Semana sel 9 al 14 de septiembre 2024. Vemos un desarollo bastante vigoroso en todas, esto también se puede adjudicar el hecho de la nutrición que han estádo llevando esta tanda se fem y regulares, la mandarine qué nació con apical va bastante bien.

Primeros signos de floración, encantado con la velocidad de este cultivo y con las vigorosas geneticas de Barneys Farm

Hola y gracias por pasarte a ver mi diario. Ya he cultivado esta variedad anteriormente y siempre me ha gustado su sabor especiado. La planta creció sin ningún problema pero con carencia de nitrógeno desde mitad de la fase de crecimiento. Al ser un cultivo 100% orgánico y únicamente con riegos de agua del grifo sin añadir abonos líquidos era esperable, creo que con unos ajustes en la mezcla del sustrato hubiese obtenido mejores resultados aunque el hecho de añadir todos los nutrientes al sustrato me ha permitido facilitar la tarea del riego y no tener que realizar el lavado de raíces. La planta se desarrolló en una maceta de 50L y ha producido 230g de cogollos secos, esponjosos y con una relación flores/hojas no muy buena. El olor de las flores húmedas era intenso con toques especiados. Respecto a plagas y enfermedades ha sido muy resistente, no he apreciado signos de araña roja, pulgón ni trips gracias al aporte de harina de Neem en el sustrato. Tampoco he sufrido el temido y habitual ataque de las orugas (ni la oruga de las hojas ni la del cogollo) gracias a las pulverizaciones en las fechas clave con Bacillus Thuringiensis. Tampoco se ha visto afectada por el Oídio que normalmente aparece al final de la floración en la zona donde vivo, ni botrytis El clima también me ha acompañado este año, vivo en una zona cálida donde la temperatura suele ser óptima para el cultivo de exterior de cannabis, el mes de mayo llovió algún día de forma agradable, junio, julio y agosto fueron especialmente secos, solo llovió un par de noches a finales de agosto, y septiembre también ha sido muy respetuoso lloviendo solo 2 veces. Por todo esto, siendo la primera vez que elaboro un supersoil, estoy seguro que para la temporada 2022 repetiré el sistema, haciendo algunos ajustes a la mezcla para evitar estas carencias que he comentado. Además aplicamos king crab ( bacterias de greatwithemyco) para potenciar el desarrollo de raíces ! Good week for this lovely lady. Her color has improved immensely and she's almost caught up in size to the Blueberry. Since they're settled in I took away the support hoops and will pack up the row cover. Yet again I think it did a fabulous job reducing stress from transplanting. I also added in some Calendula plants yesterday afternoon as they make good companions. It's gonna be a straight up partay in this garden bed😜 Update 6/26- I totally forgot to add that on Monday the garden got a spraying of horn manure. Horn manure is a biodynamic preparation of cow manure that's been fermented in a buried horn. This results in a material that's teeming with beneficial flora and fauna for the soil. Ideally it would be sprayed prior to planting in the spring as it encourages healthy root growth. I purchased the pre-potenized so that I only had to spend 20 mins stirring rather than an entire hour. That would have been brutal😵 I sprayed it at night when the earth is breathing in and used a spruce bough to sprinkle it over the plants in the garden. The extra icing on the cake was that there was a rain the day before, and another the day after I sprayed so it was well watered in.

I learned a lot this grow. The plant survived which lends to its resilience. It smells mostly skunky with some hints of rubber. Mistakes: 1. Overwatered seedlings 2. Ran unfamiliar nutes 3. Ran an unfamiliar feed method (fertigated instead of top dressed) 4. Gardened based on web description instead of what the plants were communicating to me. 5. Got a seed Successes: 1. They didn't die! 2. Got climate dialed in well 3. No fungus gnats or other pests! 4. Got 2oz total of good dry bud!

Girls are packing on weight, the bushy girl WW1 (the only red 1)is definitely behind the rest in terms of flowering, kinda shitty as it’s the only one showing significant stress from the cold nights. Found some powdery mildew on 2/4 girls. Mixed up 10ml Apple cider vinegar with 1 quart of water and gave the infected leaves a spray, over sprayed on the buds hopefully that’s fine. PM seemed to instantly disappear, I will continue to monitor. It’s definitely from the drastic temp changes, 3 at night and 25 during the day. The midget has some flowers now, no nutes, no trimming and it’s a dense bush. Showing no signs of stress or PM. Maybe she will live well into the cold and produce some harvestable bud, we’ll see! Fall is around the corner!
