Its not so bad

135 days 3 part harvest 1st was wk 16 430 wet= 97 dry: flowering 60+ days. 2nd part 105 wet= 20g Dry 3rd part well, I got a weight after 5 days of drying. It turned all the white hairs all amber and it actually finished off perfectly. The wet weight was a lot more than I was guessing. I got nearly 55g dry + 3 grams I've been picking up the last 2 days on bits that dried earlier as I hung it in my grow room. RH was 60% temp 21c. Had to remove nodes on the outside to allow the inner buds to dry. 40% was dry on day 3.5 rest took another 1.5 days to dry. This time I didn't over dry it. Still a nice bit of mostiure in it. I'd say the weight wait on this one was 200+ gave back 58Dry.. Was a task doing a 3 part harvest between partly flushing, restarting and then flushing and restarting and then finally I gave her a 10 day flush on flawless finish. She was dying off, showing she was coming to end of life. Really happy with the results of her, nice to get a decent amount of bud from the jars. Buds are starting to thicken. I was hoping for a purple phenotype but I didn’t get lucky. SMELL IS AMAZING. Huge plant

She has reached above the light (light is 72” above her nutrient tank) I supercropped a few of the tallest branches but she’s still in the light. She is developing flowers very well and she has nice tight internodal distances. I suspect she will fill in most of the runs in her tops.

Through the week I repotted the Super skunk feminised due to her roots protruding through the bottom of the pot. I repotted her for the aid of the roots. The lady has continued to show signs of recovery with the leaves smoothing out further more from rough. The leaves are returning back to it’s healthy emerald green colour plus she is picking up her growth pace growing 5cm this week her stem is stalk like and she stands at 47cm tall. She is almost ready for bloom.

D54 (14/01/2021): First day for week 4 of bloom. I gave them tap water cause last time the PPM run off was a bit high. The PPM run off for Banana Kush today was higher then the run off for Glue Gelato. It's not the first time I see that so I think I can say that Glue Gelato uptake more nutrients compared to Banana Kush. If it become a problem I might consider doing two separate nutrients mix. - temp: 24-27C light ON ; 21-23C light OFF - water: PH6.7, 128 PPM approx. 4L per plant - run off: PH7 and 830PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH6.9 and 1220 PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 55% for light ON and OFF D55 (15/01/2021): I saw some brownish spots on small leaves for Glue Gelato. Last feed, Glue Gelato was the one with the lower PPM run off. I think the brown spots are due to calcium deficiency. Glue Gelato is an heavy feeder, I might give a good dose of nutrients next feed. Glue Gelato PH of the run off was on the high acceptable range. So it might also be a nutrient lock due to inappropriate soil PH. I need to check that closely... - temp: 24-27 C light ON ; 21-23C light OFF - no water - RH: 54% light ON ; 50-52% light OFF D56 (16/01/2021): I fed with 3/4 of the recommended dose for mid late flower. Run off for Banana Kush is still high. I will see how she react but so far she's the one who look the healthier! Maybe she doesn't mind having a ''hot'' soil. It's been 3-4 weeks since I did check the accuracy of my PH meter. I checked yesterday and I was off of PH0.4 (reading higher that it was suppose to be). I have a cheap PH pen so I need to check that often. Maybe the little brownish spot on Glue Gelato is due to incorrect PH in water or soil over the last week. - temp: 24-27C light ON ; 21-22C light OFF - water: PH6.2, 913 PPM less then a gallon per plant - run off: PH6.7 and 1200PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH6.8 and 1700 PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 53% light ON ; 51-52% light OFF D57 (17/01/2021): There's sing of nutrient burn on Banana Kush. It was expected. I consider doing a flush for this gal. - temp: 24-26C light ON ; 21-23C light OFF - no water - RH: 54% light ON ; 57% light OFF D58 (18/01/2021): I mixed 1/2 of the recommended dose of Max Minerals. I flushed the Banana Kush until the run off passed below 1000 PPM. I did not flush the Glue Gelato since there is no sing of nutrient burn. They don't smell that much. When I open the tent, there is a weak smell but when I play with the leaves or shake the stems now I can smell them properly. Glue Gelato have a strong pine-citrus-fruity pungent smell and Banana Kush have a smooth tropical-fruity-candy smell. Both smell soooo good and the buds are starting to look really appealing 😍😋 - temp: 24-26C light ON ; 21-22C light OFF - water: PH6.3, 325 PPM - run off: PH6.9 and 1010PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH6.9 and 920 PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 55% light ON ; 51-52% light OFF D59 (19/01/2021): After 12 days of not removing any leaves today I did removed approx. 20 leaves on each plant. From now on I will continue to remove the leaves that are blocking bud site from having enough light. - temp: 23-25C light ON ; 20-21 light OFF - no water - RH: 53-54% light ON ; 54-55% light OFF D60 (20/01/2021): I gave full recommended dose of Max Minerals, half of the recommended dose of Max Grow and 3/4 of the recommended dose of Max Bud. All base on the recommended dose of nutrients for mid late flower. I was aiming for a lower PPM level then last Banana Kush run off. I dropped de lamp of 1 inch height to be around 13-14 inches from canopy. - temp: 23-25C light ON ; 21-22C light OFF - water: PH6.0 , 775 PPM - run off: PH6.7 and 1200PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH6.6 and 1060 PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 51-52% light ON ; 45-49% light OFF

And then there are plants like Passion Fruitz... Plants that politely ignore our expectations and decide to follow their own calendar. Week after week she continues growing, building, and strengthening herself, while many of the other ladies around her have already begun flowering. At first glance someone might think something is wrong. But that's exactly why this project exists. Sometimes the greatest lessons come from the plants that refuse to do what we expect. 🌱 Why This Project Exists One of the goals of this entire 8×8 Adventure has never been simply to grow beautiful plants. The real objective is education. Every plant in this room receives exactly the same opportunity. The same room. The same light schedule. The same nutrients. The same temperatures. The same humidity. The same CO₂. The same care. The only thing that's different... ...is the genetics. By documenting every phenotype individually, we can see something many growers never have the chance to observe. Plants are individuals. Even sisters from the same seed pack don't always make the same decisions. And Passion Fruitz is giving us the perfect example. 🌿 Still Growing... And That's Perfectly Fine While many of her neighbours have already started producing flowers, Passion Fruitz remains comfortably in vegetative growth. No pistils. No stretch into bloom. No rush whatsoever. Instead, she's investing every bit of energy into building herself. Her canopy has become noticeably fuller. Her branching is becoming stronger. The stems continue thickening, and every new node adds to an increasingly compact and healthy structure. She isn't falling behind. She's simply following her own biological timetable. 🌎 Genetics Always Have the Final Say One of the biggest myths surrounding the 12/12 From Seed method is that plants immediately begin flowering simply because the lights are set to 12 hours. This project has shown the opposite. The light schedule tells the plant the season. The genetics decide when she's mature enough to respond. Whether it's a photoperiod plant... An autoflower... Or completely different phenotypes from the very same variety... Every plant reaches that moment in its own time. Passion Fruitz has become the living proof of that. She's reminding us that growing isn't about forcing nature. It's about learning to observe it. 🍃 A Compact Beauty Although she's still one of the smallest ladies in the room, she might also be one of the healthiest. Her foliage is deep green and full of life. The internodal spacing remains incredibly tight. Every growing tip looks vigorous, with fresh new growth appearing almost daily. This week required almost no intervention. A little gentle leaf tucking here and there was enough to improve light penetration while allowing her natural structure to continue developing uninterrupted. Sometimes doing less is exactly what the plant needs. 💧 Letting Her Write Her Own Story Her feeding program remains focused on healthy vegetative development, providing everything she needs while avoiding the temptation to push her faster than she's ready to go. There's no special treatment. No attempt to force flowering. No drastic adjustments. Just consistency. One of the biggest lessons growing has taught me over the years is that patience often produces the best results. Every plant deserves the opportunity to grow at her own pace. 🌡️ The Environment Remains Stable As with every plant in this project, Passion Fruitz continues enjoying stable environmental conditions that allow her genetics to express themselves naturally. Starting to see fatter buds, brown hairs, and lots of trichomes. When looking through the jewelers loop they are all still clear. Not long now for the Wedding Cheesecake. She is in the middle. This will be her last feeding. Then I will start flushing next two weeks until she is ready to harvest.

🌿 Amnesia Skunk Auto — Week 9 From Seed (Week 5 Flower) We’re back with the Amnesia Skunk auto, and before we dive into this week, let’s take a second to understand how we got here. This run has been a bit different from the traditional approach. Even though we’re working with autoflowers, the environment has been set under a 12/12 light cycle from seed — what we’ve been calling a “no veg” approach. Now, to clarify — it’s not that the plant doesn’t vegetate. It does. But it does so on its own internal clock, not because we extended light hours to push vegetative growth. So what happens? The plant never gets the signal to fully stretch and build structure like in a classic veg phase, which results in: • more compact plants • tighter node spacing • earlier transition into flower • and a much faster lifecycle overall And that’s exactly what we’re seeing here. ⸻ 🌱 This Week — The Story of the White Hairs (Pistils) This week, the stars of the show are the white hairs — the pistils. Those fine white strands you’re seeing shooting out of the buds are the female reproductive organs of the plant. Their role is simple, but powerful: They are designed to catch pollen. Each pistil is connected to an ovule inside the calyx. If pollinated, that’s where seeds would form. But in our case — no pollen, no seeds — so the plant continues to push energy into: 👉 resin production 👉 bud swelling 👉 terpene expression That’s why you’ll notice: • fresh, bright white pistils = active growth phase • constant new pistil production = plant still building mass And right now? She’s in full production mode. ⸻ 🌿 Structure & Development What’s really interesting here is the morphology. These are currently the most compact plants in the room, sitting around ~90 cm, but: • dense structure • tight internodes • bud sites stacked closely The buds themselves are already: • forming tight • showing early frost • pushing aroma earlier than expected For a plant that never had a traditional veg window, this is honestly impressive. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding We’ve kept things stable and consistent: • Temperature: ~28°C • Humidity: ~65% RH • pH: ~6.5 • EC: ~2.0 Water intake is sitting at around 1.5L per plant per day, which tells us: 👉 metabolism is active 👉 root zone is functioning well 👉 demand is increasing as flowers build ⸻ ⚡ On the “No Veg” Approach This run continues to reinforce something interesting: You don’t always need a long veg phase to get quality results. This lady is certainly a a dark horse, the smell is amazing.. an old school smell that reminds me of my times in Amsterdam many years back. She is showing no signs of nutrition issues, and the buds are swelling at rapid rate. They are dense and pungent with a fruity hint.

My first ever harvest went great! I trimmed 3 different ways as well as flushed for different amounts of time. 24hr flush and wet trim with bowl trimmer, dried on dry rack. Aprox 4 ounces as i was smoking it soon as it dried, small buds first. 🤷‍♂️🏻 3 day flush. Wet trimmed by hand. Hung to dry. 119 grams Last two ladies were the bushy ones. I let them flush for a full week and then hung to dry. We hand trimmed them both(not as close of trim) to make edibles and oils with. 412 grams! I think I did pretty well on my harvest. I have over a pound of bud! I’m all smiles!

Yay! Finally they get space in the bigger grow room, been waiting for weeks. The few mother's that were still flowering were able to fit into the tent. Many of the seedlings were ready for transplant so I made room for them in the clone closet as well.

4/20: I have 3 good clones of the shortie growing, and another FFT6 seedling. 5/1: The seedling is now in a 5 gallon pot outdoors, and 2 of the clones are in my closet getting ready to be transplanted into 5 gallon pots and moved outdoors. One of the FFT6 clones will be grown in my tiny tent. 5/6: I took the last two clones outdoors and fed them really well. I also did some training on the seedling and the clone in my tiny tent. 5/7: I did a foliar application of Axiom Harpin proteins today. 5/9-5/11: Did foliar feeding and lots of training every day. 5/12 - 5/17: Fed the outdoor girls on the 13th, then we had lots of rain all week. The seedling is a beast. Installed a new 200w 3000k waterproof LED over the outdoor plants. The indoor clone looks great. I gave her some water on the 16th. 5/18 - 5/19: The seedling and two clones outdoors are all flowering?!?! I suppose it's because I germ'd and vegged them for a month under 24/0 before taking them outdoors under 14/10 of daylight... I'm really hoping she sees the days getting longer and goes back to vegging. I need time to bush her up really well! I ordered another 200w 3000k waterproof LED to replace the two cool white 60w LED's, so that will be 550w total watts of lighting outdoors in addition to the 5'ish hours of direct sunlight they get at mid-day, and the tree-diffused sunlight they get for the rest of the day. Thinking about trying a product called Bud Bomb...has lots of hormones, cytokinins, and auxins that when applied at the beginning of flowering supposedly causes more lateral branching and less vertical stretch. As it is, I'm spending too much time training her and the other outdoor plants to stay below the eyeline of nosy neighbors, so I'm really considering giving it a shot... 5/20: I went for it and sprayed them with Bud Bomb this morning...hope it works like they claim.. 5/21 - 7/4: The clone i grew in the tiny tent got to move in under the quantum boards for her last 2 weeks and fattened up nicely. I harvested her on 6/28 and washed her buds, then jarred and weighed her on 7/3. She produced 110g of cola and 51g of lower bud...very little of it was larfy.👍 After a few great weeks flowering outdoors, i was invaded by spider mites and grasshoppers. The #6 seed-grown plant didn't make it, but i brought the #6 clone indoors and treated her for spider mites a few times, along with the 2 x #1 clones and the #7 plant. That outdoor clone now in my closet is still flowering as of 7/4, but had her last dose of nutes on 7/3. Flushing in a few days.

Pretty quiet week. Seeing some yellowing leaves which is a big indicator of a nitrogen issue but I’m hoping that it’s just because I’m in mid flower and not a bigger problem. Mantis Nutrients walked me through my issues and I have flushed the plant. Will now start giving lower doses of nutrients and will slowly increase the amount. The buds themselves are getting really sticky and stinky. Love watching them grow!
