This strain is very heterozygous. 4 seeds were started. The 4 phenos were very different. I saved 2 of those phenos for my arsenal, which is quite exceptionnal. I ususally save just one pheno from a strain. The Pheno #1 was mainly sativa (75%). Long branches. Lots of fluffy buds. The more resistant to mold, but it has to be with the fluffiness. The taste was cheesy and spicy, which has nothing to see with the 3 other phenos. Not a single ressemblance with ak-47 parents as well. It shares the musky undertones of the strain, but nothing else. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. Terpene profile was deceiving, just as the cannabinoid content. The Pheno #2 has more indica in it (45% indica). robust and tall plant with dense heavy buds. No mold resistance at all. Biggest producer. The taste was earthy and musky with hints of wood. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. The Pheno #3 is my favorite one. It reminded me of the good old Ak-47, with her flowery/sweet/skunky smell and taste. Pure nostalgia! Tall and quite robust plant with huge fluffy buds coated with trichomes. She grows pretty similar to Lemon Skunk if you know the reference. Great producer of top quality buds. So sticky! In my top 3 sativa for 2 years. The aroma is very close to the old school Ak-47: sweet, flowery and skunky. It tastes like sweet lemon on the inhale, with a sharp touch of spicy lavender and earth on the exhale. IMO, that is the pheno we want to save from that heterozygous strain. Backcrossing this one would be a very good idea. The Pheno #4 is just as interesting as my favorite #3. The only issue with this one is about mold resistance. Crazy compact and heavy budst! One of the most productive I’ve ever seen too. More traits of the Ak-47 in the aromatic profile, but nothing like the #3. On the structure side, we can immediately recognize the sturdy and bushy structure of Ak-47. THC content is very high too. I suspect the CBD content to be high as well. The effect is a mood elevation, with good focus and a deep body relaxation; a bit similar to what White widow does. The aroma is earthy and pungent. Very skunky and musky. It tastes very sweet and earthy on the inhale, with hints of skunk on the exhale. That pheno #4 expresses the best traits of the Ak-47 in its structure, while pheno #3 kept the aromatic profile.

11/28/2020 She is starting to grow some pistils not as much as I would expect, But I can see in her leaves she is getting her nutes ! 12/01/2020 She's showing!, I do love how she is stacking uP👍 feeding 1 tbls blood meal blended into top soil, and watering to 10% runoff That should help into her stretch. Next feed will be wk.6 4-9-3 and last feeding.

Added a humidifier and removed the dome lid. They've been underwatered these last days and their size isn't what I would expect at this point. Update: 01/12 --> As you can tell by the look of those roots, they are ready to be transplanted into a 2 gal pot. They are starting to take off, especially the one on the left. I'll be adding Biobizz Root Juice at low doses in next waterings. Looks promising.

Planted just one seed November 29 into coco and a very light 4-4-4 Gaia and perlite blend. Pint size container for now, at some pint soon I’ll replant it into a 3 gallon fabric pot. I just saw the seedling coming out of the soil today.

Finished lovely. Really really quality product and I just wish it never ended 🤤

12/6 Update - seed is germinated and ready to grow! I will post a new weekly update tomorrow! So I had to scrap this plant - it was just growing too slow and it was unfortunately not a health plant. I decided to remove the plant altogether and have started a new seed. Since this plant will be four week behind its neighbor in the tent I will have to modify my approach to training on this one. I typically mainline - mostly just to utilize the space in the best way that I can. This time around I think I will just top it maybe once or twice and then let it recover for two weeks then flip to flower and manage out the lower branches from there. It will be kind of fun to do a side by side with these. The neighbor plant is super healthy and is almost ready for its first topping, I did however go through today and remove all of the growth from the plant (other than topping) so that should slow that one down quite a bit and give this new plant some what of a chance to catch up. Also - check out the worms!!! I pulled out that plant and reached down into the soil just to see what the worm activity was looking like - I pulled out this little ball of freshly hatched worms! Barney's Farm Gorilla Zkittles - Feminized. I'll be growing just one of these plants in this 2x4x5 tent. It will be growing side by side with another plant but I wanted to be able to document them separately. This is my fourth grow using this set up, I'm excited to document the process this time around! Again this strain was a pleasure to grow and very resistant to any changes or nutrients. I just wish I had more at the time but it was a feee seed and I only had one. Would be a decent harvest of some juicy tasty pineapple goodness 🍍💚

El ciclo fué perfectamente desde el principio. Bien es cierto que puse dos plantas y una fué la que tiró realmente bien. Se realizó una poda apical que respondió perfectamente creando dos grandes puntas y con un pequeño LST conseguimos ajustar el resto de ramas a la misma altura para que crecieran uniformemente y la luz les diera de igual manera a todas las puntas. En general me ha gustado mucho cultivar la AK48 DE WEEDSEEDSEXPRESS en primer lugar por la novedad, en segundo por la facilidad de cultivo y por ultimo por los resultados tan maravillosos de esta genetica 👌👏 Repetiré sin duda 😊💪 BUENOS HUMOS 🔥

Not sure exactly when she finished I believe around 3 weeks more than stated. Again this lady too everything I had to offer, always stood proud and tall and gave me no troubles at all! A pleasure to grow and one I will run again in the future.

Hi all..sorry for the 2 week gap..had some unforeseen events that took my attention. Plants are looking great..nice purple coming thru on the flowers and leaves. The flowers are just solid..full of trichomes. Very strong smell coming off them. Sweet smell has dissipated..more of a spicy pepper smell now. I have begun to flush.. Soon....🔥🔥🔥🔥
