Sprouted within 2 days, unfortunately I had them in the dark & when I checked them I was surprised to see they had sprouted already but had stretched a lot looking for light.
Planted into final 15 ltr pots, put into veg tent, started automated feeding on light nutrients. Automated watering, pump turns on & waters plants for 15 minutes out of every hour. Recirculating hydro, I run air pumps to my resovoir to provide airated water/nutes to the plants. Hydro system is a 15 ltr pro pot recirculating adjustable height system. Inner & outer pots! Inner pot has plastic mesh type of bottom , holes everywhere to allow roots to grow through, this sits in a sealed pot apart from 19 mm drainage hose, & has 3 adjustable heights. Which is very handy when you have plants of different heights, as it helps to level them out. Drainage pipe is waround an inch or so off the bottom, so that their is always water/nutes in the bottom of pot, another reason I run air lines. Plants grow big root system's in it! At harvest time when I take the top pots out the roots have filled the entire space & are really compressed! Absolutely crazy! I run the same set up in veg & flower & as I grow perpetualy it makes it easy to simply pick up the inner pot & move it & place it in flowering tent & set up. System can be purchased with a 3rd pot as to be used upside down as a base to get pots of the ground so they can be drained back to a res. Instead of doing like that I simply built a table to sit the system on allowing me to drain it to a res underneath, it came at a good price as well, grows awesome plants.
Unfortunately because they were in the dark when germinated & sprouted they stretched for light quite a bit, which made the stems weak, I had to support some but 1 of the Tropicana Cookies was to weak & bent right over. I tried to stake it to support it but it died a few days later! I have put another Tropicana seed in to a jiffy starter to replace it. Added a fan to help strengthen stems & it has started to strengthen them up allready
Veg day 39 week 6. These plants were mainlined to produce 12 to 14 colas ( branches) , completed last round of topping.
They are now free to start growing upwards. They have developed really strong thick branching due to pinching the stems, H.S.T.
Have done my share of damage to them, getting a little bit rough with some of the branching, splits & breaks in stems.
Although they are very hardy plants & don't seem to be affected by it to much & it also helps to strengthen stems & branches to support the weight of BIG DENSE BUDS, & also aids in the increase of nutrients being delivered to your plants because it also increases the size of the Nutrient highway! (The hollow inner middle of the branches gets bigger allowing the uptake of more nutrients and water.
Although these plants might look small for 7 weeks old, it's because of the way I've been training them, to grow horizontally & all the H.S.T I've performed to get a really strong, thick structure & also as I've had to manage the height as they will be in veg until the plants in flower are finished & I can transfer them & start flowering.
Continue tying branches down as they grow & separate growth tips. Also defoliate leaving only top growth as this will be removed later anyway.
Very hardy plants that have handled all the H.S.T & my accidental abuse with no worries. Very thick strong branching.
Finished training & now letting them grow upwards to get a bit of size before they get put to flower.

It's been a pretty easy week for these girls as I've left them alone to do their thing. Finished with most of the training & just letting them grow upwards now , they have developed a really thick/strong structure.
Have started veging a purple lemonade monster cropped clone that has developed a good little root system. This clone is to fill the 6th pot in flowering tent as I lost a Tropicana Cookies seedling earlier in veg.
Obviously it won't be anywhere near the size of the others but at least it will be better to have something in that space than nothing, just waisting light. Should veg a week or 2 before going to flower & then it's a monster cropped clone so it will go crazy with branches, producing twice as much. So at least I will still get a yeild from that space.
Hi Gromie's, well it's the end of another problem free week!
Week 9 going into week 10 of veg!
I don't usually veg for this long but I'm just trying to get the timing right for perpetual harvest.
Plants in flowering tent were harvested & drying now for 5 days, so these girls will be transferred to the flowering tent in the next few days for the start of flowering, I've allready planted new seeds for the following grow, so just trying to get on top of the timing for everything related with perpetual growing.
Thinking of setting up a 4x2 tent with a 4 inch extraction fan & filter for drying, so I can cut out around a week, that way as soon as I've harvested & cleaned the tent I can transfer plants from veg instead of having to dry in the flowering tent. Have developed really strong & thick structure's from the H.S.T & L.S.T training. Plants are nice & healthy.
Performed 1 last defoliation before they go to flower as they get very bushy quickly.
Time for flower. Cleaned my flowering tent & equipment & transferred the girls from veg tent.
Developed really nice structure on these plants.

Removed the 2 Xs 1500's (300watts) & replaced them with 2 P1000 (200watts) lights, now running 680 watts.
These lights fit in better & have air space all around to help cool them, these lights run a lot cooler than the xs 1500s & only get warm not hot.
Started some clones.
Bad news!
I had to go away for a few days, which usually would be ok as it's an automated watering system.
However 1 of the watering lines to an Orange sherbet plant had come loose and ended up pumping all the nutrients and water from the reservoir all into the bottom of the tent!
This plant died from starvation/ lack of water as it went a lot longer without water than the others as it was the one with the loose feed line.
So the others still got watered until all was drained from reservoir.
These pots also hold around half an inch of water at the bottom at all times which is refreshed each watering which will keep them going a few days if pump fails.
These plants are starting to come back nicely .
Unfortunately due to me being extraordinary lazy this grow, not maintaining them properly & not on time & the watering issue they suffered they didn't meet their potential!
Because of this they didn't go through much of a flowering stretch!

Finally at the end of another grow, unfortunately it's the worst grow I've done!!!
My heart just wasn't in this grow! It started out well until the flowering stage.
Which was right around Christmas, super busy with other things, not maintaining them every day.
Leaving them days at a time 4 to5 days before checking ph & ec!
So they were constantly rising to high levels, went away a few days & had a watering line come loose flooding the tent & draining the reservoir so they had no water or nutrients for days. Pure laziness!
