As said before, I'm incredibly happy that I got to harvest a little bit. Never expected her to make it, but she kind off did! The smell was pungent and sweet like an amnesia haze should be, hoping that will be even better after drying and curing!

📆 Semana 8: ¡Últimos riegos con nutrientes para la Gorilla Cookies! Esta semana hemos realizado el último aporte de nutrientes, manteniendo el equilibrio de PK para asegurar el máximo engorde antes del lavado de raíces. Las dosis han sido ajustadas para evitar acumulación de sales, y el pH se mantiene óptimo para maximizar la absorción. Los Adlite siguen demostrando su efectividad en esta etapa crítica. El Adlite UV55 ha impulsado el desarrollo de tricomas, logrando que la resina brille aún más bajo la luz. Por su parte, el Adlite Red55 ha intensificado el color y el volumen de los cogollos, consolidando flores compactas y aromáticas. La combinación con el Mars Hydro FC6500 continúa siendo excelente para mantener una luz intensa y homogénea en todo el dosel. Las temperaturas están controladas entre 23-25°C, y la humedad se mantiene en torno al 50-55% para evitar riesgos de moho o botrytis. Los aromas se están volviendo cada vez más complejos: la dulzura y el fondo terroso se intensifican, mientras que el característico toque a galleta de la Gorilla Cookies se hace más evidente. Los tricomas están mayormente lechosos, con algunos aún transparentes, pero sin presencia de ámbar, lo que indica que el proceso de maduración sigue en curso. Última fase de engorde y máxima expresión de resina... Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Week 4 of flower is done. Adjusted the nutrient solution to the temps/humidity (vpd). If the VPD is high the solution should be more diluted. (At a VPD of 2 the Water Transports and transpiration is twice as high compared to a vpd of 1). This week I lowered the day/night temp difference for pest and disease control. By week 6 I’m going to lower the temps in general for quality and terp preservation. A bit defoliation was done to keep up a good circulation of air and a good penetration of light. Day 17 17/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap Water today with calmag pH 5.9. It was a humid week🤦‍♂️, green house could not air out!! She is surviving and doing well though. Day 19 19/07/24 Friday Lite Feed today, 250ml each pot small run off. Seeing excellent start to these babies. Esta es mi primer planta que cosechó con éxito, y estoy muy feliz con mi resultado final 😄 obtuve una muy buena cantidad de flores premium con alrededor de 15% de thc (desde mi punto de vista claro 😅) Tuve algunos problemas durante el cultivo, principalmente que deje que se estirara mucho, debi hacerle LST a la punta principal para que no siguiera aumentando la altura y tener más flores del mismo tamaño, las flores más bajas quedaron chicas y les faltó madurar un poco, también tuve problemas de sobrefertilizacion aun a pesar de que seguí las instituciones de los fertilizantes y de sus indicaciones que me dieron los de servicio al cliente, incluso ya teniendo en cuenta eso siempre use la menos de la dosis de la base ya hasta que crecieron más le fui aumentando, igual creo que es muy cierto lo que dicen de que “menos es más” a la próxima empezaré usando muy pocos nutrientes, aparte creo que si hubiera usado unos leds más potentes, las plantas hubieran aprovechado más los nutrientes, pero igual me sirvió de experiencia, pienso cultivar de nuevo esta genética y sacarle más provecho. Muy recomendada 👌🏻😁

Taking a long time to see Amber on this one. Gonna cut down a branch and see how it smokes. Smell is nice, but not too strong. Think it may be done. We shall see.

Haven’t posted for a while but these babies are doing well despite the neglect from a few weeks. I’m locked back in now! Left is one of the Grandpa’s Cookies, middle is Money Maker, right is the other Grandpa’s Cookies. The GPA Cookie on the left is showing nice purple coloring. The GPA Cookies smell just like the Black Banana ancestry I heard about. Nonetheless both are getting really frosty. The money make is shooting out a lot of dense hairs so I’m not sure of this will translate to denser colas but the stretch was no joke. Here is to another week!

Fifth week of flowering

Day 28ish or so who knows at this point I lost track hahah. She’s so happy and praying looking like a very happy lady. A lot different then the first one we tried to grow. I am sooo excited for her.
