Zamnesia's Lemon Cherry Gelato seems to be flowering very quickly; we're in our third week, and we have a nice main cola forming. It's a bit sensitive to fertilizer, so we only use a small amount of base fertilizer and additives, always monitoring for signs of overgrowth. We're growing in an 11-liter square plastic pot. Techniques chosen: The plant was left to grow and we pruned the lower parts thoroughly to give the upper parts a boost. We're 100% organic and 1000% Plagron, as always. Well they are all set and into the forever homes all put into promix soil with added root stimulant ..They are all happy and healthy going to be adding a netting and doing it that way .. These are all maxing breeders with great genetics .. Ladies and gentlemen, here we are closing up week 4 of flower and I am so surprised at the size and beauty of these buds. The fan leaves are so small half of them are upside down, so it's crazy to me how it's able to photosynthesize the way it does with what it has to work with... I highly recommend this gross. She smells wonderful, very unique, but in a very good way, and as you can tell from the pictures, the buds are gonna be gorgeous beause you literally don't even have to do anything to them... easiest grow ever from seed to smoke .. hope everyone is doing well.God bless and have you growing 🙏

AUGUST 24 to AUGUST 30, 2024 Sunrise 07:05, sunset 20:50 for total daylight of 13:45 hours. Specimen continues to push upwards, gaining approximately 13cm in height over the past week. Plant is taller than anticipated and planned for, which could present some difficulties as it's getting into the oscillating air circulation fan's wake. Was surprised to see the continued stretch, but there were two days of high heat that may have been the trigger, or, it may have been the result of defoliation and pruning, or it was simply the plant's final push, or a combination of all those factors. It appears to have crowned, or is close to being fully crowned, and as such I undertook a fairly heavy defoliation to improve airflow through the bottom of the plant, and strategically removed leaves in the upper canopy to improve light exposure. Fungus gnats did regain their hold, and so I decided to top dress with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (delivered via pulverized Mosquito Dunks) in an effort to kill larvae, treated with Soil Pest Defense (Neem Oil, Castile Soap and Yucca Extract) and replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps at soil level. Effects were pretty immediate, but I will need to stay on top of this. Would like to cease use of Neem Oil in the soil, so considering acquiring some beneficial nematodes to combat the pest issue. Overall, specimen and its' "neighbours" in the greenhouse are doing well, and filling the room. When accounting for the bench and containers, tops of plants are over 152cm (5ft) from ground level. It is making management a little more challenging, and proving to be more difficult to find good angles to photograph (the space is pretty much filled up). The scent of citrus, skunk and spice emanating from the greenhouse is building, and at times quite strong. Still appears to me to be on-track for ripening the week of October 14, 2024. Day 120 - n/a Day 121 - Drip watered 5.0L of plain rainwater with pH of 6.7 Day 122 - n/a Day 123 - Defoliated specimens, focused on removing leaves from lower parts of the plant to improve airflow (lollipop), pruning hidden or non-producing branches, and strategically removing select upper fan leaves to improve light exposure and airflow. Day 124 - Top dressed with pulverized Mosquito Dunk (1/4 unit per specimen); 1.5L drip watered with plain rainwater in the morning; Hand watered 2.0L of Soil Pest Defense Drench in the afternoon; Hand watered 1.0L of plain rainwater about 30 minutes after soil drench; Replaced Bug Scan Yellow Sticky Traps (1 unit per specimen, cut in half and rested at soil surface on two sides; With defoliation from yesterday, room air flow seems adequate, after increasing speed of lower fans. Day 125 - n/a Day 126 - n/a Next week, planning to feed the rhizosphere with Compost Tea and continue efforts to control fungus gnat population.

This is the sister diary of the Runtz showdown, in which we pit two great performing strains created by two highly acclaimed and respected breeders, in a duel to the death. Alien vs Triangle seems to have recovered from the extreme bending incident last week. Bud sites are developing nicely. I fed this week with Fox Farm Organic Big Bloom and Recharge. Looking forward to the results.👍

I start immediately apologizing for not respecting the week in updating the diary, but with work and looking after the plants I had no time. Now it is the end and I have collected everything. The experiments with ice water went really well and the pollen yield has increased again. The plant is spectacular and I am very proud of my work and what I have achieved. The buds are very compact and smell really exaggerated. This BlackBerry I cleaned it all out of the excess leaves apart from the little sugary ones and left it in whole branches and hung it on a clothesline that I am leaving in a dark room with the values checked at least for the next week so that I can start a new cycle. But the smell is just too much!!!! Great FastBud and sure I'll be making more varieties soon. The monkey has now burrowed on my shoulder and the desire to try this delight is more and more.

DAY 35 Flowering: A good week for bud growth this week and plenty of light to reach all those tucked away bud sets too. The room looks so full now with the monster sized Strawberry Pie dominating the canopy and pushing the height limits. All of the buds on these two girls , including the secondaries, are a good size with so much vigerous pistil growth going on now that they look like their own plants. These girls need a lot of room to benefit from their natural size proportions and this was AFTER I used tip spreading to keep them lower !!!. Not sure the plant took me serious now !!. Lol I could not be more impressed with these at this point and I can see 2 potential auto personal bests forming.... The Six Shooter #1 is a nice sized lady too. Inhave had to do a little bending and rescuing on a couple of branches as they were too far out of light and also blocking other growth but she looks good on node spacing too so should have some nicely stacked colas at harvest time. Her sister #2 is half her size but has a lot of side growth to compensate thankfully. Being so low down compared to the other 5 plants has thankfully not been too much if an issue thanks to the FC3000 being so penetrative. Even the buds at the very back of the grow ate getting ample light to really bang the weight on from feeding and converting. Both of the six shooter are starting to colour up with orange hairs now and it does look like they could be the 1st to finish at this point. Mexican Airline are developing steadily. The #1 is rmteying toncatch upnwith bud production now but her long node lengths suggest she will be more clumps of flowers than stacks , her yield will no doubt be far lower than her sisters due to her slow start and progress but she still looks like she could pull through with some decent nugs. #2 has a lot shorter nodes and should look a little more spikes hopefully. They are showing one or two amber hairs now at just past the halfway point so we are doing ok. Lol All in all , I am loving this run of plants and the light has performed so well considering the canopy difference. Until next time. Be well Growmies.

This week I am going through and pulling the large fan leaves off , she is a slow flowering plant so I'm just doing my best to be patient with her !!! A true gem with an unique structure !!! I think this girl is gonna be a 10 week flower , she is just starting to get smaller flower spots . Still a beast !! Added a CO2 bag directly above the canopy , added a 150 watt "blurple" light above GG#4 S1( number 2) More picture notrs and videos to follow !!

At the start of week 12 she’s looking amazing binded her to the lid of the Bucket to open her up a little more so more air can move arround her and light can penetrate better

Last update. ill let her be, just a few more days in PH regulated Tapwater then' she'll get the cut. theres already a 2nd plant waiting to flower in there so im no to sad about the end. this was definitely my biggest learning experience when it comes to growing. good she was super forgiving. ☺️

28-10-2018 Filling in quickly, nice blend with the Gorilla Glue, managed to make a few clones last week before changing to 12 cycle. hope they can stand the wait until this round finishes in 8 weeks if not i will just re clone again off the clones lol 31-10-2018 Halloween and the girls are wearing their best costumes. GG are really starting to beef up, There are quite a few buds under the screen, would have been a ton better had i started training earlier on. Some new pics of the progress. Early week 6 update (i'll add more pictures and comments as needed): Unfortunately I hit some challenges! Light got way too close and stunted growth for a day. I noticed it on tips closest to the light only. Raised lamp to 22 inches. Indica bagseed (plant in the center front) got too stacked: stuff like leaves on top of each other with lots of moisture, no light/airflow penetration, etc. I did some basic LST, leaf tucking, net tucking, to open her up and go sideways more a bit at first. It helped a bit. Unfortunately aug 27, had to get more aggressive on this beast and remove 3 shade leaves on the right side. not happy about defoliating, but had to do it. Will see how she takes it and then look at left side on a later day. Growing the first time is educational and actually therapeutic in today's world for me. I've already learned so many lessons for the net time: don't need such a yuge pot, lamp brightness/distance, air circulation!!! Thank you to everyone that responds with positive encouragement/messaging, it really helps. Adding two more fans to help air circulation aug 28. hopefully it reduces the need to desecrate the plants! Meanwhile the plants in back (purple canyon) want to stretch their faces off, esp. the one in back left, so it is a balance. I only have so much vertical height :) aug 29, flipped to 12/12. plants are happy and i want to control the space for first grow. let's see how it goes. updated the humidity for the week to ~ 60. Ida etc has made it miserable, it should get better soon.

Actual flowering 37 days: This lady has had a bit of a battle waiting for me to get her some calmag this week. She showed deficiency early last week but I thought it was light burn initially. Her size has suffered slightly i feel now and explains why she hasnt been as vigorous as she once was. She has 2-3 weeks left now till harvest so i hope she can budswell her way into a great yield. She smells sweet and is tacky to touch too. fingers crossed i can keep her happy
