Flowering looks awesome on the ChemDog! Lots of bud sites and they're growing at a respectable rate. ATF's are running 3 plants in 3 diff stages- one's a couple weeks into flower, one's just starting,and one's still the holdout. Meanwhile, I've got flowering on the Night Nurse and one of the Viper Cookies. The rest are close but I can't say for sure they've transitioned. Weather's getting into a hot and humid phase, gotta watch that ChemDog. Think it's got a decent structure for ventilation but I've read horror stories on how the Dog loves mold. Further training of the branches has been fruitful, I'm seeing a lot more topside bud sites than usual. I'm working on irrigation-- I set up a 30 gal container and it works for drip, but without a pipe system it's still one at a time, although I have to admit it's worth it to save my back. Plus, I have to have a supply ready for use in case my buddy needs to fill in for me and water the ladies. Been checking the cameras regularly ( I have them all throughout the property, game cameras with IR flash), and to date haven't seen anything that would constitute a threat. Just some curious raccoons and one really ugly opossum. Even the skunks don't bother them this year, which is nice but a little strange considering they dig in them every year. It's really just the animals I'm watching for, people aren't as much of a concern. Mostly because I don't know any. Aside from that, I sleep with my head feet away from my babies, so somebody would have to have big brass ones to even try. Yes, I know, a little overprotective. Fingers crossed it'll be one hell of a harvest (by my standards). 8/11 Update: Been lucky still with the weather, but it's turning really humid. Fed the girls this morning, a mix of 1C molasses and 1/2C epsom salt in 20 gallons. Just a little supplement to the tiger bloom they've been feasting on. Speaking of the Tiger Bloom, I can't help but think I'd do just as well mixing my own nutrient solution, since the cost really adds up quick. For his year, however, it'll be fine. My watering gizmo is working well, just leaks a tiny bit and that's fine for the remainder of the year. Now that I have an idea of what works for me I can spend the off-season setting up something right. Had to thin out the Lamb's a bit, it wasn't getting anywhere near enough air flow. Also took a few on the ChemDog as I'm expecting mold/rot conditions for a while and she's prone. Shouldn't have much problem, wind blows almost constantly here, but you can never be too careful. Training is taking well, overall they look pretty good. Next year-- bigger grow bags, better soil, and much pickier seed choices. I think I may even abandon the idea of topping them in the future-- it just slows them down and you can get the same end results with training. Granted, my ladies are kinda sparse and ugly, but that's the learning curve. Next time around I think I have a pretty good idea of what to do and when to do it, based on what worked and didn't work this year. Another big thing is nutrient timing-- I def jumped the gun on flower power for a few of them and it just stunted them wicked-- shoulda continued veg food a couple weeks into flower even for the early bloomer, she'd be a monster.

2/1 Week 12! Re-introducing the Peak PK in low dose as I begin to migrate the plant to all Peak and then flush I hope all in less than two weeks. Will step things daily, tomorrow it will be 10 ml CT 10 ml Peak with an eye on the ppm. You get the idea, she has to finish and fast. Valuable lesson, don't have anything ever backed up behind a sativa grow waiting on them to finish, it aint worth it. Grow em at the end of a cycle. 2/2 put the feed at 12ml CT 7ml Peak thought maybe its too much of a swing, tomorrow 10 and 10 2/3 10ml of each this morning. Got to move things along, new plan is to begin flush at start of new week this weekend, At flush changing lights to 12/12 , binding her back up just a little, then placing one of the testers on a stand in the tent to take pressure off the veg tent. 5-7 days later we harvest based on what we see. We cannot come up with anything better As far as growth she is doing great, its a heavy plant and the hairs are still straight and 95% white! Build so fast 2/4 All is well Tara really seems to like the 10-10 dose so leaving it for now. Changed light schedule to match the veg tent. This is to accommodate the near arrival of one of the photos. In a few days the plant will have to finish off at 12-12 so the photo can flip. Not ideal but practical from our point of view. Keeping our hopes up here and uttering my characteristic prayer... Please God dont let me foul this up... Amen 2/5 Feeding as before Had to bind her up a bit, she is so heavy we were afraid of her toppling over. Seriously this plant is TOP HEAVY. Which is good I guess 😬 Not flushing till I see it is time, not messing this one up. Dont get plants like this everyday. 2/7 Ending the week with a full tent again Switched lights to 12-12 and bound her up to fit in half the tent, we literally could not come up with anything else for this. She just keeps going and going lol DRY WEIGHT ON RIPLEY! 261 grams Hoped for more but meh sativas. Still nothing to sneeze at 😇

Week 6 flower and the girls seem to have recovered from last week’s neglect and light intensity, but I’m sure the end result will be affected. The leaves also got a bit beat up. Watered in the final top dressing and did another round of selective defoliation. Moved the tops around a bit to open up the lower bud sites.

Day 1 of week 2 of flowering! Stoked to see what this week brings 🌱🙌🏼 Day 58! Did some heavy defoliation at the bottom on the leaves that were getting much light anymore Day 59! 25.5” Day 60! Starting to see some action going on Day 61! Starting to see some more flowering but slowly Day 62! Just trying to be patient lol all are coming along nicely and are very healthy Day 63! 4/1/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Veg (Day 59 overall) Water Change Day!!! Water was really low it was just above the hump in the Res cutting it close to not having enough water in the system to keep it going. They drank a lot making it close going the full 14 days. I am still going with the previous grows and adding 36 Gallons but even looking at the root I think the SILICA is working and the roots are further along at this point than in previous grows. This next two weeks will watch how much they drink and how low my Res starts getting, and will make a decision on changing the water weekly from here on out or still keep on the plan of every other week until Week 4 of Flower. Might have to take my clones during the week this week, I am trying to wait until Saturday to hit week 8 but again they are getting all over the place and I need to trim some of the sides and lower areas. 4/4/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Veg (Day 62 overall) I decided to take my clones and clean up the lower half of the plants. I took 2 clones from each plant to go into the cloning machine. 4/5/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Veg (Day 63 overall) Water Temp is sitting at 73. Right in my ideal range for my setup. Ideal range 70-74 My Temp Tent is my ideal zone75.6 Ideal for this grow 70-78 The lights are still waiting the switch to flower to get maxed out... The Humidity is coming in right at 60% I love it.. I took so much off yesterday I figure it was a good day to let them rest. 4/6/2023 Week 7- Day 6 of Veg (Day 64 overall) I needed to Defoliate some and I topped a little. The plants might force me to flip them soon. Next Wed is the 10 week mark half way through the 20 weeks. The net is Bingo... Which means that If/when the plants hit the net I will have to flip them. The Net is set to the max height that I can let them get based on the Breeders Stretch report 75%. 4/7/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Veg (Day 65 overall) #3 is 22 inches Tall, #2 is 19 Inches Tall. Net is set at 24 inches. Net is also set as my Bingo point, if they hit the net then I have to flip no matter what to account for the Breeders recommended 75% Stretch allowance. I think I am going to have to flip right at the 10 week mark of the Competition which is Wed 12 Apr. I topped a little, I de-foliated a lot to start getting it ready for the anticipated Flip.

Day 15 since seed touched soil. BAMs are growing like BAM !!!!! Great strain from start. Sometimes i have rh drops to 40%, sometimes nights go as low as 16, no additives and girls are still in great shape for time they used. Thinking to spice roots with BioSys and Great White today before watering. After lights will go off they will get BioBizz Leaf Coat shower too. Friday morning those 3 are out to the woods ! This strain has potential for champions, no doubts ! Day 19. Girls are in final place, now race with the weather and summer starts !!! Hope they will make it, have really good impression till now about this strain . Happy Growing !!!

5 week vegetating. The nutrient overdose is still there. I was outside the weekend and the plant growed too quick (doubled in size in 5 days) so it got burnt with the lamp as yo can see in the pictures. I think it will act likea a topping but i don't know the real impact yet. I have set up an scrog to try to contain the height (1 week later due to logistic problems). The root system is insane and healthy. I think she is near to start flowering maybe this week or the next week. Day 36 update- as you can see the plant is preflowering. I won't change the nutrient solution yet to avoid another fertilization excess. when the plant recover from scrog and prunning i will change to flowering nutrient dose at 80%.

7. Juni Die Dinger wachsen munter weiter. Mittlerweile ist der Geruch wirklich extrem intensiv wahrnehmbar. Sehr süßlich. Buds sehen wunderschön aus, sind allerdings noch etwas mager.

11/22 Day 31 from flip. Today is the first day that I took a tape measure from the lights to the topmost part of the canopy and I haven’t seen a change. I’ll check again tomorrow but I’m really hoping the stretch is finally done. I still have about 10 inches of space between the lights and canopy so I think I’ll be ok with that. I took the chance to do what is hopefully a near final defoliation of a few leaves and some smaller sucker branches that won’t amount to much. Everything still looks super healthy, no red anywhere on any stems and no discoloration on the leaves. Everything is spot on. Light adjusted to 840 PAR / 36.3 DLI. 11/25 Day 34 from flip. I made some adjustments to my nute mix to be more firmly at 1.3 EC, which means I’ve added some additional nutes into the mix. I also tested runoff EC and discovered things were spiking a bit more than I’d like. So I mixed up a few batches of my new mix and I’ve been feeding every few hours to flush things out a little bit. I’ve brought it down from 1.9 to 1.5 so far after this. I may finally need to break down and set up some timers to feed multiple times throughout the day. Obviously once a day is not getting done right now. 11/26 Day 35 from flip. I finally got the timer hooked up to my pump to begin automatic watering. For now, I have it set to water at noon for a minute when the lights come on, a 2 minute pause to let that settle, and then 30 seconds more to make sure both are fully saturated. The second fertigation event will be at 6:00 for 45 seconds, and then right before lights off another 45 seconds. I’ll have to keep an eye on it to see if I need to adjust any more for now. I haven’t adjusted the lights since last time, but the latest reading is 885 PAR / 38.2 DLI at the highest point of the canopy. It’ll stay there for now.

Listen, when things are going great it feels weird! I'm following my feed chart and watching these beauties unfold! They are starting to smell rich and sparkles are starting to show!!!! I always fret over my babies but really they seem to be killing the game right now! Stay tuned.......
