week 2 day 3. maybe 200 ppm is a bit too much im actualy seeing tip burn on 2 of them i might remove 50 % water and add reverse osmosis water tomorow to lower nute concentration to around 100 will see how night goes.did the 50% water change and readjusted ph now everything looks fine. also iv lowered water level to 1 inch above bottom of net pot to promote more root growth i need to buy a par meter asap im scared to lower my veg led lower.some little issue with minor tip burn maybe from stress from power outtage or potassium deficiency from nutrient lock out ph went to 6.7 for a day cant get it stable so far.seems like ph as finaly settle down go check my video from grow room.2 of them are doing really well but 2 are in bad shape newbie mistake my ph pen was way out of range went to 4.8 for 2 days i calibrated it 2 days ago flushed system and ran revive only for 2 days ph has been spot on at 5.8 since flushed again yesterday and started adding nutrient back in very low dose 1/4 strenght plants now seems to thrive as roots entered the system today they already are like 6 inch long light just shut off i might do another foliar spary with revive and sensi cal mag extra and wet betty to help with damaged leafs from bad ph pen mistake next week if they have not fully recovered already in case 1 of them does not make it i have a spare 1 growing in coco whos ready to drop in system im still learning feel free to leave comments
after 2 weeks use 1/2 of the nute then you can add to voodoo juice and b-52) and connoisseur A+B during vegging but instead b52 use (sea food extract ) it is organic not b52 and connoisseur A+B is good but i would replace whit tarantula instead so voodoo juice /tarantula/piranha
might be discontinue then i use B1 super max for sea food extract all this in air-rated water
im having some ph swing using 1/2 nute should i use more nute?water changes with rodi system no improvement connoisseur A+b,voodoo,piranha,b52 ph will rise up to 6.7 even with ph down.suspecting potassium deficiency from nutrient lockout plants show a little tip burn
First I wouldn't be using all that at this stage u gonna have major problems and shes not locked out if she would be locked out u wouldn't see a nute deficiency u overwhelming her from wat u pumping in here in hydro your nutrient in take is alot faster I say go down to 1/4 if anything your plant will still uptake in the 6 ph range I've grew one out without ever checking for a Myth Buster type grow and watch the ph up and down additive it's not good for your plant if u use to much are on a regular basis cut back on the nutes and she should shake back 👍👍👍
should i start using first layer of scrog this week im planning on using 2 layers wait till next week?feel free to leave any other comments regarding grow 😀
Hello I would wait another week or so some of those branches are pretty short still . If you know you have the room keep growing them out and add net next week , they look healthy you also need to remember some strains do not like training like that if your tucking branches .. good set up lots of room to work with ...what light you gonna use for flowering the girls ..?
im using bud factor X and big bud from advanced nutrient with bud xl from house and garden everything seems fine what you guys think about it should i cut big bud from the recipe everything seems fine so far feedback on this subject or anything related will be apreciated😃
As long as your ec/ppm is not too high when using them together & if you are using them at the right moment then you can continue to mix them together. Just watch your plants during the next days or weeks to see a kind of excess or deficiency
I start feeding on day 3. At 1/4 dose. They don't need much food the first couple weeks so always go as light as possible on your nutrients. You can always add a little more nutrients but can't repair burned leaves. good luck!
Pretty impressive setup and detailed journal for a first attempt. Good luck with your grow. I wouldn't put any nutes in for the first two weeks, quarter strength for the next two weeks, and half strength for two more weeks before adding the full recommended dose.
I agree with the OP - you need a way to manage your nutrient solution temperatures. I would recommend 66 to 69 degrees F (18.9 to 20.5 degrees Celsius)
And yes 5.7 to 5.9 pH is ideal for Hydroponics but you do have some wiggle room.
Chillers can be expensive, until you are able to acquire one, You can utilize products like "UC ROOTS" or "Watermax" or other products that contain Hypochlorous Acid which increases the ORP value of your Nutrient solution and makes it more Bacterial Static.
Your air pump is a good size at 16 liters per minute for your approximate recirculating volume of about 20 gallons.
You may need to consider adding more Opacity to your grow modules to seal out light infiltration within your root zone, otherwise it looks like you are ahead of the game for a first time Hydroponic grow.
