Good day to all my friends and visitors here on GD. Decided to finally finish this diary so that on New Year eve I'm not opening the year with unfinished business. Now we cut the second Tropicanna XL auto plant, the first cut you can find in week 17. The plant from week 17 weighted 2.6 kilo wet, this one finished at 2.1kg. wet. The girls where autoflower but thanks to me starting this grow in cold day temps (14 degree Celsius) the started flower really late and grew and grew :) I enjoyed growing this strain immensely, smells so sweet and fruity, she has the most intense and most delicious aroma ever She brunches off like crazy, gave me a ton of big and dense bud. They were the biggest plants I have ever grown and to top that this cultivar rewarded me with one of the most tasteful buds, fit even for a picky connesour. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SE7000 done it's magic with this grow as with all my other grow ops. The plant is developing extremely well, was not impressed by the topping and is pushing well! It was topped after the 4th node and should fit so well in the tent.

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Didn't have someone to come water the plants. 5 days away. Plants dried right out. Defoliated both and fed and watered. We will see what happens. Plant one has mostly orange hairs. Plant two is on the whiter side. Buds are still filling in. I have definitely learned that I need to move on to a more automated system for my lifestyle. Gonna try to make the best of the next few weeks and watch the trichomes turn. Day 66-67 flushed soil with pH water

🌱 Skywalker OG — Week 5 From Seed (12/12 Run) Hello everyone, welcome to another update, and a big thank you to everyone following along, newcomers, longtime readers, sponsors, platform, and of course the breeders and creators behind these genetics. It truly means a lot to share this journey together. For those just joining: this is a 12/12 from seed run, approached gently and observationally. No rush, no aggression, just letting the plants express themselves while we listen closely. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Room Conditions • Temperature: 21°C • Relative Humidity: ~58% • Outside conditions: 4–5°C with 90–98% RH Given what’s happening outside, I’m actually very happy with how stable the room is staying. The plants seem to agree, posture, color, and overall vigor are excellent. • CO₂: ~666 ppm For now, this is perfectly fine. No need to push or supplement — steady and natural. ⸻ 💡 Lighting Strategy (Top + Under Canopy) At the start of the week: • Only top lights are running • Power: 100% • PPFD: ~700–850 (depending on plant size) As the plants stretch and rise above the under-canopy fixtures, we’re now introducing under-canopy lighting: • Lumiflora under-canopy lights • Starting at 30% power This is very intentional. The goal isn’t to blast the plants, but to teach them that light and photons will be arriving from more than one direction. We want a gentle adaptation — letting the plant reorganize how it uses light rather than forcing it. Power will be increased later, but right now it’s all about adjustment, not intensity. ⸻ 🌿 Training Approach (or lack of it) Because this is a 12/12 from seed run, we are being extremely conservative. • No topping • No hard training • No defoliation The only work being done: • Leaf tucking • Gentle leaf bending And the response has been incredible. These girls are reacting with: • Tight internodes • Bushy structure • Calm, confident growth Sometimes, truly, less touch = better performance. ⸻ 🌱 The Triple-Branching Lady (Main Focus of the Week) This week’s highlight is one very special plant showing clear triple branching. At each node, instead of the usual two shoots, she’s producing three distinct branches, stacking from the bottom all the way up. The structure almost looks like she’s tucking herself naturally, creating a dense but elegant framework. This is not something we forced. It’s purely genetic expression meeting the right conditions. She looks happy. She looks calm. And she looks like she’s planning something special. We’ll be doing a dedicated report on her by the end of the week, because this kind of morphology deserves proper documentation. ⸻ 💧 Watering & Nutrition Strategy Water Source We’re using a mix of: • Rainwater • Dehumidifier-collected water This water is extremely soft, so this week we introduced something new: ➕ CalMag Pro Not because the plants were asking — but thinking ahead. Before adding nutrition, we want a proper mineral foundation. This helps stabilize uptake and prevents issues before they even show up. Aside from that: • No changes to the main recipe • Everything remains steady and predictable ⸻

LOOKS GOOD. GROWING STEAD. ONE OF THE BEANS SPROUTED 1 WEEK BEHIND. REMAINING 4 SIMILAR SIZES. NO MUTATED OR SHRIVELED FAN LEAVES. SINCE OUTDOORS. IM NOT GONNA TRAIN TOO MUCH THIS TIME. SINCE THE SUN WILL HIT IT FROM ALL DIRECTIONS. LET'S KEEP HANDS OFF AND SEE HOW IT GROWS.

She goes fast and good yield, mine was a bit bushy but still the buds underneath were still hard

1 gallon, of the above listed nutrients, every 3 days, for the past 2 weeks! I've been selectively de-leafing every about 5-7 days.. I haven't needed to remove much at all, to maintain good light coverage to bud-sites!

Week 5 and it's all good. Day #32 Watered with just 0,5 ml/l of Fish Mix. I used it to spray on the leaves too. One of the 5 clones died because one night I removed the cap: just don't, is way too early. These days are rainy so drying time is slow. I'm going to switch to Bio Grow and setting 12/12 light schedule in the next 5 days. Day #34 Not deep watering yet, just sprayed leaves with Fish Mix then both mothers with a sip of leftover solution for each. The clones that I took just as a try seems to be healty. I don't know what to do with them :) Day #35 Watering deep with pasta water with BioGrow in. Defoliated a bit. Day #36 I see some slight curling and yellow tip on a mother plant so next round I'll water with just a bit of magnesium.

Hey everyone, Weekly update. So far everything has been going great. Just been giving her distilled water and nothing else so far. Going to give some micro nutrients soon. Warmer weather is coming for the next few weeks so hoping for some nice growth. Take care

EM#1: I can hardly believe that she weighed less than WW#1..she towered over her and her buds were as big..just not as dense I guess. Her main cola was a little over a foot and weighed 110g wet. I guess she just had a higher leaf-to-calyx ratio and leaves weigh a lot less... She was a desirable EM pheno..dense, stocky, sturdy branches, very resinous...just a little too leafy. Her total dry weight was 77g. Update 9/2: 11 days of curing and it's starting to really wreak when I open the jar. Very pungent..hints of ammonia in the jar and has that sweet skunky smell when incinerated. I set fire to it today and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It's got that same earthy taste I remember from when it was first dry, but with "herbal" tones on the aftertaste. The buzz is a really intense head high for about 5 minutes, then levels out to a good body stone. I like it. A lot. EM#4: My tablet died and I was unable to get any photos of her being harvested. Her big bent main cola weighed 115g wet and was about a foot long if you straightened it out.. All the extra branching caused by the failed FIM and super-cropping really paid off. This plant smells AWESOME...very exotic/spicy. Smells great, tastes great, excellent buzz... she was just too tall and lanky and a pain to deal with.. Her total dry weight was 101g. Update: 8/28 - I'm determined not to smoke any more of her until next week and she's better cured....well...maybe just a little....no, not until next week...well, maybe tomorrow... Update 9/2: I smoked some more today and wasn't as thrilled with it as the first time..maybe because I had just smoked some EM#1 ;-) EM#2: She is dead and drying! Her main cola was a bit shorter than EM#1's, 11 inches, but was fatter and weighed 121g, wet. One of her other colas weighed 100g. She's very similar to EM#1 (kinda leafy), so I expect her to really lose a lot of water weight. I'm guessing she'll weigh around 85g dry...time will tell. Update 9/4: Total dry weight: 91g It's only been curing for 2 days, but had to sample it. Bam! This plant was my favorite tasting EM of the crop thus far. Same great taste as EM#4, but even more pungent. I smoked about 6 quick bong rips and got a nice uplifting head buzz for an hour that leveled off to a good mellow body buzz for another hour or so. EM#3: update 9/2: She might actually finish in about 10 days or so. Plenty of time to hit her again with cha ching, terpinator, and bud candy... update 9/10: HARVESTED! This plant took more than 4 man-hours to manicure and took three 18" drying baskets. So many buds. I will be amazed if she comes in any less than 150g of dried bud which would be amazing, but considering her space requirements and duration of bloom, probably not worth it...smell, taste, and effect could still sway my opinion.. update 9/14: Total dry weight: 224g!!! (Half-pounder!) 74g of that was lower-grade bud which I'll use to make confections and e-liquid. Took a couple bong rips..she got me stoned, but she needs to cure. Still a little green-tasting.
