Afghan was a beaut and she would have stayed up longer if the rain had let up. The denseness of her buds is what we admire although it is also why she started to rot. The scent of her is strong and mouth watering. Overall we would grow her again outdoors, this was a strange year with the weather and it is unfortunate but we are quite sure every strain would rot just the same. Hopefully next year has a better balance but that is the way it grows outdoors. As for curing, it was not typical for us at all. First she was washed but Afghan was not trimmed nor was she properly managed, she hung for six days and went in a paper bag for moisture redistribution way to late. Aside from that we had to use a triple beam for an estimated weight and we were unable to get a wet weight so please take the number and outcome lightly. Bone dry does not mean she won’t be enjoyed, she will be made into hash and or edibles.

I topped the two healthiest the Bruce banner and the bigger blackberry auto I also tied down two of them I will let the smaller blackberry run naturally I don’t know if I will do lst though I will see with a little more observation I am still trying to get the watering schedule down pat so I will let the soil dry out a little at least to half the weight it is now oh yeah Ac Infinity holla at me let work!!!!!

Growing: 5 weeks Flowering: 9 weeks This was my first grow indoor from some time ago. First time using the Mars Hydro SP250. Was amazed at the result, did not expect it. Encountered a few problems, including Calmag deficiency and some bugs. Did not gave them water for 30 days after plantation to the big bags of 25L. Harvested all plants at the same time, which might have been too early for a few ladies. Nevertheless I enjoyed getting to know the lamp and hoping I will do better next round. The lamp was in this round not at max capacity but at 226w, it came like that out of the box and I did not adjust it. Also did zero defoliation which resulted in a lot of "Albino Tops" under the net, which I recovered to make butter and bubble hash from. Most of the buds above the net where really dense and not fluffy at all. End result: 320gr total, around 4x 70gr average from the 2x BB OG, 1x A.M.S. and 1x Jack, the Purple Bud gave around 40grams. Wow oh wow 🤩 to start I’ll say I’ve been very careful watching the feeds timing them almost perfectly! Also was a struggling week with humidity! Lucky I have my tricks to keep it down (no dehumidifier) 😊 I use air control 😉 (in the house) air control in the tent is perfect or next to perfect anyway! The aromas are continuously getting stronger and I am in for a treat! This time is my best time! It just shows! But every next time is my best time as I only get better at this!

This week they’ve been filling up. I’m noticing a little more crystallization but not that much. Not sure what’s going on there but they look beautiful.

In week 7 the 12 plants have filled out the space inside the HOMEBOX grow-tent very nicely and therefore its time to switch to flowering. I change the timer, which I put infront of the supply of my SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs, to 12/12 hours of light/darkness. This will induce the flowering of my babies and they can start to develop buds. The BIO NOVA nutrients work very well, which can be seen in the nice healthy green color of the plants. I follow the SOIL-CULTIVATION chart from the BIO NOVA website, but use only half the recommended dose, because my tap-water already has a very high EC-value of 0,8 when it comes out of the faucet. Since I have used REGULAR seeds for THE PURPS from BC-BUD-DEPOT, I have to check for males on a regular basis. Two plants show clear male pollen-sacks already now (see above in video) and have to be culled right away. I cut the plants off at the main stem right above the soil and take away the plants and throw them into the trash right away. This way I make sure NO pollen can mature inside the male pollen-sacks and be released later and inseminate my babies on accident. In the places of the male PURPS plants, I put a MAC and KK-plant into the AUTOPOT-system, so all 12 placed are filled again. Now its time to wait until the first flowers start to appear. 👍😎

High GD community, Week 13, Both girls looking good, but when it get a closer look, there some browning tips on the pistils. Im not pleased with it, bcs im sure its no sign of maturation. There has to be a shoc or drought, lights? I dont know, ive dropt the output a tiny bit. But im not that sure thats the real issue. Ive measured the soil and it seems pretty cold. Like 17.2 and 18.2 celcius for the 1 with infrared heatingmat 5w. Im using less nutrients now 2, so could this be a reaction. I diddnt go cold turkey on them. But its a changer. They also start to drink more, and there was 1 day it felt all a bit lighter then normal. But deffenitly not bonedry. So I got a lot of questions to get some answer to. Diese Woche verlief größtenteils planmäßig und ohne größere Zwischenfälle. Leider habe ich ein paar Thripse entdeckt, was mich dazu veranlasst hat, sofort zu handeln. Ich habe die betroffenen Pflanzen mit Neemöl behandelt, um einem größeren Befall vorzubeugen. Die Pflanzen zeigen weiterhin ein gesundes Wachstum, reagieren gut auf die Pflege und entwickeln sich wie erwartet. Maßnahmen der Woche: Sichtkontrolle auf Schädlinge (Thripse entdeckt) Behandlung mit Neemöl Reguläre Pflege und Gießen wie gehabt Ausblick: Ich werde die Pflanzen in den kommenden Tagen weiter genau beobachten, insbesondere im Hinblick auf die Wirkung der Neemölbehandlung. Falls nötig, folgt eine Nachbehandlung. Ansonsten läuft alles weiterhin nach Plan.

Les colas commencent a gonflé j'ai enlevé les grosses feuilles pour une meilleure qualité lumineuse. I love this girl. She grows tall and fast. Super easy grow so far. Just starting to lst her a little bit more. Posted 4 videos on how I make my tea. I use this When I start seeing hairs until the last 2 weeks. Then I flush Just a compost tea you see here.
