DAY 28 flowering: Hi all Hope we are all fine and dandy in the grow diaries world this week. It has been a steady week this week with the ladies now focusing purely on bud site development . The only lady not really thriving is the smaller Mexican airline #1. It does seem she will be all plant and very little yield at this point but we will see it through. She isn't poor by any means but I do think she will have a inferiority complex within these beauties. Heehee Thankfully the other five ladies are powering on and producing some potential big bud sites. The stars of the grow are the Strawberry pie girls. These plants are huge and very, very productive . The lowers are developing some nice bud sites that in themselves look like beasts developing. They have really dense looking flowers that will no doubt become thick and possibly need some support on the side growth but seeing the stem strengths , they may be ahead of that issue themselves already. A perfect strain for an outside run for sure and with no training beside the tip spreading , they have easily now reached approx 4ft tall. The buds start really low on each limb with some node spacing initially large but the growing tips and main stem have a more stacked up bud appearance forming. I think they could possibly top my personal best for the autos at this rate. Both have about the same structure and bud building so I would hazard the same phenotype too. This is the second time I have grown this strain and the last one was very similar too. Very stable and should give some top notch nugs out. Six Shooter #1 is only slightly smaller than the Strawberry pie and has just as many productive side branches that want to show off too. Her sibling #2 was grown a lot flatter after the tip spreading and seems lost down low in the canopy now. She has a lot of buds tucked away but could easily be overgrown by the mexican#2 and Strawberry Pie #2 , if I am not pro active with her progress. As mentioned earlier, the Mexican airlines are both healthy and happy but the #2 is far more productive than the #1 . I do expect that the #1 will harvest a little after the others and that she may come through in the end. Overall these strains are genetic perfection this run . They have done their own thing with only the tip spreading being my intervention initially , and they have produced 6 perfect looking plants that are clearly different strains . From past experiences with these 3 strains , "The best is yet to come " with the development of their unique looking buds. Here comes some down and dirty bud porn only viewable to the faithful.!!! 25.05 As can be seen in the attached images, they are not ready to be switched yet. They still need another week. I have spread them across the entire surface of the tent and turned on the second lamp. I set them at 40% power, applied Soil Attack, a minimal dose of Nitrogen using Organic Grow BAC, and liquid mycorrhizae. This time, I adjusted the pH to 5.9 using an organic pH regulator. By the end of the week, I will remove four more plants, keeping a total of 25. Unfortunately, I will have to leave again for a week, which I'm concerned about because all the efforts might go to waste. :P. Keep your fingers crossed for the success of this cultivation! From now on, I will only water them until the end. After switching, I will also introduce mycorrhizae and provide foliar feeding. Videos were taken on day 37 of flower. This one has a heavy strawberry aroma and some strange lookin buds. Looks like it will fill in pretty good. It's on the far right of the tent in the videos next to the purple leafed plant.

Day 14. Weather is finally warm enough to put them out completely. Was kind of concerned with even getting them to this point. I started them fairly early. Day 15. May 9th, 2024 They lasted all night outside finally and will stay. I did add some worm casting on top of the soil. I plan to add some veg nutes soon. Will be using roots organics terp tea line. But growing started to look more and more like work because i was more busy with programming my controllers for the ph / humidity / lights / co2 / temperature. Also the realization that i have 2 children and my own house made me nervous for the authorities because where i live growing is not allowed. So i decided to grow smaller where i previously had 200x180x200 space i opted for 70x70x160 with the result that i can only grow 1 strain at a time. The intention is to remain self-sufficient in this way and still be able to exchange or give away something here and there at a party. Although I am sponsored I will not be able to grow every strain because not every strain can deliver the result I need to remain self-sufficient. If you know of an auto strain or photo strain that takes at least 11 to 15 weeks I would like to know so that I can grow it in the future and of course I will try to set a record for that grown strain. Because during the 4 grows that I can do per year I can only try to achieve a record since I cannot show you multiple strains at once. The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. Had some ups and downs with this plant. mainly the extreme yellowing that was happening. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and I feel this has suffered in the end. The top best looking buds could have been larger and the lower ones could have been thicker. There is some smells with this plant but they are not pronounced. Just smells like mild basic weed, this would be one reason not to grow it, however, the crystals on this plant have been the most I've ever grown before. When trimming them every time the scissors snipped or the brush stroked I saw some falling down onto the tray. This plant would be great for making hash. had a good little ball of finger hash at the end of it and will be giving that to my friends to smoke or make a strong edible with. I don't plan on growing this strain out again, the lack of smells and the fact I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. most of the lower growth is quite larfy but will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 5.34oz or 151.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷151.6g = 2.22 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 151.6g = 0.24c/g It cost 24c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk Take 3 10th February 2022 Another Great week of flowering weather , even tho the daytime temps reach 40c the plants seem to be thriving 😀 with this one in particular 👌 I have not needed to add anything to this soil I made which goes to show that I made it almost perfectly this time around. One major difference to this lot is that I grew a crop of sweet corn in it last summer , followed by a full bed of leafy green vegetables such as Spinach , Kale , Silverbeet , Lettuce and Chard. I am now seeing the first signs that the girls need more but I am still waiting for the Guano to arrive 😏 Despite this She is cruising along really well and I predict a harvest in about 7 weeks . After locking them out for close to a week , I managed to get them going again. Just waiting for some Amber trichomes to show up now.

Der Samen ist aus haze Gras entsprungen kein breeder. Wahrscheinlich amnesia oder silver haze. Zumindest rauche ich diese Sorten meistens und daher denke ich der Samen stammt von diesen Sorten ab. Letztes Jahr war es das selbe und es waren Photoperiodische sativa strain. Falls jemand weiß welche Sorte es wird kann mir gerne schreiben. Heute umgetopft in seiner endgültigen Größe.

Sep 6: Lemon Cream Kush is shaping up nicely. Buds are starting to thicken up and get frosty. Might be a bit of a P deficiency going on but I dont want to over fertilize this late in the grow. Sep 7: one last round of malted barley and Power Bloom. Leaves seemed a bit too blue indicating P deficiency so another round of bloom nutes were applied.. Sep 12: don’t take flash pics of your plants unless you follow it up with a far red (730 nm) light to put the plant solidly into dark mode. Otherwise there is an increased risk of hermies.

Smelling stronger and with more personality than last week :D There are not many calyxes but they are swelling slowly and nicely :) Starting to get some purple colors in the buds already :D Her branches are thin and buds are gaining in weight so she is starting to fall!
