After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Same height, same 5l/day, slowly swelling up those buds! Not sure but I think we are running into a bleaching issue again ("sugar leaves are oh so sweet!" issue, remember my first grow?). Well, I guess she may be a bit sensitive to strong lights - I have increased distance to my lamps and dimmed them to 75%, means she get 180W and not 240W actually. Defoliation goes still very easy - removing couple of fan leaves every second day, no other trainings at all. I had also removed some of very low and small side-side brunches - testers on the way :) She started to smell stronger in the tent - super tasty!

10/8 - going along steady. I'll take few more glam shots later. 2 MONTHS. It may not look like much but I'm proud of these 3. This is probably the healthiest tent I've had since I started growing inside. I just want them to fill out the net a little better before I flip. 10/10 - trellis training is underway. Between topping and this, I should have a nice, full canopy this time around. I've estimated about 72 squares in my net yet only about 35 or so colas forming. Wondering if I should really I push this one or quit while I'm ahead. One thing is for certain, Moby dick is responding much faster to being topped than GZ. Every stem of Moby I've topped has grown lower shoots aggressively and quickly. Gz has been far slower to respond. Noted. Can't wait to see these things bud. But patience is a virtue here. If the veg stage is any indicator, the buds going to be phenomenal.

I love Sweet Seeds for the incredible variety of possibilities it offers and F1 or FVs that are, I am practically a sort of autoflowering that you have to send in bloom with the classic passage 18> 12 typical of photoperiodes. What purpose does it serve? Be the lovers of the topping have already understood me, the autoflowering are difficult to work as well as almost all flourish too early for this technique. Send in bloom whenever you want to make topping and have a very fast bloom of 6 weeks. In fact she's the only fast and it's much later than anything so much that I started the booster. Feeding >>> Plagron Alga Bloom 4ml / lt + Green sensation 1 ml / lt

Day 6 - Invested into a TDS Tester. Watering is at 10ppm as I filter it from the tap we are at 120ppm. No other updates. Day 5 - lollipoping and defoliation done, readjusted tie downs and watered. Looking good a starting to develop the trichomes now. Day 4 - left alone Day 3 - watered the ladies top down. Day 2 - left the plants alone Day 1 - no real updates just a watering and that's it. Letting it go for 2 days with no disturbance and seeing what happens. The end of week 6 left us in a pretty good situation headed into week 7.

She put on so much weight this week I flushed her and now feed with ripen untill next week Mid week 11: still cloudy trichomes Maybe i let her go a few more days after the ripen scedule

So I'm on holiday at the mo. My friend is house sitting (plant sitting) and has sent me a few photos to keep me happy. Not the best quality as over exposed, so I'll upload some better ones when I'm home on Sunday. Worth noting that the light yellowing of the leaves is a result of the over exposure and not a dying plant lol. Looks like good progress. No close ups to see if it's flowering unfortunately, but it's definitely still growing in stature. A follower noticed some leaves clawing at the top of the plant, but it hasn't got any worse in the last week and I haven't actually given it any additional nutes, so fingers crossed I don't have nitrogen toxicity. Gave some Biosyss last week, hoping that it has provided an optimum environment I didn't use LST and wondering whether that's going to mean a lesser yield. Update: asked a question and found that not too late to LST so going to start that Monday when back from hols. Updated with better pictures 👌🏻 Any thoughts? I'm back from holiday tomorrow and planning on starting a feeding schedule of biogrow, bio bloom and topmax to maximise yield 👌🏻 10/10/21 - Back from holidays and have uploaded new pictures. Lots of pistels appearing now suggesting it is going into flowering. I have decided to go ahead and LST despite the stress it might cause. I figured with it being a hardy strain that it may tolerate it, and the benefits (if it works) would make it worth the risk. 11/10/21 - Plants have coped really well with the nutrients. Checked pH today and sitting at around 6 which is ideal. Humidity fluctuates a little. Between 45% and 65%. If keeps going high then I'll put a dehumidifier in. Buds starting to form/flower now. Exciting times

All is going ok and growing fast. Was underfeeding a bit and was a bit close to the lights and giving a bit of light stress and turning leaves pale green near the top half of the plants. We're beyond excited to try out this new MarsHydro LED for our latest grow, the SP-3000 is INCREDIBLY bright!! ..I have never seen a light more appropriate for a 4x2 tent in my life, we (happily) replaced 3 "600 watt" blurple LEDs with this single rig ( something we've wanted for a very long time). There should be no issue achieving perfect coverage, corner to corner with this light. Its been years since we've flowered under LED ( and never one of this quality), we're a little bias towards HID/CMH, especially my hubby but I think this might just be the LED that changes our mind! We'll be growing Gelat OG Auto by Seedsman (we've heard amazing things) for our first grow under the SP-3000, all plants in 5gl fabric pots, Promix-B (25% perlite) on a 20/4hr cycle. We're starting with 4 plants but if they become unmanageable, we'll move one or 2 of the plants to another tent. We use a glass of water and a paper towel as our germination method. We soak seeds roughly 24hrs and then in a wet paper towel for another 12-24hrs, we average roughly a 90% success rate doing it this way... October 9, 2021: Everything is moving right along. Flowering in full effect! Still showing signs of overwatering, but getting better. I haven't watered them at all this week. They are almost dried out enough to start watering again. I'm learning these 'self watering' pots I purchased basically suck and should be treated the same as any other 3 gallon pot. Lesson learned. I still like the concept of Sub Irrigation Planter (SIP) pots. I'll be building some SIP pots of my own with 5 gallon buckets in the future. Blackberry is 14" tall and has nice purple colors coming in. I did some additional defoliation on her this week and really like the way she is looking now (minus the overwatering) Critical+ is 22" tall and has good bud development. Her leaves are more yellowed, but that hasn't seemed to affect her bud development. I'm guessing we have 4-5 weeks to go until harvest time. I have planted 4 new photo period seeds (new journal up - check it out). I'll be flipping this tent to 12-12 as soon as these two girls have harvested. Until next week... Happy Growing!!! ✊
