Doing great. Bottoms cleaned, waiting for a day or two to do a major defoliation. 17.11 Vast defoliation. All the bottom leaves and mids. Left around 4 top fan leaves On every branch. 19.11 Plants recovered perfectly, light is back to 100% . Unfortunately my Bluetooth app for mars hydro stopped working. Light cannot pair anymore with the app. Also irrigation is changed to vegetative crop steering.

week four flower everything looks fine so far :D I water them with 1.5l every 48h the light I use was set to 100% and it hangs 80cm away from the tops

Week 5

July 13: perfect cannabis weather after last week’s heat wave. Another heat wave next week, but for now it’s perfect. Added a third scrog layer and tied it off to some water bottles. This type of scrogging works, is easy, cheap, and it’s easy to still move the plant around the yard as needed. July 14: re-did the scrog net using a larger piece with more squares. Supercropped some ends to keep the growth tips at the same elevation. We’ll see how many colas I can make of this. July 16: looks happy enough but I need to up the water volume in this heat. July 18: really hot the last few days (33 C) so lots of watering and misting to keep them a bit cooler. Look really green and robust. 👍👍 Also wetting outside of grow bags to get some evaporative cooling for the soil. Added malted barley and Power Bloom to some soil and added it as a soil layer. Added plain soil on the top to deter birds from stealing the barley kernels. A bit less than 1 tbsp of Power Bloom per 1 gallon of soil with a bit more than 1 tbsp of malted barley per gallon of soil. #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

Der EC-Wert lag bei 1.430 mS/cm und der pH-Wert bei 6,2 -Tag 67 Heute haben wir sie mit 2000 ml Wasser gegossen, angereichert mit 1,5 ml Calmag, 6,5 ml Canna PK 13/14, 1 ml HY-PRO Epic Blast sowie 0,32 ml HY-PRO Generator. Der EC-Wert betrug 1,540 mS/cm und der pH-Wert lag bei 6,2. -Tag 69 da sie nicht so gut aussieht haben wir bei ihr der PH kontrolliert und der liegt bei 7 was nicht so gut ist, der EC-Wert lag bei 1330 wir haben ihr Wasser mit einem PH wert von 5,8 und Mikroorgansimen gegeben.

First day of the 4th week

Day 8 - First official day of veg and both ladies are looking good and on schedule for a couple of changes. Nutrients: 10ml of Hydro A & Hydro B were added to both buckets (10L of water in each bucket) PH: the Milwaukee PH controller was set to work - starting at a PH of around 7.6 - 7.8, it slowly worked down to a perfect 6.0 over about 50minutes. Lights: The lights were readjusted to be 60cm from the seedlings who are all between 8-10cm tall and the intensity of the lights were increased to about 70% brightness. Day 9 - Both plants are taking nicely to the adjustments and I am happy with the progress. Temp and humidity are stable and PH is controlled. Day 11 - The second nodes are clearly visible today for both Chong and Max which would hopefully put them at 3 nodes by the end of the week - right on schedule! Day 13 - The ladies seem to be showing some signs of heat stress, so thinking about adjusting the lights after their period of dark today because they are due to be adjusted tomorrow anyway for the new week of veg

Week 3 In the beginning of Week 3 I used 1/2 teaspoon of Grow Big which was a mistake! They really just needed to be left alone! Showed the tiniest bit of nute burn on the tips and when I saw that I went straight to checking PPM which was at like 1500 (yikes) and flushed until I got it down by 300 ppm. Should have waited until the 3rd set of leaves to feed! Luckily it was caught early and they are flourishing with no further issues. The side lighting from the T5 bulb really seems to be helping. They are really going along nicely, here's hoping I can get them through the net few weeks in the same fashion :) Moved the light down from 28 inches in the beginning to 17/18 inches by the end of week 3. The plants seem to love it and aren't showing any signs of heat/light stress

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Week 5 day 1. I have a favourite for next run. I’m very happy, I haven’t really defoliated at all this grow, just letting it grow. Wish I was going for mains(topping) but still very good. Going to wait around week 9 so seeds will be good for next run. I have decided to do very hard hst next round to show max potential. Very happy with supercropping so will do it very heavy with scrog. I will try to reveg the one I really like but it is difficult having only 1 set of lights and 1 tent. Plants are about 7ft tall, might just run 2 next round in 4x8 or will still continue to go 4 in the 4x8.

Yoooyooyoo, Wekk 13 got some ups and downs. I ran out of calmag starting the grow and kinda hoped i don't need it. If you have strong LED lights and like to have the light close to the canopy like me i would HIGHLY recommend you using calmag. You can see i got magnesium chlorosis pretty early on and the Plagron basic fertilizer did not provide enough with the low-ish dose i gave (1,2ml/l). I like to grow autos and you can't feed that more than that, it feels wrong to do it with photos haha BUT i did. 2ml/L EACH. and 0,5 calmag which seems enough. But me wanting to try out foliar spray (brilliant idea), because i already could see calcium spots on the leaves. kinda got me some slight toxicity (you can see the tips if you look closely) But she is gucci on calmag i can tell haha. Got a nice green color again and looks very healthy right now. she is drinking about 1-2L a day depends on the weather. DLI was around 35. She will look so good in a few weeks, i can't wait. Cheers (:
