Nebenprojekt Erster Balkon Grow 2x Gorilla Auto von 420Fastbuds 2x 12l Stofftopf mit mineralischer Floragard Erde. Unser Balkon ist leider nur ein suboptimaler Standort für den Cannabisanbau. Es gibt kaum direktes Sonnenlicht. Trotzdem ist es der Einzige Ort wo ich mit Sonnenlicht Arbeiten kann. Dementsprechend gering waren meine Erwartungen. Es musste Katzensicher werden, daher das Mini-Gewächshaus (60x40x160cm) Ich habe eine Art Abluft Installiert. Um zumnindest die Luft zirkulieren lassen zu können. Hitze Stau gab es trotzdem. Bis zu 42° waren keine Seltenheit. Zusätzlich lag mein Fokus eher auf den Indoor Anbau. Deswegen wollte ich mal sehen was passiert wenn ich außer geißen, absolut nichts an Zeit reinstecke, Wärhend dem Grow. Es wird hier weder Trainiert oder vorgezogen oder gedüngt, noch sonst etwas gemacht. Und so endstand mein kleines Experiement mit dem Namen: Zero Maintenance Grow. Trotz diversen ungebetenen Gästen, wie Tripse, Gartenwanzen Spinnen und Mehrtau haben sie es bis ins Zeil geschafft. Viel, ist dabei nicht rumgekommen. Aber das war auch nicht das Primäre Ziel. Aber schön wers gewesen. Rückblickend wäre eine Indoor-Vorzucht in jedem Fall angebracht gewesen. Im Nächsten Jahr werde ich auf jeden Fall ein Paar Dinge anders/besser machen. Es hat auch wirklich Freude gemacht, mal zu sehen was passiert, wenn man es einfach laufen lässt.

Finally harvested this girl at days 68. She is heavy. After cutting the ties, this girl just fell over from the weight! Very minimal larf! Even the lower bud sites are nice! Can't wait to see what she weighs once dry! First DWC grow was an overall success!

Very easy plant to harvest, didn't have too much leaves, so very easy to take out fan leaves and prepare to dry.

Week 9 6/2-6/8 Now at the start of week 9, my outside gals, except L. Cake are now in flower. One of the last top view photos 6/2 of Opium shows flowers forming. She is over 6 feet tall. From the side view photo of Opium last week to the photos take 6/3 show a growth spurt compared to the zinnia in the flower stand behind Opium. This is the first week I’ve had to add nutrients to her feeding. Some lower leaves were yellow. Since I’ve been using amended soil, this indicates Opium is a heavy feeder. Nutrients in soils are used up and she is starting to use her own food sources. Our temperatures are nearing mid 80's with high humidity. The plants are requiring at least a gallon of water a day. 5 gallons well water TPS1 60ml used 1 gallon per plant =12ml Cal-Mag 25ml used 1 gallon per plant =5ml Recharge 5ml used 1 gallon per plant =1ml Signal 1.25ml PPM 1414, PH 6.93, Temp 82.5 Note I do not have to PH adjust my well water. However, our city water comes out of the tap at 8.2 ph so I must PH down using the hose or my inside grows, ============ Germination April 6. From seed - LA Kush Cake - Just about done- Started flush three days ago. Very stinky and sticky now- piney lemon aromas of stankkkk kushhhh La kush cake can run into mid October but going to pull sooner than 15th probably… Caterpillars became very active last week and I’ve been picking one off my my top cola every twelve hours or so :/ … luckily they’ve focused on two specific plants so just babying them now making sure they don’t destroy all my gorgeous work. Lil buggards burrow into the nugs decay the buds fast so precious state right now during this time of year/ state of plant.

It's been a pretty easy week. Enjoying watching the buds get thicker! Just going to coast to the end at this point....hoping to harvest within the next 2 weeks. Already getting excited for my next grow...thinking Ethos Planet of the Grapes or Ethos Crescendo.

Did some more defoliation but keeping her going as she's wrapping up the stretch. Really starting to flower now, which took way longer than I expected. She's a late bloomer for sure, not the best for growing outdoors, this was a test seed though so I just kept her going. Amsterdam Genetics doesn't recommend this one for growing outdoors btw.

After 21 days in turbo cloner I transplanted 4 Sweet seeds Green Poison into 1 gallon plastic pots filled with Cana coco. Few days later I transplanted another 4 clones into DWC! Stay tuned! Coco feed at 700ppm Dwc feed at 480ppm

This week of growth was good for the Platinum OG from MSNL seeds Even tho it's still spring here in Australia , my part of the country is already experiencing days over 40 degrees celcius 😐 With a forecast of up to 42 for this friday the 1st of November 😥 So I have reduced the lighting time down to 14 hours for all of my seeedlings, to give them an extra break from any stress they get from the high temps. Other than that I continue to just give them water when they need it , Keep it simple is my way of growing . Cheers as usual for stopping by 👍v

Week 6 in the books and the harvest countdown is officially on. Aromas are rising, trichs/resin are ramping—super stoked. Spotted a couple gnats, so I dropped in yellow sticky traps for insurance. Cooler days = a slightly cooler tent; hoping that helps the colas tighten up. The biggest plant is still lightening/yellowing despite a Cal-Mag increase, and when I didn’t see improvement I also did a flush + EC reset. Buds are swelling (maybe a touch lighter on terps than her sisters). I’m seeing some brownish specks on leaves of the first plant on the right and the last on the left—leaning mild Ca/Mg shortfall. I bumped the Cal-Mag base and the yellowing seems to be easing. Question: would you keep nudging N/Cal-Mag, or let her ride since the flowers are filling in? Any Week-6 tricks you like (small night-temp drop, enzymes, etc.) before the final push? Can’t wait for next week’s bulking—corn-on-the-cob buds covered in frost would make my season. Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows.
