This is Thelma harvest! The website doesn't allow me to add another harvest week so I had to use an additional flowering week... I had 62g dry which is my best harvest without using an artifical light and also way more than what I expected! Thelma clearly developped better than Louise in the same conditions. She was very different from Louise but in the end, the weed is very similar in term of taste and effects. I'm super happy about how this grow turned out! 😎 - The trichomes photos have been taken just before the harvest. - Drying was made at 20-22°C and around 50% of humidity (4 days). - Curing done with humidity in jar between 60-65%, temperature around 20-22°C (2 weeks).

MATARO BLUE by KANNABIA Week #14 Overall Week #13 Veg This week she's doing really well dealing with the heat and elements it's still hot here and she starting to pre flower towards the end of the week hopefully the weather's going to cool down as she starts to flower. Stay Growing!!

A step back recently: Started a final flush (2 days in), and decided to start feeding her again - thanks to some great GD input! 250 ppm at re-start and will work my way to 500ppm? She's still rockin' along - like nothing happened. She topped out at 350 ppm without tanking PH, so she is stable here. PH is now swinging down fairly quickly last 12 hours. Drained off 1/3 of reservoir and get reservoir down to 250PPM. 5 days later, major PH swings down again. Mixed another fresh reservoir. I am using Zero Water 5 gallon system, and just realized the PPM coming out was 100, and PH at 3! If I am at 100 today, that means these filters have been shot for a while, maybe since start of my PH issue. There is also interesting information about when zero water filters reach their expectancy. They put out fishy smell and otherwise. I will be watching my filters more often and taking more notes since this ZeroWater 5 gal system is really the way to go if you are only growing a plant or two. Filters are a bit spendy but when you take time, gas, convenience etc. its a no brainer (if the water coming out is zero:) - I get about 15 gallons per filter (175ppm from tap). Day 70. It’s been about a day since new res change. Steady Eddie at 250 ppm and 6.2. I’ll let her drink the bucket down a good ways if things remain stable with a drift down. I doubt it though, 5 gallon is fine for 12” autos but at 2’ she really needed 8 gal. Time to up the R&D on the cabinet! Also checked Zero Water again and filter is now putting out 200ppm of 3.0 water. New filters installed! Hope she finishes soon, the top of her canopy slowly getting cooked over the last 10 days. 8" of light distance is too little. PPFD 2000+ at the top, but leaf temps are in the upper 70's. Gotta hit a decent DLI on these lower buds - without nuking the top nugs, right?! As the week concludes, she’s in a fresh bath, at 250ppm @ 6.0 and running stable again. New water filters installed so zero water variable removed. Last serving of half+ teaspoon of GH dry KB ripening, and will reduce ppm by 25/day until I reach 10-15%. 1-2 day flush, if at all.

Barney’s knocked it out of the park with this one. This is hands down the most beautiful, strong, resistant, heavy yielding plant that I had so far. The huge colas are made of rock hard, rainbow 🌈 cloured nugs covered in tons of trichomes. It’s hard to describe with words. Moreover she had no problems with mold, botrytis even though the humidity reached 75 % sometimes, because of the crazy humid summer and i was very worried for these enormous flower clusters. In addition to that I had at least 3 or 4 different phenos in 12 seeds but all of them spectacular in they own regard. I am keeping at least 3 of them for future grows. Highly, highly recommended. Hello growers, Vegetative Week 10 – Pineapple Upside Down (Round 2) This week was relatively calm, but a slight issue appeared toward the end. The plant showed signs of reduced vigor. Leaves became slightly droopy and overall posture looked softer than usual. No drastic symptoms, but enough to raise attention. Nutrition had not been modified initially, but given the plant’s size and development stage, hunger became a possibility. EC was increased to 2.0, while pH remains stable around 5.9. At the same time, environmental factors were reconsidered. The plant has now been moved into a larger grow space to improve airflow and overall environmental control. Current parameters are set as follows: • EC: 2.0 • pH: 5.9 • VPD: 0.7 • Temperature: ~23°C • PPFD: ~600 Everything appears properly calibrated. The coming week will determine whether the drooping was nutritional demand, airflow-related, or simple temporary stress. For now, the system is stable. Monitoring and observation will guide the next adjustments. See you next week. Take care.

Aug 22 - Aug 28 Week 16 (Day 106-Day 112) The Low Down- Plants responded well to the Advanced Nutrients I watered with a couple of days ago. By 'responded well' I just mean that they didn't yellow or adversely react. I'm still watering 2 gallons per day per plant when I water, but I skipped a day since I don't want to get root rot. Twice before I have had the plants get waterlogged at the bottom of the pot (obviously right =-) ), and I didn't know then that it caused the leaves to yellow from the bottom up. I honestly thought I had nutrient burn. That said, I skipped a day on the watering. I applied kelp meal on day 111. I broke my rule and used Monterey B.T. on day 111. Honestly--I felt scared because I can't inspect the plants everyday so I went for the Monterey b.t. to combat the caterpillars. Not sure if I will apply again since we are in flowering. The Plants- The plants look great and smell great. Thank you EQuillibrium Genetics. Everyday they get a little more aromatic. The smell is somewhere between minty/lemony/orangey and some bomb ass weed. Will definitely hit. One day I could've sworn it smelled like that Gary Payton weed, basically kushy, citrusy, and a little sour diesely. On DAY 108 in the morning they smelled like orange fanta. Amendments- I applied kelp meal on DAY 111 (Aug 22). The quality has improved in my plants since I started more actively amending the soil a few years back. Before I just used to add that Alaska fish emulsion directly on the soil once a month. Now I use Kelp Meal from Down-to-Earth and the Bud Candy and Overdrive from Advanced Nutrients. I even used some cha-ching from Fox Farms at the end of last season. I don't start adding anything until at least a month or two into the grow because the soils I use already come amended. I also continue using the soil year after year. I take all the soil at the end of the year and place it on a tarp. Then I add perlite, bone meal, blood meal, kelp meal, molasses, coffee grinds, banana peels, egg shells, and mix it all up. I let that sit for a couple of weeks or longer and then start using it on my potted plants in the garden. If I have enough left over after 2 months I will fill up the fabric pots again and plant clover, thyme, and oregano during the off season.
