Another busy week with the vege. I gave it microbes, a HID lamp at 400 watts, sprayed for bugs and also covered the media with plastic wrap to get rid of 3 or 4 gnarts and of course a had another flood with the GoGro water system and I took one plant out of the garden because she is frozen in time. I still don't know why. The trellis is doing good. Lots of work.

10/11 111 days old, 42 days since flip and any time now. She is wrapping things up quick. She gets cold at night. The pictures do this plant no justice. She is not green, she is purple. 70s during the day and 60s at night really brings the color out. This strain is supposed to finish in 54 to 60 days. She will not make it to 50 before finishing. Really she looks done now. She was grown in living soil. I added more worm castings, myco and zolmite. That was it for her entire veg stage. She was a beautiful dark green and not one sign of deficiency. All I did was add water. For the flower stage I added more castings and Gaia Green power bloom. Then when she started flowering I added the Fox Farm bloom nuits. Probably didn’t need the Fox Farm but I had it so I used it. She has been on straight water for the past week. I added defoliation even though it’s not really defoliating. The leaves are drying up. I’m pulling them off to let the light go deeper. The Soil Makers, Colchester CT is where I got the living soil from. 10/13 she is almost ready. Watered her last night. Waiting to see is she is still drinking. 10/14 chopped her down, Timber. Did my first trim, took a couple of hours. That was taking my time. She was not that hard to trim. Between being lollipoped and this strain is not very leafy. Trimming was very easy. I chopped her at the bottom after trimming and hung the whole plant. Since it’s the whole plant I didn’t bother getting the wet weight. The whole plant is very heavy, over 5 pounds. Wet doesn’t tell me much so why bother. Going by looks I should net about a pound, give or take. Now I’m going to try and give her a slow dry and cure. Also can’t say harvested until i am able to get some weight.

I preferred to remove my net this week, to more easily access my plants and water them. I hope the branches will hold I cut a lot of leaf this week. I hear different opinions that say it's beneficial others not... At least it will have the advantage of lowering the humidity. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Water: tap water at 300 PPM, I add 0.7G of Hybrid powder and 0.3g of booster PK+ per liter to reach 950PPM and I adjust the PH to 5.8. Hoping by the end of this week to see a decent bit of vegative growth. I also had a boost in growth after sprouting but has slowed down decently. Plants leaves started drooping down and one edge of leaf turned a lighter green, leaves also look wrinkled, but don’t feel dry. I was advised it was nothing to be concerned of but I want other opinions. Also started a little LST today 2/15/24

Working towards germinating 4 autos. Hopefully all seeds will successfully take. Seeds will soak for a day or so and then into directly amended soil in fabric pots.

La purple haze était vraiment plaisante à cultiver. Une des deux a eu un problème dès le début de croissance, et malgré tout, j'ai réussi à l'envoyer en floraison. Cela montre bien que les variétés de zamnesia sont très bien pour les débutants, elles sont très résistantes. La haze était de taille moyenne. Une odeur très épicée et terreuse, un vrai plaisir au nez. On voit bien que c'est une sativa, elle provoque de grosses crises de fou rire, la première fois que j'ai tiré dessus j'ai tiré trois taf et j'ai rigolé pendant 30 minutes, complètement incroyable. Très cérébrale, pleins d'idées qui nous passent par la tête, elle rend très énergique et n'a pas d'effet de détente sur le corps. Ne pas fumer en soirée avant d'aller dormir, plutôt en après-midi, j'ai beaucoup de mal à dormir si je l'utilise en début de soirée. Attention tout de même, elle provoque pas mal de parano je trouve, typique d'une sativa. En tout cas excellente variété pour aller marcher et profiter d'une belle après-midi. J'ai optenu 45g et 30g en sachant que j'ai eu pas mal de problèmes.

Semana del 19 al 25 de abril La semana pasada aplicamos el insecticida Tec Fort y fenomenal, no vimos ningún otro insecto, ni daños en las hojas. Por prevención hoy, 19 de abril, lo volvimos a aplicar (1ml por litro de agua). Voy a parar con la poda y en una o dos semanas volveré a podar las hojas bajo la malla o aquellas muy grandes que hacen sombra a los cogollos. Tampoco quiero estresar tanto la planta. Creo que las plantas van bastante bien y que he mejorado desde la primera vez. Soy muy nueva en esto, pero creo que voy bien. Dentro de unas semanas comenzaré a usar el microscopio para ver que tal van. Espero obtener cogollos gordos😍 de momento huele muy afrutada.

Quickly doing the weeks I missed the buds have rapidly increased in size and are starting to really smell and stink the place out starting to see a few Amber hairs and hopefully can chop them in a couple more weeks

Week 7 and the flower get color

This jack orange is such a beautiful plant for real, the flowers are going to be absolutely awesome, she's producing some trichomes so far just like the rest of the plants on day 23 of flower and the smell is citric but veeery sweet, I'm very excited about this one, this is my first time working with her, hope to taste amazing tasty flowrs. Started to dial down the nutrients, can already see a slight colour change in the leaves as they start to turn autumn colours with the reduced nitrogen Did a flush/refresh of the roots using florakleen 0.5ml/Litre and left it in the reservoir for 2 days before dumping and adding fresh nutrients. The roots look bright white afterwards where they were nutrient stained a reddish brown before. I swapped the side light from the left side to the right side to promote some more bud development on that side lower down Happy with how the plants are looking but I had hoped that the buds would be a little fatter by this stage. Clear winner so far is the bruce banner which has by far the biggest and most dense buds, then the gorilla glue next, then the blue dream although her buds are tall and skinny, then the gsc comes next with the critical last, most of the buds on the critical are still very small (it's the shortest plant and furthest away from the light)
