She's moving along at a nice pace. Bulking up while giving no real issues. Has some nice mass to her. She's a wee bit taller. And if I could redo something it would be applying HST to her after preflower. Lovely dank lemon kush smell developing. Super sticky to the touch and building a boat load of trichomes. This is my 2nd SweetSeeds grow. And I'll 100% be doing this strain again. (As I know what it's like, its being curing 45 days now). Xpert nutrients have been a gift in their application to its ease and fast results, I simply can't praise them enough. Has brought my bud quality up easily 2-3x and Increased bud quantity. Although, that's me knowing by looking at the plants. I roughly weight stuff, I know I got 1850 dry grams from 45 plants. 13-15 were 8L pots and small such as this. So, this was 1 of the biggest yeilders out of the lot.(crop is finished and burnt my way through 2/3rds of it, I've about a halfo of this for my night time smoke, while my last 6 plants from this crop have been curing 3 weeks now and will soon be smoked) biggest crop I've done. 45 plants was a feat, a real task keeping track with whos on what and using xpert nutrients made it much smoother and any slight ph mistakes or overf/under feeds didn't destroy 1 plant to the point were it was culled. Big thanks to ALL my sponsors. Whom I truly thank as I wouldn't have any of this without them. And to you my viewers. Whom I'd have no sponsors without. I thank you. DISCOUNT FOR XPERT NUTRIENTS 20% OFF CODE:ggst. Free EU SHIPPING Also, any new growers or struggling to purchase seeds and would like a few different strains. I've lots there. (Offer open to those who don't have lots of stock). Just DM me. Please be patient in response.

I almost despaired of getting my seeds to germinate after I moved house. Unfortunately, I seem to have stored them incorrectly during the move, so almost all of my auto seeds refused to germinate. But this single Mimosa Cake Auto from Fastbuds did manage it in only 2 days, and I'm very happy to be able to grow three plants at once after all. What a struggle! Because I was given a pretty olla (a clay pot that you bury in the ground), I'm going to try it out this time. Fertiliser cannot be added this way, but it should prevent the soil from drying out. In this grow, I used my usual nutrients from Greenbuzz-Nutrients, which I received as a sponsorship over a year ago. Time to use them up! As a substrate, I used the peat-free Lightmix from T.A. again. It is cheaper than alternatives with peat and better for the environment, so I recommend everyone to give it a try.

Fo' Twenny here back with another update! I will be updating and uploading more photos through out the week. I hope you'll ride along and give me a follow! The deets: Feeding with .2 ml/gal of RapidStart and .2 ml/gal of SuperThrive, Adjusted pH to 6.5 and then add .25 tsp of recharge. 8/16 - 8 days post sow. All but 2 seeds have sprouted. I was especially concerned for the Melon Gum because I only had a 2 pack and both beans were quite pale. I gently dug around in the peat pellets and found the bean with a fresh, healthy tap root! I expect she should be popping up by tomorrow evening. The other bean yet to pop is the Jenny Kush. I was gifted 5 Jenny Kush seeds, and I will wait until tomorrow to see if she sprouts a tap root before popping another one. Hopefully, I will have more luck with the next one. Successful germination in 16 of 17 photoperiod seeds. With a total of 19 of 20 if you include the 3 autoflowering cultivars running along side. They're being documented in separate diaries and will stay in the veg tent when the photoperiods are moved into the bloom room. Go check 'em out! 8/20 Update: Melon Gum has sprouted. If you're not following my Zkittlez Auto diary, you missed that I almost killed this girl on accident. Graceful me, knocked over her solo cup and she got stuck to a sticky trap. Her stem split in half and I put a piece fabric medical tape to mend her and she is actually growing and doing well regardless of her injuries. All the girls, except Jenny have sprouted and are developing. I planted a new Jenny seed 8/18 and left the original in too, just in case. Please feel free to ask questions or provide constructive criticism. Check back throughout the week for new photos and updates. I look forward to hearing from ya'll. Happy growing! Peace, ✌️ Love, 💚 And Frosty Nugs!!! ❄️🌲

8/26 - sporty looking great, praying hard! Posh is working on it. But look who finally showed up to the party! I’m calling her Baby spice. She sprouted 12 days after going in the soil. Way to be a fighter girl! This is going to be a tricky thing to manage I feel like my gals are tracking a week apart. I’ll keep this journal’s timeline on sporty spice. -1 week for posh and -2 weeks for baby spice. spice girls let’s grooooow! 8/30 - exactly two weeks from sprout for Sporty and Posh. Pretty wild how big a difference there is between the two. Baby is getting her footing. Now. Sporty already pushing 4-5 nodes and I saw a tiny root through the drain hole. Wanted to pot her up! About 8 cups pro mix, one cup perlite. About 1.5 tbs of Gaia green 4-4-4, some worm castings and sprinkled mycorrhiza around where the rootball would be. God speed girly! 9/3. Potted up Posh today. About a half gallon pro mix, plus about 1.5 tbsp of the Gaia green 4-4-4. Plus about a cup of worm castings, perlite, and mycorrhiza. Sporty is looking very happy, 5 nodes and counting. Added back my second light, let’s go girls!!! 9/5. Wrapping up week 2 here, so far I’ve been really impressed with the pro mix Gaia green and soil support so far. The girls seem happy and healthy. See you in week 3!

Hello Diary, The fourth week of flowering is over and we are slowly heading towards the end. Last week I did defoliation, so now there is better air flow through the whole plant. The leaves took on a yellowish color, but the flowers were not affected. They are covered with trichomes that are now visible to the eye and have been given a beautiful dark purple color. The volume of the flowers themselves is smaller than that of her roommates Purple Punch, I hope it will fill up a bit. As you can see in the photos, the Watermelon has a nice shape, it just looks gorgeous to me. In one watering I added Biobizz and that was the last addition of nutrients for her. From now on just flushing. Conditions in the growbox are good, the temperature varies around 25 degrees, while the humidity is around 40%. Now comes the stage when I start observing the development of trichomes through a microscope, it’s a special experience for me, like I’m looking at something from another planet. Here's a brief overview of the week: 11/03/2021 - Day 44. Watering. I didn’t add any nutrients, I just lowered p.H. water at 6.3. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.5 degrees and 36% humidity. 13/03/2021 - Day 46. Watering. p.H. I downgraded to 6.4 and added BioBizz as scheduled for the current week. This will be the last addition of nutrients. From now on only clean water. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 26 degrees and 39% humidity. 16/03/2021 - Day 49. Photographing for the end of the seventh week. That’s it for this week, see you soon with a new week. Greetings to everyone who looks at the diary.

Hope you are well. Thanks for taking the time. Little main line defoliation to focus growth. A cell is a quantum measuring device for light’s frequency to make order from the chaos that light frequencies bring from our environment. A cell performs mechanical resonance, where its intrinsic structures vibrate at specific resonant frequencies when exposed to external mechanical stimulation. Cells possess the ability to sense and respond to mechanical cues from their environment, a process known as mechanosensing. This can involve the activation of signaling pathways and changes in gene expression. Cellular resonance is a component of mechanotransduction, the process by which cells convert mechanical force into a biochemical signal that triggers a cellular response. Plants perceive mechanosensory stimuli, such as vibration and touch, through structures like trichomes (hairs) and specialized ion channels embedded in their cell membranes. Plants are sensitive to frequencies ranging from ultrasound to lower sound waves, such as 250 Hz. The perception depends on various factors, including the stiffness of the underlying tissue, which can be tuned by the plant to perceive specific frequencies associated with environmental cues like insect herbivory. While the exact molecular mechanisms are still being explored, scientists have identified several potential pathways that may be affected by acoustic vibrations in this frequency range: 4000-5000 Hz. Enzyme activity: Sound waves can increase the activity of certain enzymes, such as amylase, and elevate the content of soluble sugars and proteins. Increased stomatal opening in response to specific frequencies can optimize photosynthesis by increasing the plant's absorption of water and CO2. In addition to enhancing drought tolerance, sound vibrations can strengthen plants' overall resistance to stress. Studies have shown that some genes related to stress response can be activated by sound stimulation. The Emerson effect is a phenomenon where the combination of red and far-red light increases the rate of photosynthesis beyond the sum of the two wavelengths used separately. This synergy is important for understanding Extended Photosynthetically Active Radiation (ePAR), which includes the far-red spectrum, because it means a more comprehensive measurement is needed to fully understand light's effect on plant growth. ePAR meters measure light up to 750 nm, which is necessary to capture the far-red light that participates in the Emerson effect. The human eye can detect more shades of green than any other color due to a combination of our cone cell sensitivity and evolutionary history. Our eyes are most sensitive to the yellow-green part of the spectrum, which is the peak of our visual sensitivity, and a large part of our ancestry was spent needing to distinguish subtle variations in greenery for survival. or our primate ancestors, being able to discern subtle differences in green was crucial for survival. It helped them identify edible plants and avoid poisonous ones, as well as detect predators hiding in foliage. This constant need to distinguish shades of green drove the evolution of our color perception to become most sensitive to it. S-cones: Detect short wavelengths, perceived as blues and violets. M-cones: Detect medium wavelengths, perceived as greens. L-cones: Detect long wavelengths, perceived as reds and yellows. The primary reason for our enhanced sensitivity to green is that the peak sensitivities of the M-cones and L-cones are very close together in the green-yellow region of the visible spectrum. This overlap means that green light stimulates both the M-cones and L-cones, creating a more robust and detailed signal for the brain to interpret. In contrast, the S-cones are more isolated and respond to a much narrower band of light, leading to less sensitivity for blues. The brain's visual processing pathways also play a role. Our visual system processes color differences through "opponent channels," which compare the signals from different types of cones. The opponent channel that processes red versus green has a more precise and intricate system than the blue versus yellow channel, leading to finer discrimination in the green part of the spectrum.

I’m flipping 12/12 this evening. I had a little tip burn on a couple of leaves of the Fullgas. These were in the central area of the light so I just eased off a little on the light intensity and haven’t noticed any issue since. It’s also a little dark atm so will hold off adding the bio grow until next week. Update ** Ive upped the light power by 10% again and watered in 4ml of Alg a mic in 2L of water.

Still defoliating leaves as the turn yellow. Looked at adjusting the LST, but most of the stems are pretty firm by now, not a lot of flexy green ones. Buds on the taller plant are filling out a lot, looking pretty hairy. The shorter/bushier plant is looking pretty sparkly, but still not getting a lot of pistils. Not sure if the Koolbloom really helped that much or if it was just timing, but the buds definitely started developing a lot faster since I added it. Ready to wrap this grow up! Come on, girls!

Nutrients are the same as the week before, as they seem to be happy and healthy, changing out the res didn’t seem like an efficient use of nutrients. I have added 15ml of tea and 10ml of CaMg+ into the 55l res over this past week. As I could see the slightest touch of chlorosis on the biggest girl of the bunch. This has naturally raised my EC from 0.72 to 0.89. Both plants either side of centre were topped on D25. They were both working on their sixth node at the time and I cut them both down to their third node, but just below the forth (so it has a stump). Middle will probs be topped in a couple of days time, it still has some catching to do. I will be changing the res out on D27, but I will post that nutrient mix on next weeks journal.

06/03/19 - These plants have grown so fast, normally at this stage my previous plants have been much smaller, only 14 days old and got a 8-9 wingspan on the fan leaves, I’m really happy I’ve turned to mills as I’ve had no faults with them yet, I did see a slight cal defiency on one of them but this was my own fault not the nutrients, I heard I dident have to add cal mag as their A&B had extra in it, but as I’m in coco I made a mistake but I’m hopeing that it’s gonna be a quick fix and they will be back to normal in the next few days 🤞🏻 09/03/19 - the gelatos seem like their doing fine, had a few brown specs but nothing progressed and it looks like their doing good. 12/03/19 - started to LST/leaf braid today as their already big enough for it and should be switching to flower at the end of next week

12/15: Plant is looking real good, the roots are soaking with water and air, increased to the normal nutrient schedule, and have been adding ph down every day to keep it under 6.5. I also just lowered the light about a few inches, the taller bud sites were about 20 inches, I wanted to lower ones to get more light... the leaves haven't had any effect, the other bud sites seem to be thrivingg now. 12/17: water level down about 1/4 inch. Everything looks ok.

Restoration after massive defoliation looks amazing, but plant still is not flowering, is it still too early? Look at that crqck on photo, but plant still looks strong :)
