Week 4 update - had to list it as a flower week as we flipped em half way through. Exotic wasn’t lying - the spicy bitches hit maturity rather quickly and we now have a guaranteed 2 males and 3 females - perfect ratio score👌👍. Balls started showing in a span of 12-36 hours. One of the females entered flower early so she may be a dud, an auto or just stressed for some unusual reason. We’ll probably either separate er or let it grow with the rest and pitch it. Won’t be using that seed knowing that underlying issue. Similarly, one of the males has also demonstrated some fan leaf mutation - I actually like this kind of variation and it makes things interesting so bonus there👍. The rest of em are doing just fine. So god damned nice to have a run that’s on a quick schedule to finish within 3 months. It’s been a long year for the pollen chuck and we’re really looking forward to the upcoming all fem. Run. For now though - conditions look ripe for a bunch of awesome crosses, any one of which could be pure 🔥. Till next week yall🤟. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Last time im growing this INDOORS. plant is waaay too big for my tent, she finaly is flowering now and ill have to keep pushing her under the net because it cannot go any closer to these leds.

She was trimmed and topped this week with an increase in nutes. Introduced some LST as well.

THC is fu*king too much. This model is very very very high on brain. Structure is very glue, full silver trichomes and frosty. After curing - The smell and taste are quite gorilla-like with hints and undertones of delicious strawberries. The structure of the buds is very sticky and full of trichomes. Beautifully growing and compact. The smell is extremely strong!!! It smells a lot and everywhere.😄😆 I recommend it to people with many years of experience. It is very strong THC+ and definitely not for everyone.

Day 62 Its time to switch the light off. The plant stay vor 72h in the dark, to reduce the chlorophyl. And than is harvest time

Now we've reached day 25. We are in the transition phase, pre-flowering if you want, when the seedlings reveal their sex by showing the white fluff or the boyish balls. Here and in all F1 Hybrids you can be SURE, SURE as death that you will never see any balls. If you have underestimated this aspect of the F1 Hybrid, go back and think about how many times you found the balls on the paint, full of pollen that fertilized your ladies. Do you like having young ladies impregnate you? Absolutely not for me and this is a very valid reason why you can choose the F1 Hybrid. Really guys the seeds suck and the genetics of the various breeders if they don't do a job like this it means that they are super hybrid poles with genetic traces scattered here and there. Inglourious bastards. Here we don't want to be Aryan but to cultivate healthy plants with safe results. Our Watermalon Candy F1 per mea culpa mea culèa mea grandissima culpa shows some signs of overfeeding, the famous yellow tips of the leaves. Let's be clear, this is minor and is due to the fact that these genetics are so good that they need very little or no fertilizer in the vegetative phase. Then if you already have fertilized soil, forget about growing guys, another pro! I gave the recommended doses even a little less to tell the truth of both Aptus and Plagron and the plants more or less all have these small signs of over. LITTLE guys, wait until the end to save if you feel like it, or at least I recommend it. To fix this little thing we go to flush with pH 6.2 and only give Aptus Regulator which should rebalance the plant and soil before delicately moving on to fertilizers for flowering. We've reached the end of this journey, the result was good, a very good strain to cultivate, a little sensitive at first, but then it reacted very well. The buds had a very good aroma, dense and resinous, now just wait for the drying and curing process to complete the cycle.. ✌️✌️✌️

Week 7 of flowering and the ladies are looking great, a couple more weeks until harvest. I keep the nutrs the same until the end phase where I will only add some Flawless Finish to my water.

Got hydro halos setup because I need to be able to go away for work for a few nights, Was actually really easy to setup and works awesome, I got most the parts plus all my nutes from my local hydro store. I'm using cocoforcannabis.com as a guide for most of this grow and his site includes details on how to setup an auto watering system. At this point I'm still using Professors Go Green for cal-mag and following the GP3 feed chart to mix nutes to the right ratio and then diluting with cal-mag water to target EC (300-400EC for wk 1). Some of the plants had clawing leaves and were really dark green - I read that this could be caused by nitrogen toxicity and I'm concerned this may be due to the Go Green as it seems to be intended as more of a deficiency fix rather than a regular use cal-mag supplement for coco. Some of the leaves on one of the plants started getting rust spots like calcium deficiency, Canna Coco comes pre-buffered and I was adding Go Green so it had plenty, I think the likely case is that nitrogen toxicity may be blocking calcium intake also. I intend to change to Green Planets Pro-Cal which has low nitrogen and is made to work with their line of nutes. Also we named the girls! My roommate and I were pretty baked if you can't tell...

Pretty good week, no problems. Added a dehumidifier yesterday (Saturday). And also bought a new light. The light should arrive on Tuesday. Looking forward to that because then I’ll be able to spread them out further so they’ll all have as much room to grow as they need. I believe they’ve started flowering, that happened like day 24 when I first noticed the white hairs coming out of the bud sites. They really took off growing mid way through the week. Like twice the growth as the prior week. I haven’t been defoliating per se, I have been tucking & tying leaves down. Many of the secondary flowering nodes have actually surpassed the main cola’s of my plants height wise. Those that did I tied slightly back down. Really wish I could cut a few branches off them without stressing them out. Oh well. Such is the bane of autoflower growing. The new light I bought is a Colofrog 2021 CF 2400 LED w/Samsung LM301H Osram Diodes. From what I gathered online, it’s a better light than the Mars hydro tsw 2000 I currently own. I’ve got my ts 1000 in the tent currently just to get through until the new light comes Tuesday.

LST started only on the Northern Lights and one of the Lemon Shining Silver. All nutrients only being applied to the automatics (N. Lights and Dwarf). The Lemon still being fed with Grow, Fish, Heaven and Acti-vera plus small portions of Call mag as preventive. Quantity of water was reduced to improve the drainage and also to raise the amount of watering in a week. Before 2 times, now 3. Notes: The N.L 02 is growing in a pure soil as an experiment. Dark green leafs and fast growing terpenes. The N.L 01, she's growing with only the fingers leafs. Dwarf is the most beauty and healthy between them. All those three Lemon are growing beautifully and look going pretty well in hers vegetative phase. LST applied only in one of them as an experience.

The final week for the cough. She has had an easy week and will spend her last 7 days on just water and some humic acid/growzyme. I'll go to just water for her last feed which I expect to be on Friday. Her run off is still a 1.4 s she has food in her substrate. Not much more to say. She's fat with probably the most dense top I've grown to date. It's like there are at least 3 layers of flower growth over the buds with a fourth layer coming in, in the form of some foxtails. Can't really explain it but trust me it's dense.. super sweet smell also and very sticky to the touch. She has chewed through most of her fan leaves and I will remove any old ones through the week to aid with the trim/harvest Thanks for passing through. Grow well 👍🏼💚🌿🇬🇧.

21/04/2023 Day 65 We are almost there, I can see pistils are quite mature now, maybe less on the top, but that's fine to me. Tomorrow will I will begin the Kleen for 3 days and harvest on Tuesday 25. 23/04/2023 Day 67 Now 100% with Final Clean (TA), EC 0.2 (because it mixes the remaining last nutrient mix from the upper tank 4L against 12L in the lower tank) I've just realized I messed up with the Diary weeks, can't be at Week 11 yet, on day 67. Hand the week showed on Diary cover is even set to 12. Not sure if I could set 10 to this one too. Will try anyway. => no, I can't go back, I would be able to set 12, good when you're late in publishing though..
