3/26/24 moved to 5 gal pots. Didn’t mix any amendments. I should have. Gave her a diluted mix of the Terp Tea Grow. Responded well. She’s finally getting her roots to spread and to get used to her new env
3/31/24 I switched them to their final grow space in my garage, from the warm bathroom in my house so I think they are getting used to the environment finally. Finally getting the environment dialed in for them. The garage on its own is a stable 50-60*F and RH 50-60%. I thought that would be easy to control with minimal swings. The light didn’t bring the temp up as high as I thought. Things are dialed in now and they should start taking off.
4/5 coming to the end of week 2. I already love this plant. She loves all the bondage. She taking all the abuse and loving it, responding well, spreading out well. There’s so many mains about to pop up. Not sure if I should spread her out more/ top her and all that.
On second thought, I should maybe give them a week to gather themselves and then work with her from there. This plant 🌱 is super exciting to work with. If I could find even nodes(clone) then this plant would respond so well to mainling or any other high stress training. The nursery I got the cut from, says that she’s very vertical in growth and will trippple in size during flower.
Training: I decided to top her at the very top, with no particular plan besides to slow vertical growth. Because she was a clone, the structure is random but bottom growth is fairly well developed. After topping and she started growing quick again, I did some hst by supercropping her or whatever it’s called. This wasn’t random. I bent her in half at the point the lower branches reach to. Spreading her out and giving me many options to play with. I held down the lower ones or any that were above the rest, trying to keep her low and maximize canopy coverage.
4/15 changed lights from 20/4 to 16/8. I want to flower soon but the change of 8 hours rapidly to do 12/12 seems like too much so I dropped it by 4 and added 4 and then another couple weeks and drop another 4 down to 12/12
Defoliated and flipped to 12/12
Slight stretch.
Plants didn’t like that I only gave them half veg nutes and half bloom. They look nitrogen deficient. They’ve also shown some calcium deficiency i believe. The uprising foundation is cal mag and sulfur mostly I believe. So it’s good to have
Switched to flower nutes too early. Back to full strength terp tea grow 711. Atleast for the next 2 weeks, maybe less.
5/1/24
Plant is stretching now. FYI just to clarify, I switched lights to 12/12 on 4/20 but I am considering her being in veg still until I see more pistils. Probably the end of this week. After a 2 week transition period
5/3
2 days later and I need to get my damn camera in the tent! This stretch is starting to look like nursery explained. She’s supposed to triple in size. I thought I tied her down too much and she would stay short. I swear she’s grown an inch over night. Starting to dominate the tent. Literally 2 days ago, I said that I didn’t consider this week to be flower and still the transition phase. Now she looks like she’s fully in the flowering phase. She’s beautiful and I’ve been impressed since veg. Since I chose her as a clone I liked the way she was. Hoping she follows through🌱💚
Happy Mother’s Day.
5/13
Getting weird like bright neon orange pistils. I personally think it’s way too early to have pistils changing colors already.
5/16 fairly certain it was wind burn. My humidity was jacking up and my fan was trying to compensate. Changed settings and we should be golden now. Plant is frosting up hella already. I think there’s more frost than there are pistils
5/18 day 20 of flowering. Last day of week 2
5/28 I think she's about to go off.
6/2 she's been droopy leafed for a bit. I backed off on nutrients for over a week. I thought it may have been overwatering but at the same time I don't want to kill off the microbe life in my soil right now by letting it get overly dry. I'm more experienced with coco and the dry back is more aggressive and intense and with soil it's a little different and slower but it als9 cant dry back as
This plant is super frosty, super sticky, and super stinky. I ain't complaining super impressed. The different hues and the thickness of the frost are unreal and the cameras and lighting right now don't do it justice.
6/17/24 she's winding down to the end(still a couple weeks) she's throwing out purple on the fan leaves. Thinking she may fade out nicely.
6/21 seeing some yellowing on the purple fading. Niiiice 👍
6/24 this may be the last week. The screen recordings are of both plants (purple octane and rs11) they're both close. I also went back and did some math and the last week of veg, should've been first week of flower. I may let her go for 10 weeks. We will see how she looks throughout this week(trichs)
6/25 looking super close. All cloudy besides maybe 10%
6/29 will get in there with a microscope again. just waiting on her to ripen. can't tell if she's done, or at rhat point where she looks so good that she's done but then that last week the plant explodes. well see and yall will definitely hear about it.
7/1 I think she's still got another week. I keep checking the trichomes. she's even started throwing out some more pistils. she's starting to chunk up like that shit that looks like mountain ranges or
7/3 Not sure where all the pictures went? GD is having some issues
7/5 brought out the microscope. it's wild. the lower buds or one's covered seem immature. not much amber at all and a bit of clear trichomes. but the upper buds and mains are so amber that it's more further along than I'd normally let her
7/10/24
testing testing. can i post updates now?
beautiful buds. the leaves are changing into a blue color. it reminds me of some of the blue city diesel i got from a buddy back in the medical days.
