plant with my light I have them at 75% flower production and stacking is looking nice I did some defoliation and I'm brewing a kelp extract and molasses tea for it all in all everything looks nice

Day 64 🌤️🌥️☁️☁️ 11-19 degrees and the humidity is around 65%. I started into the tenth week with an intense check of the main buds. Some of the trichomes are milky but the most are still clear. Maybe I‘m wrong. Some days ago I could spot some amber trichomes but the flowers expanded and it‘s not possible to find anymore amber ones. Watered 500ml pure rainwater. Day 65 🌤️☁️🌥️☁️ Today Tropicana needs a rest. She just want to sit and do nothing except waiting for sunshine warming her heart. In the evening she asked for water, potting soil lost enough weight. 600ml with 60ml light fermented flower and herb tee. ~100 ml drainage with PH 6,2. In the main flower it was possible to find a small amount of amber trichomes. Day 66 🌤️⛅️🌤️🌤️ 10-21 degrees, humidity 45-65%. This morning I understood, that Tropicana was not thirsty yesterday, she need to breath oxygen with her roots to feel happy. The beautiful smell is way not so intense since last night. I missed the strong smell when I opened the door to our balcony in the early morning. So no watering yesterday would be better. And my banana peel tee is not free of nitrogen, same with the herb and flower tee. Less is more will be written in my diary in the next days (weeks). Watching Trichome TV: I see more amber and I see that she needs more time after all this stress which I made for her. She told me that she is not only sick of water, she told me, that she hate to be moved all the time, too. Every move from A to B she would loose tiny roots and this would stress her a lot. When I checked the moisture I spotted too many of this root fly castings. Their mamas and papas had their orgie about a week ago and now they are eating the mulch layer roots as if there will be no morning. This is not Tropicanas day. But the sun is shining and tomorrow will be another day. Hopefully with a nose full of this tasty fruity and woody citrus smell. Day 67 🌧️☁️☁️☁️ 13-19 degrees, humidity 42-80%. This morning the smell was more intensive like yesterday but still not like before. The leafs show the first signs of fading and I‘m very nervous. This night will fall a lot of rain for several hours. But a part of our balcony is canopied, so Tropicana will be a little bit protected by me this night. I don‘t want to make another mistake, so I use this possibility. Anyway the plants are always wet after a strong rain, it‘s just a little canopy, but not soaked with water. Day 68 🌧️☁️⛅️🌤️ 15-21 degrees and the humidity is 74-85%. Tropicana feels better. The smell this morning was much more intensive then the days before. Day 69 ⛅️🌤️🌥️☁️ 15-22 degrees, humidity 46-89%. Tropicanas flowers are swelling and while she is maturing her smell is getting more intense and complex. Right now mandarin and an earthy woody smell, sometimes even a bit sour like a mixture of pineapple and lime juice. It‘s possible to find new colors in the flowers. There’s purple and pink, orange and ocher brown appeared. Tropicanas main flower looks like the harvest time is near, but the trichomes are still clear and just started to get milky. Anyway she is incredible fast, especially if to remember the extrem conditions with minimal temperature around ten degrees in the early mornings. Day 70 🌧️☁️☁️🌧️ 17-23 degrees, humidity 63-94%. In the next days we will have humid thunderstorm weather. There is even a warning for huge hailstones for tomorrow. So there is a risk of damage and mold because of high humidity. I will have an eye on this. Tropicana looks healthy, so I‘m not worrying too much anymore.

12/25 Merry Xmas. The ladies got a priming light feed this morning to get ready to clone in 2 days. Watered on 3 gallons plain water and 3 gallons of the mix the bed was thirsty

I can’t believe how big this plant is!! She is really bursting into flowering. There are already trichomes showing at the little bud sites which is incredible. Sweet seeds genetics always seem to bring the frost!! I can’t recommend these genetics enough! She’s the biggest Fast Photoperiod I’ve ever grown!! I bet she will push over the 1lb mark! She’s super resistant to mould/mildew and bugs. She can take the heat like a champ and down pours don’t affect her at all!! I have been spraying her with OMRI fungicide which I’m sure has helped. Like I always say, a little prevention goes a long way! Although I also believe strong stable genetics help!! I can’t wait to see what another week brings!! New week. Started feeding 2days ago. 2part instead of 3. Managing till i get the last part in. Roughly 2weeks. Currently using. micro and bloom from advanced nutrients. Currently waiting for roots to show under the rockwool then i can move it into the 5gallon bucket.

End of week 5 for Orange Sherbet FF. This week was better than the last week. She Starting to bounce back from her issues she is taking her time in developing and stretching slowly. No signs of pre-bloom yet. I just fed her Goldleaf feterlizer and did some defoliation to the bad leaves. Hopefully week 6 is better.

This week saw an influx of flower sites all over the plant, cannot believe how many flower sites this girl started yielding! Did some HST previous week and had wrangled the stems to create knuckles by breaking cell walls and forcing them to become thicker. Pics of recovery and knuckle forming.

Missed 7th week. She looks very well, big and strong, in the process of creating big buds, lots of hope for this one.

3/28/2023 - Day 30 Flower: moving into mid flower and all the plants look good. Starting to put on some weight and stack up. Tricomes are really starting to develop and they are starting to smell. Switching to 11 hours on and 13 hours off today, but have the lights cranked up 100%. Not seeing any signs of deficiencies, so hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here. 3/30/2023 - Day 32 Flower: watered again today with 4 gallons. Added another sprouted seed tea, with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Rootwise Bio-Phos and Bio-Catalyst, BuildASoil Big 6 and BuildABloom, Fermented Peach Extract, and coconut powder. Everything else is looking great. Flowers are stacking and adding more frost every day. Not too much of a smell yet, but the Grand Prix 2 is starting to smell like something special. Still too early to say exactly, but I'm excited to see how she develops. 4/1/2023 - Day 34 Flower: not much to report today. The plants look great. The only thing I noticed is it looks like the Grand Prix 3 is showing signs of some purple in some of the leaves. The stem still looks green, so I don't think this is related to any kind of deficiency. I think it's just some color starting to come through in mid flower. I'll try to add a picture above. 4/2/2023 - Day 35 Flower: watered 4 gallons of water, mixed with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Coconut Powder, and Yah-Whey Thrive.
