GelatoGandalf No big surprises here. Not the fastest seedling but also not bad.

GelatoGandalf A little outdoor action for the lady. This was planned as an outdoor project but after my other girl died she will take the place in the tent.

GelatoGandalf Back in the tent and she is making some decent progress. expecting pre flower anytime now. not too happy with my Training because it's not very symmetric but in the end what counts is that she opens up. I had to up Cal Mag bc of the obvious deficiency. not sure what those spots are but i will keep an eye on it.

GelatoGandalf What's up friends, this week we can see some decent progress again. I am trying to keep her low and stretch her to all sides, which also means I have to go over the edge of my pot. She is getting 1.5 liters of water every third or fourth day. I upped Cal-Mag again because even with foliar spray every two days before lights out, the spots aren't going away, even though she looks much better. Also, I am giving a lot of light, so it's probably better to be precautionary. On day 25, I already added some Bloom, as I expect preflower to hit next week, and I want her to have the right nutrients available already. Otherwise, I try not to overstress her or anything. The mantra is: one action every 48 hours. In between, I'm only leaf-tucking or occasionally readjusting LST. D26 First pistils are here! I gave her one last round of LST to push down the over-eager tops and level the canopy before letting her stretch. Next stop: lollipop, but not for at least a week. Until then it’s just leaf-tucking and stretch time. PPFD bumped to 550 µmol. let’s go! D28 time to water again. Day VPD is at 9 Night VPD 6

GelatoGandalf D29 I had to bend a bit again, she’s still stretching mostly at the top nodes, but I’d like the lowest ones to catch up for better canopy coverage. If she doesn’t respond now, I’ll work with what I have and lollipop anything that doesn’t grow high enough in a few days. This run I’m aiming for an early-flower lollipop and defoliation to minimize stress once she starts building buds D35 I lollipoped and defoliated over the weekend. There's quite the height difference between left and right but I don't want to bend her anymore. She's still very short with 25cm so I am scared I might stress her too much in her stretch if I keep going. She's getting 2 liters of water every third day. Think she's in general a bit slower but that's probably from the training.

GelatoGandalf D37 still trying to slow the tops, but i think that ship has sailed. tilted the pot to flatten the canopy a bit. i planned to defol and lollipop way less, but the east/southeast side got so dense i had to go back in. kinda worried i’ve ended up with too many tops. curious how much stretch is left, maybe this is about it but this grow doesn’t feel halfway yet. internodes are tightening, pistils/early buds are starting, but she’s a tad behind schedule. overall healthy though; part of me wishes i’d either not trained at all or just topped once and called it. Always trying to be hands off until I can't. Hopefully I am not fucking around too much. D40 she’s starting to get a bit too leafy, so i’m dialing back the enzyme-heavy supplements to push her into more generative growth. since the last defol she’s put on a lot of new leaf mass, so i want to keep the energy moving toward bud development instead of more foliage. generative = flowers, vegetative = leaves, and right now i want her in flower mode. fed 3L today: 3 ml/L calmag 1 ml/L grow 2.5 ml/L bloom 1 ml/L topmax 2 ml/L activera 4 ml/L alfa boost she’s healthy and happy overall, but i’ll be watching the canopy closely to make sure she stays focused on stacking rather than just making more leaves.

GelatoGandalf D43 Did a bit more training and some selective cutting today to open things up and improve light penetration. Also gave her a full feed, keeping the balance between generative and vegetative inputs in mind. She’s drinking well and looking healthy, with buds continuing to form and pistils stacking. Canopy is still filling out after the last defoliation, but airflow and structure feel good for this stage. D47 still late transition / very early flower. fresh long pistils everywhere, little stacking yet. feels ~a week behind, stretch still rolling. tweaked targets: holding ~600–650 µmol at the canopy (≈45–50k lux mid-canopy), canopy 25–27 °C. vpd 1.1–1.3 kPa by day, 0.8–1.0 at night. feeding stays bloom-first with ro water: cal-mag 3 ml/L, grow only 0–0.5 ml/L, alfa/kelp toned down to ~2 ml/L about once a week. watering 3.5 L to 4 every 48 hours. no more hard bends, just leaf tucks and removing blockers for light/air. if this holds, stretch should wrap next week and buds start stacking properly. rough harvest window ~4–6 weeks out

GelatoGandalf D51 She slowly starts stacking. You might notice my nutrients changed a bit. Alfa boost and cal mag is empty and I don't plan on replacing them. In fact I am going to throw away everything that's left from Bio bizz after that grow. Those bottles are open for a year already and it's not very pleasant to work with. Cal mag from BB has a very questionable effect, had to use 5 times of the recommended Dosis and I still got spots on my leafs. Whatever. D56 since yesterday she’s started throwing a noticeable smell and finally a bit of frost. the aroma is that familiar, old-school orange. takes me right back to something i grew as a teen. excited to see what the next few weeks bring and to see her in full flower/bulking.

GelatoGandalf D57 week 9 started with a bit of bending and defoliation. growth is way too dense in a few spots. opened the canopy for airflow and i'm already thinking about a bigger tent. she's bulking nicely now: pistils stacking, first calyx swell, a touch more frost. leaves look better with the extra N, so I will keep that up for now. switched from fulvic to topmax to finish the bottle and keep humics simple. running ~75k lux at the tops, vpd ~1.1 day / ~0.9 night.
