I almost stripped them naked kinda but I need to get more light to the lower bud sites otherwise they are pretty much popcorn. The Green Gelato is happily starting to produce flowers while the Lemon Cherrys are taking their time to stretch one of them is almost 130cm tall and that was the 1 that was the most behind in the early weeks ahhahaha. 08/09/2020/ start of week 3 flowering, I think I'm seeing P deficiency? Watered her with LAB to see if it helps going to put a couple spikes of 4-9-3 around the outer rim, and water in with more LAB to get the microbial army mobilized.🙏

Hi Gromie's all going good, continue H.S.T training, nice flat canopy. Also started some new clones, experimenting took 2 & 3 branch cuttings instead of single stem, so first topping will give 4 & 6 branches. Veg tent set up. Daisy chained recirculating hydro (4) at back & up to 6 DWC pots in front. Lined pots with insulated mylar, has reduced temps around 5°c. Making D.I.Y. DWC system for .

Girls are looking beautiful. had a couple dots of PM show up again. I created a foliar spray using Garlic. I crushed fresh garlic into 4 cups of water and let sit for 12 hours. I strained that mixture and added in 12 cups of water making a gallon of solution. The science behind this is that Sulphur gets extracted from the Garlic and when applied in mist to the leaves it reduces leaf surface PH therefore eliminating the spread of PM. I also increased the soil PH slightly to hopefully inhibit more nutrient uptake and remain strong ! I dont ever want to use any whack chemicals, milk, peroxide... all that seems like you may aswell throw the plant out. We are doing our best to keep up quality of bud as this is my medicine. Her pistils are beautiful white and leaves look healthy. trichome production is wild. Buds are starting to swell ! another 2-3 weeks and ill be cutting bottled nutes and stickin to dry amendments to finish them. Its a 7-9 week Flowering strain according to my source of clones. Northern Lights x Hash Passion. Ill have to keep an eye with my trichome scope and go from there i am currently Following Indo nutrients recommended doses and giving phosphorus + Calcium boost couple days after adding microbes and carbs to soil, i added 4 tbsp of Goguano Bloom and a couple handfulls of Black earth at the end of last week as top bedding. Second scrog arrives today :D very happy to get em spread further and have the comfort of fat buds suspended in the air by second scrog with even coverage 8)

🌸 Runtz - Week 1 of Flowering 🌸 🌿 Genetics: Gelato x Zkittlez ⏳ Flowering time: 8–9 weeks 🔥 THC: Around 27% 🌈 Effects: A balanced mix of euphoric uplift and deep relaxation, perfect for both creative moments and evening chill. 🍬 Aroma and flavor: Sweet, fruity candy notes with tropical and creamy undertones. This plant has completely stolen my heart! ❤️ The structure is absolutely stunning - beautifully forming flowers and an abundance of side branches make this one truly special. The way it's shaping up already has me excited for the weeks ahead! The first week of flowering went perfectly under great conditions, and I couldn’t be happier with how she looks at this stage. At the start of the week, I performed lollipopping to ensure that lower branches, where less light reaches, don’t take away energy from the top canopy. Now, she can focus all her strength on producing some buds! Grow Conditions (FLO Week 1): 🌞 Light schedule: 12/12 🌱 PPFD: 750 µmol/m²/s 💧 VPD: ~1.2 kPa Let’s see what week 2 brings! 🚀🔥

For a first time grower, the SCROG is definitely a bitch and a half... But worth it once you see 75-80% of your tent filled with buds, praying upwards to the light. Thankfully, they have slowed down vertically. So no more twice a day SCROG adjustments for a while --- hopefully anyway. I'm having a hard time with lowering RH. Although a fellow grower has suggested not to worry with RH as long as you apply BT bacteria... True? Any advice on RH management on late flower stage for a noob? I'm always willing to learn! Happy growing everyone! May your plants be merry and happy! 🌿 🌱 😎 NOOB GROWER THOUGHTS, WEEK 7 -- GrowDiaries along with other online forums on growing are filled with helpful individuals who are generous with their time. But maaan, sometimes you really come across people who take this shit waaaay too seriously. Lol! Reddit, here, autoflower network... Everywhere! I suppose that's true in any community. You will always have people of that same ilk. Just funny... I thought wine snobs were bad... GrowSnobs are worse!!!! Have you ever encountered a GrowSnob?

Day Zero: Seeds from FASTBUDS. Cotton pads washed with purchased water, moistened with the same water. I immersed two seeds in each cotton pad. In an ordinary plastic bag, put the discs and inflated with air. The first day: 24 hours passed, the seeds showed white roots, left in the bag in its original state for another day.

Week 5: Transplant Time & Root Power! Oh man, this was one of those weeks! We transplanted all five phenos into bigger pots, and let me tell you, they’re thriving! (Check out the complete video episode for all the details 😉). The girls are looking amazing, all pretty much the same size for now, so I don’t have any favorites yet—but let’s see what the future holds! For photos, I used both my Nikon P900 and Sony A6000, with a bunch of lenses and filters to preserve the true colors—these LEDs are powerful! Current Setup & Conditions This week, they’re still chilling with their sisters in the big tent, but in about a week, they’ll be moving into the TrolMaster ecosystem for even better environmental control. Watering: pH 6.06, EC 0.96 Temperature: A bit cold , but it is what it is. We’re facing some freezing outdoor temps (as shown last week in the frosty veggie garden pics!), yet these Runtz are holding strong like true champions. 💪❄️ Nutrition: Still on the Aptus Clean Program, with: Regulator System Clean RO Water Conditioner All-in-One Liquid Root Development: The Real MVP! Let’s go deep on roots! The mycorrhizae in the Pro-Mix soil has been working its magic, and I’m still boosting them further with a touch of Aptus Holland Mycor Mix. The root development on this transplant was insane—super white, healthy, and ready to explode with growth. What Are Mycorrhizae? The word “mycorrhiza” comes from Greek: • Myco- meaning fungus • Rhiza- meaning root Mycorrhizae are a type of beneficial fungi that form a symbiotic (mutually beneficial) relationship with plant roots. These fungi extend far beyond the root zone, creating an underground network that helps plants absorb water, nutrients, and improve overall health. This is not a single species but rather a whole category of fungi, mainly divided into: 1. Ectomycorrhizae – Live on the outside of plant roots, forming a sheath around them. Common in trees like pines and oaks. 2. Endomycorrhizae (Arbuscular Mycorrhizae, AMF) – The most beneficial for most crops and cannabis. These penetrate root cells, forming structures inside the roots that exchange nutrients. Where Are Mycorrhizae Found in Nature? Mycorrhizae naturally occur in forests, grasslands, and undisturbed soils worldwide. They play a crucial role in maintaining ecosystem balance by helping plants access nutrients from the soil. In a natural environment, plants are constantly forming relationships with these fungi. However, in modern agriculture, excessive tilling, chemical fertilizers, and fungicides have reduced their populations, making supplementation necessary in many cases. How Do Mycorrhizae Work? Once mycorrhizae colonize a plant’s roots, they start forming an underground fungal network called the mycelium. This network extends the plant’s reach into the soil, acting as a second root system. Benefits of Mycorrhizae: ✅ Enhanced Nutrient Uptake – Mycorrhizae help plants absorb phosphorus, nitrogen, and micronutrients that would otherwise be unavailable. ✅ Improved Water Absorption – The fungal network can reach deeper into the soil than roots alone, helping plants survive drought conditions. ✅ Stronger, Healthier Roots – They promote thicker, more robust root systems, reducing transplant shock. ✅ Better Soil Structure – They produce glomalin, a protein that improves soil aggregation and helps retain moisture. ✅ Natural Pest & Disease Resistance – Healthy plants with strong mycorrhizal relationships tend to be more resistant to soil-borne pathogens. How Mycorrhizae Help in Cannabis & Gardening In controlled growing environments, using mycorrhizae is a game-changer. Since cannabis relies heavily on phosphorus, the enhanced nutrient uptake provided by mycorrhizae is especially beneficial. Best ways to apply mycorrhizae: • At transplant – Dust roots with mycorrhizae powder or mix into soil. • As a soil drench – Some liquid formulations allow fungi to colonize even after planting. • Mix into your growing medium – Using pre-amended soil like Pro-Mix HP Mycorrhizae ensures roots have early access. Pro Tip: Mycorrhizae need living roots to survive! Avoid using synthetic fungicides or excessive chemical fertilizers, as they can kill the fungi. Think of mycorrhizae as a natural root booster. They’ve been around for hundreds of millions of years, helping plants thrive in all conditions. By using them in cultivation, you’re mimicking nature, ensuring your plants grow stronger, healthier, and more resilient. When used correctly, mycorrhizae can increase yields, improve plant health, and reduce the need for synthetic inputs—making them a must-have for any serious grower! Can’t wait to see how they’ll look in the next transplant! I made a few changes to my improvised photo studio, including a pink background for now—because why not? Let’s keep things fun and full of color! 🌸📸 Massive gratitude to all our sponsors and of course, a special shoutout to Zamnesia, Plagron, and Grow Diaries for making this amazing cup happen. 🙌 And to the community—followers, supporters, lovers, haters—I love you all! ❤️ Let’s keep pushing forward, learning, and making this grow legendary! More haircuts this week! I am very aggressively trying to keep up with the canopy growth. I'm continuing to remove the small branches underneath the canopy - more or less stripping the undergrowth, while defoliating around the growth sites that have made it to the canopy surface. I'm unsure of how much more growth to wait for before I send her into flower. Maybe next week? Who knows! Not me! Hah! Happily accepting any advice from any experienced main-liners out there! 😉 She's been super thirsty - I have to add a gallon every few days to keep up! I also started adding some p31 Microbes to the reservoir to see what I can see. 😎
