Week 4 for these girls. They've doubled in some since last week. I took a couple of the bigger fan leafs off this week, also raised my lights up allowing some stretch. Starting to see some preflowers and pistols. So next week will be off to the flower stage. Happy Growing.

Welcome to week 4! The plants are really growing along now so we will be looking to transplant as soon as possible into their final homes ( 5 gallon ) I will be topping the plants this week to get some of that branching going and we will be looking to start the flowering process sooner then later. Im aiming for 2 weeks more of veg then flower time if things are in order. Huge shout out to @MarsHydroLED for allowing me to grow with their kick ass equipment! Day#23 Pictures N/A Transplanted plants into their 5 gallon homes except for 2 went into 7s and 2 stayed in their same buckets. Watered 1/2L each at 550PPM Day#24 Plants are digging their new homes , we took some video action. Its getting hard to fit all the plants in 1 frame haha. Day#25 Pictures N/A Plants are just growing along , going to top in the near future. Day#26 Watered ladies 1L each from the bottom at 550PPM. Going to be bottom feeding from here to see if it makes a difference. Day#27 Topped the plants let the branching begin! Day#28 Ladies look unhappy but thats them adjusting for their new nodes! Recap: Things are pushing strong this week we topped the plants and they are growing like nothings happened. I dont know that Im a fan of bottom feeding the plants but well see how things develop in the near future, I may have to practice the technique until im comfy with it as I would normally top feed.

Rainbow melon what can I say? This plant is absolutely one of my favorite so far out of the fast buds genetics. I’ve grown a couple other genetics before and I have to say fast buds definitely checks all the boxes almost makes it too easy. The plant literally grows itself like it has a mind of its own handling low stress training absolutely amazing. Seems like it wants to have a perfect canopy. Very little TLC and the plant absolutely is thriving. 🌿🔥

MONDAY: Taking all those cuttings last week seems to have really triggered her auxins, all branches are stretching, even the ones I cut from, but her main is reeeaaalllly stretching.. I think I'm gonna have to either top her or supercrop her. I've got to keep her height down so she isn't too much of a pain to deal with in a tent full of her little clones. this fall. Or maybe I'll just stick her in a closet somewhere and keep about 15 watts on her all winter long, then take some more cuttings to put outdoors? I wish I know for sure how well she smelled/tasted/intoxicated. I'd hate to learn she's a super-plant and not be able to grow her again... WEDNESDAY: I gave her a drink of water with bud candy and calimagic and started foliar feeding with Flower's Kiss. THURSDAY: I checked her clones today...4 have rooted very well and going into 3 gal pots tomorrow. Foliar fed her and told her how beautiful she looks. FRIDAY: I gave her a gallon of grow nutes including Microbe Brew and also started her on Terpinator. I planted 7 of her clones in 3 gallon (white) fabric pots today. They are sharing the 4 x 4 tent with the 6 x White Widow + 1 x Candy Cane seedlings for now. SATURDAY: I planted 7 of her clones today in 3 gallon (white) fabric pots. I added two new blue/cold white LED panels to the 4 x 4 tent. They are kickass. Very low heat and excellent coverage. The 2 lights is overkill for this space, but I like it....a lot. So much so, that I will order 4 of them in 660nm deep red for flowering..two for the 4 x 4 and two for the 5 x 4. I also bought and installed a 16' string of 300 Cold White (7000k)/Warm White (2800k) strip lights(150 each). It has a remote control which lets me change over to warm white for flowering...or have steady cold white and pulse warm white..or whatever. I think that they will serve as excellent low-heat side/corner lighting. Kinda pricey because in addition to the lights, you have to buy a controller and power supply, but they seem very effective. I plan to order another set for the 4 x 4 tent. But, it's a double-row set (600 leds) ..one row of lights is warm white, and the other is RGB adjustable, so I can run 440nm blues for veg and 660nm reds for flower. I plan to keep them just below the canopy so as to illuminate the secondary and tertiary buds as much as possible. Once this concept is proven (and once I save the money), I'll do the same thing in the 4 x 5 tent. Update: Ok, so I've decided I'm only kinda happy with the strip lights.. I've decided to try velcroing 4 of those 4' integrated led tube lights in cold white for veg and warm white for flower to my horizontal poles. The cold white(6500k) are 2-rows of lights that pull 36w and put out 3000 lumens each and the warm white(2700) are single row pulling 24w at 2200 lumens each.

Ok guys so she was bushy again and so we did defoliation again. You can see the difference and then after that started flowering even more Plus the fact we are increasing the amount of molasses added to the soil plus the floranova bloom nutes. They are very thirsty girls, taking around 1.5-2lts per 48 hrs So almost like a 1 liter per 24 hrs Very good SoG to make them feel even more comfortable Going to change schedule from 24/0 to 19/5 and see if they evolve! Thinking about adding some humus to the soil as well, other than that they have been under good conditions Temp is steady at day time around 24C top and night time is 18-19C minimum RH around 45-60% Mostly 45% control environment with AC Cant wait to see big colas coming soon! I started flushing her on day 51, the buds already look like they’re swelling more aggressively. She is also expressing some dark purple tones on the buds up top. I had an issue with her almost falling over on herself so I gave her some resistance towards the opposite side. A few more flushes and I’ll cut her down. Day 60- her purple tones have really been showing up, today they were very noticeable, still no sign of amber trichomes, the majority are cloudy though.

Smell is getting intense which is a good problem I always like having lol got the carbon filter running 24/7. The GroBucket system really keeps the soil at the perfect moisture level. Made a aeroponics system that’s got me intrigued lol but all and all things are coasting by it’s just on me to keep environment stable and the reservoirs filled. I've brought the PPM down again and kept the pH at 5.7-5.8, plant looks great first grow so very happy, Alot of Trichomes and don't know if I should be getting ready to flush and harvest, buds still getting fatter and she's still thirsty and drinking water but a lot of amber pistils and not sure if the crystals are clear or Milky but plant looks Great, just unsure when to harvest, I've reduced nutes a little more and calyxs still fattening up, gonna hopefully start flushing at end of this week for about 2-3 days in my 4gallon bucket

Flush Harvest next week

For my second grow, I am OVER THE MOON!! I just yielded 16.1 ounces (wet trimmed) from a single lady in a small 23"x19" x 48" DIY tent. The strain; Mandarin Cookies v2 from Ethos Genetics, was very easy to manage and did not have any issues even in my small space. It was really difficult to determine the run time, it suggested 9 weeks from the breeder, I ended up going almost 13 weeks!! the trichomes stayed white

Week 7 of flower in the books and the Kush is in the home stretch. Pistils are all turning orange and buds are getting thick and resinous. She's got a nice citrusy smell and the colas are all swaying in the breeze. Shout out to Seedsman for these stable genetics. No deficiencies or issues that I had to fix along the way. Really happy I still have a couple more seeds left over.
