Started this in Phd water 5.8 and got two phenotypes eventually, a sativa that was super vigorous and an indica that had paper thin leaves and grew much slower. Dropped into water 4/1/2022

Fast forward to end of week 4, time to choose and top to start the manifold process, the large fan leaves are bigger than my hand and its starting to smell funky - like skunk a little Week 4 would have started 4/24/2022 - adding this after the fact

Pre=mainline a week after first top, waiting til it get six nodes on each side so I can manifold, just Ph'd water and light nutes, trace amounts of hygrozyme and big bloom plus some fancy stuff I ordered off the inter webs that clams to be bio-dynamic. I also laced the soil with enough myco to start a root bonanza, these are the fancy auto pots that don't work unless they are like PERFECTLY level. So I rig them, and monitor them, so far so good. Week 5 started 5/1/2022 - I topped at the start of week 5, and the pic shows May 11, not sure what is up with that. Just go with it.

Week 7 started 5/15/2022 : Getting down to business, she drank a lot of water yesterday, I defoliated like a boss, got a new AC infinity carbon filter installed and churning, cleaned up tent and getting ready for the heavy veg, added the SF-1000 for extra white light, and added a strawberry to add some terpenes later in the grow. White Widow Strawberry! Fan is oscillating like it should and air circulation movement is great, fresh air coming in through filtered six inch intake. The 🐛🐝🐜🐞 have left after a bit of diligence and Crop Control spray. Just fungus gnats, par for the course no other baddies. I am trying to get lighting right without increasing heat, so far it's 77 at its highest which is fine, but I see some damage on the leaves from maybe too much light, not sure how though, LUX meter said it was under range. I underestimate the LEDs, they definitely need to be right in the sweet spot so as not to under radiate and cause slow growth -- or burn leaves when too much light is too close.

Can someone check out the LUX meter video and tell me how I should be positioning my lights? I think maybe I have too much light on them. My meter says 600 (x100) that puts me at like 60000 lumen. The converter I used put that to 1541.36 umol/s/m2 which is a lot of light already

Idk which meter you are using. But because you are using leds and hids they have different wave lengths and you need a meter that you can get 2 dif readings off and then add them 2gether to get a true ppfd map. Here's what I'm talking about. Use this and it'll give you a proper lux reading. As 60000 lumen from a high led light is only in the 800 range. And the SF1000 is only rated in that range, but you are using another light with a dif wave length. Good luck

Week 8 started 5/22/2022 Ending week 7 strong. Last day was 5/21 -- I added some organic dry food *** from the local, PH'd water to 6.2 with some added Cal Mag Pro. Just going on instinct here, added some epsom salt on top and will water that in later. Water in the tray feeder thing (Auto Pot XL in manual mode) is 6.3 ish. Centered into the lights and measured with the LUX meter. As she starts vegging into the lights its gets stronger and stronger, from about 600 to about 1200+ (just a little less than full sun outside in my locale-- I measured). I am not sure exactly what this measurement means, I only use the sun as a reference. I have both lights on full blast. Still deciding if I can handle the heat of adding the 150W HPS, its HOT HOT HOT, but it makes the flowers huge. I am stopping the LST into week 8, nothing but clean water for a while into the veg, don't want to over feed. I am just doing regular maintenance, watching the grow, and I keep using Crop Control as a preventative measure, I don't care if I am wasting it-- not to be weird but it just smells like it will work LOL. Still tweaking air flow. Height at 9" is the table, there are some tips that are at 12".(I re-measured and changed this to more accurate #s) She has to grow to at least two feet up. I need to measure everything and may have to reposition my filter to accommodate the height. We'll see. I am cleaning up the grow area now, nothing left to do except clean and water. Auto Pot guys said my stuff is missing little rubber grommets from the factory, maybe I can fix the damn things and they will have auto water and we will see if that affects grow speed into flower. I am scared I am going to outgrow my tent this time. I wish I had an A/C Infinity 4x4, those look sick. Next day follow up: Measured: I have just enough room to pull this off. I will re-position filters and lights before switch to flower. I will have two charcoal filters and one A/C Infinity fan, with just the single Auto Pot XL, and it will be functioning since I found the parts to fix. I may get some custom aqua-ponics - bubble-ponics thing going in the tray I placed it in, I think with more oxygenated water and a higher level, more cooling and I may actually get more growth/flower -- we'll see, I am always scheming and I have parts! Still thinking it through as pre-flower time approaches soon. week 8 day 3 - minor surgery, f'd up a cola branch by super-cropping the shit out of it. Fixed, but lost time on that cola, added side light on that side to help fill in, just when I should be getting ready for pre-flower! oh well, that is part of the mainline manifold game. Gotta have grafting tape on hand and assess before it gets to be an unsolvable issue. check your plants and pay attention to what they say to you. ***Dry fert. stats: EB Stone vegetable fertilizer blended with humic acid and beneficial soil microbes including mycorrhizae. NPK: 4-5-3 Derived from: Blood Meal, Feather Meal, Bone Meal, Dried Chicken Manure, Bat Guano, Alfalfa Meal, Kelp Meal, and Potassium Sulfate.

Week 9 started on May 29, 2022 This week is gonna be the last full veg week. I added the flowering HPS light to the side where the cola was injured, plants love the HPS so I figured why not, I'll ned it during flower. Of course that raised tent temps a full 3-5 degrees, had to change some ventilation parameters, fan speed went up on both in tent, and on the a/c infinity. I also cleaned the screens, and opened another vent at the base. Fans are on. The plant has done very well. Added Foop spray into the mix and so far so good, I see that it has slightly improved the plant in a short period, and it smells pretty good, took it to the garden for more trials. Dudes at AutoPot USA fixed my stuff!! Thanks guys. The fix they troubleshooted worked. My res is below 300 ppm and at 69 degrees F I have Fox Farms Bloom diluted and Bio War Flower crushing the biologicals - after I fixed the leak issue, I figured why not feed her while she gets her finals sea legs for the flower trip ahead. Nothing crazy, I run stuff diluted, especially when I am dialing my light pre flower, I can't risk burning them with heat or nutes. I am a tucking fool, a bending fool, and a foop spraying fool this week, you guys are not gonna believe how many fan leaves this thing put out in seven days, and I took off a significant amount mid week 8, I was a bit worried, oh well, never-mind this is White Widow, she doesn't care, all she wants to do is bust outside in jungle in South America

Week 10 started on Sunday June 5, 2022 We should really call this week PRE-FLOWER, or recovery week... So before this week, I put the White Widow manifold through hell. 56+ hours of total dark, pushed the plant well into high temps and lots of light before the switch I left the fan on low, and turned the water off to let the soil dry just a bit, because she was drinking a lot and I wanted to flush the veg nutes. 56+ hours later- Opened up at 6:30am and she was visibly taller, I am talking like 5-6 inches stretched. Leaves super pale like pre-flower mixed with light burn (possible cause I was pushing). I cleaned every inch of the grow, flushed the tanks, washed the trays, and got her sparkling clean water Ph'd a little higher like 6.3 trending Set her up to recover under less intense lights on 12/12 as I ramp up to full lights again. She is drinking a lot of water and I just have it on auto feed. De-fol like 3x now to get some tiers, low ties look super healthy. Mid-low tiers are just getting full size. I trimmed the crap out of the mid section, killed some runty spindles. And took off a lot of volume. Then I did that two more times to a lesser extent. I am slowly adding Mad Farmer Mother of All Bloom - first a sprinkle lat week. Then like a 1/4 dose in about 7 gallons. Then two days later I brought that up to about 3/4 of the correct dosage. I have heard a little goes a long way. Don't want to burn her. Cool thing about the dark period, seems like it saved me time switching - I think 48 hrs would have been perfect. Also, next time I will have clean Ph water instead of letting her dry out. Planning is a bitch sometimes. I have hairs on all the colas, and I am thinning out the spindly ones as they show me they can't keep up. Bending and some light super cropping. Thinning gradually so I don't impair the growth. Water quality after res clean is great, near perfect and temp is stable. Humidity is up due to plant respiration - that is a good sign and I will handle that in late flower with more light, now I have the reds off to maintain vegetative growth. (sf-1000 won't let me turn those off )

Week 12 Started on June 19, 2022 Finally recovered and lots and lots of defoliation happened, I am talking a compressed ball of leaves and stems the size of a softball. That means I got rid of most the weight below the buds, snipped the buds I didn't want to see straggling, and lollipopped colas -- left a few leaves on. Took a few clones to see what happens. She is doing well, more pics soon. I cleaned the reservoir again, fresh water, drained the autopot and made sure my Ph is 6.3 to 6.7 Adding weak calmag+ to deter the iron lockout I think I saw in early week 11, figuring out dosing now, might need a bit more. Not a ton of nutes added as the plant is progressing well, added a tiny amount of MOAB, also just thinking my single COB flower light is gonna be too weak on its own. We'll see it's early yet. Might need to turn on the supplemental light next week, old school HPS 150 Watt on its last grow. The heat will drive the humidity way way down, and that will be a good thing, just gotta crank the fans on high and no looking back after that. That will be 400 watts in a 3x3 -- HPS is hot as can be. When compared with growth like this: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/135853-grow-journal-by-kushdoctor/week/766680#gallery=5630051 I worry about the size right now on day 18 of flower, not that big and no sugary stuff yet, I think I need to let her just grow and perhaps add just a bit more flower nutes, but I will wait until she fills in just a bit more, I seriously took off SO MUCH, but last grow I should have taken more off than I did, I was was super aggressive, I don't want larf.

Week 13 started Sunday June 19, 2022 PPFD is around 900-1000 umol/s/m2 and from 16" to 13" inches away (two massive colas on right side) its over 1200 at 13" so I am worried about bnding those down daily She's fully back from her flowering transition and now putting energy into the colas. She has greened up, cal mag FTW. I have been running a diluted combo of Mad Farmer MOAB, don't ask, I just do it by gut feel and I read the label EVERY time I apply this. Running a little of Tiger Bloom in there, super weak amount. Hygrozyme now that the res has been up and clear for over a week holding Ph well, and no drama. AutoPot is performing better than I had hoped given the lack of parts, now fixed thanks to AutoPot support. Great team over there BTW. The valve is pulling water in just when the roots have been "exposed" for a short while (this is inside the pot so obviously blacked out). IOW there is a pocket with air stones that I run 24/7 so the soggy soil is continuously aerated. It pulls in my solution that is about 6.5 Ph as of this AM (Recall WW likes it a little higher). Now that I have her in flowering mode, she is wanting more heat and light so I lowered the lights and adjusted the fan to get humidity down I am ONLY running the COB LED right now because she is performing well enough and environment is pretty good Lots of airflow and she is healthy. Routine 🐛🐝🐜🐞, easily killed in one organic treatment of Crop Control and another from Dr. Earth. Fungus gnats, and a couple of other unidentified bugs Temps are pretty stable and my CO2 is high, sometimes over 1100 naturally. I do have a new Black Pearl Oyster mushroom going in the room, probably belong CO2, all air inlets into my two small cannabis tents are filtered with small particle filters and I egress hot air out of a 15 ft 6" diameter vent through the ceiling. There is also a natural vent allowing lots of fresh air into my space. It a great area to grow in. Light defoliation here and there, lots of bending and checking things, but otherwise not much to do except look for issues and maintain the environment, we are locked in for the next two weeks, just dialing in the environment and trying to get humidity down without running too much energy. 6/21 Adjusted TDS to 269 from 315 and added some Big Bloom to the mix in a super diluted form. This is prime time flower and she is feeding fiercely. I need to stack those bud site and put on some weight, so this stuff is always good to add. But always mindful of the MOAB, its a lot and I could easily burn if I goof up. *** Found that week 10 should probably be a vegetative week, so I I adjusted to represent more accurate timing. So I backtracked and fix some dates, yep I am in week three of flower not four, and I am probably on day 15-17 of flower, easily have about 40 days left. Before I posed my grow question I was guessing five weeks so I guess despite the mix up, I was thinking about the same time. Pics uploaded

Week 4 of flower, can I get opinions of how this plant looks? I think she looks great, but maybe I am missing something, I notice some slight discoloration in the leaves, but sugar leaves are forming and she looks frosty as hell to me. All comments welcome.

Like she's not in week 4. After looking through your diary I can see she started flowering the next week that you have marked as flowering. When you flip doesn't mean you count them days as flowering.. it's when you see pistils. Lots of ppl get this mixed up in the beginning. I did. Sure I didn't even know the difference between autos and photos. I just bought autos by chance. And I thought all lighting timing was 12 hours from beginning to start. 🤣🤣🤣. Anyways. This is the 3rd week of flowering. So idk how far you in to your 3rd flower week not 4th then maybe its flowering 15+ days. Still very early brother. Check out your breeder guidelines but most are 45-65 days depending if they autos or photos but some will say 60 and that'll from seed to harvest. (Rarely works like that. Expect 3-5 weeks of veg from autos and 6-8 weeks of flowing. Good luck.

Week 14 started Sunday June 26, 2022 -- 4th week of flower plus maybe a day or too because I darked her for 56 hours off schedule Light defol, she is on cruise control and just adding bulk. 6-27-2022 Light defol, added 150w HPS side light to get more coverage and raise the temp a couple degrees, so far so good, temps are stable and humidity went down to like 54 so I am happy 6-29-2022 Moved colas around for more light, had to pin them back a bit to get light on the whole cola. Light defol, mostly larfy stuff she doesn't need to put energy into. Between 9am and 4pm, she drank the entire fill from the autopot by 4pm, she will prolly fill again tonight. So at a minimum, I think she is doing at least one full fill up into the autopot each day. Remember this is the XL model, so the tray itself holds probably 1.5 gal, so she is drinking at least 1-2 gallons a day in this env. 6-30-2022 Typical maintenance day, checked PH 6.4 in rez, checked Ph in AutoPot, 6.4, added secret weapon Biowar Flowering beneficials to the rez, to the plant directly with water off for a few hours, and directly into the tray where the roots are. I left the water off to let her have a nice dry cycle over night to get all that goodness into the root zone. Bent some leaves back, repositioned some colas for better canopy penetration. Bought a Gorilla 4x4 so I may move her into if I decide to change the flowering lighting with the new hotness - got a new 400+ watt light too, Phlizon COB 2000, it was only $149 with a $100 manufacturer discount! We'll see if it get deployed on this grow...

Week 15 started 7-03-2022 July 4th Update Cleaned our rez and made water at 6.3 Ph, cal-magged. Heavier defol. to reveal more bud sites and give more light. Upgraded flowering light higher output and more coverage. Temps are fine. She started yellowing and getting pretty defensive with the amount of light, so I backed it off to 18", way more light from this 400w COB. The UV is hurting her too so she is throwing more color into the flowers. I am flushing a bit right now and letting her just get used to the light. Added Gaia Green on top and top fed after a 12 hour pause and then flushed out the rez, so now just good water on roots, letting the media get used up, but I don't want deficiencies at the end of the grow, hence the gentle ferts. I don't want a chemical taste so flush with the natural stuff. I will top feed once more once she gets happier looking. So cal mag, like 3 ml of Hygrozyme for root health, and PHd - keeping it simple. (Don't over do the Hygrozyme) 07-06-2022 The upgrades continue. Moved the new light and new carbon filter, along with the A/C Infinity fan to a new Gorilla Growtent Lite 4x4, which is perfect for me for a good while. It barely fit in the space, modified the fan a little and its working like a champ with near identical environmentals. Moved the White Widow manifold into the 4x4 and adjusted the lights and she seems happy so far. I can tell the new light is adding growth and bulk just in a few days. Hopefully the new tent will encourage more ventilation and growth as well. Way less light leakage, almost none. So far I am happy.

Killed on day 98 Hermies in week five, found that the stalk had split and had been that way despite trying to support it. When the stem split, it happened slowly, I think this stress caused her to hermie. I will make butter I guess, there were like 20% red hairs, but I didn't want to proliferate any more pollen. Learned something about manifolds, they are slow, can be amazing, but lots of work. I am not a fan of autopots for cannabis after this grow. At the end of the day, I am just a plain old soil kind of grower, and the more advanced stuff is out of my league right now. So next grow is just soil and plain water. I am guessing about the weights, its prolly way more wet than I put down
